It's a place with lots of potential, it's more for an older crowd. As you walk in it is not very clear if I should seat myself or be seated, they didn't have 3 of 4 beers they had on the menu. The menu you scan does not have all the options of food including kids menu that they offer. It's hard to recommend as a place to go with the boys and drink or take your significant other to eat. In either case what is noticed is that there is allot of friends of then owners that show up.
Food was great. It's one of the rare places I have found that offers a cheese and onion pasty on the menu. The pasty was top notch and highly recommended for anyone looking to try something new. It's a classic British item. Had the pasty with a side of sautéed mushrooms with garlic. Only downside is that this place is only open for about 4 hours on Monday thru Thursday. This spot rocks! Hubs and I stopped in for a beer after a reunion with old friends at the grave site of our beloved Nicholas for his birthday. We weren't gonna eat but then we saw and smelled the food coming out of the kitchen. So glad we decided to eat. The tikka masala was real good. The lamb samosas were ? excellent. They had Harp Lager on tap which is always a good thing. The vibes were up. Music was good. People were happy. Staff was great. Thank you! Much love ?
