“Authentic food from Chiapas Mexico. Distinct flavors that all can appreciate at a great price. Had lunch with my family and we were well served and well taken care of. We tried the especially good Torta. I had the tamal with huevos revueltos and It was all delicious. The agua fresca de Melon was also very good and I recommend it if you like it when agua frescas don't carry too much sugar. The place looks like a hole in the wall and it lived up to all the great reviews.“
“This place is remodeled from when I last visited. It's spacious, clean and the food is fresh and delicious. ? I had the fish tacos and my wife the chilaquiles. My wife loved her plate which was served with rice and beans. My fish tacos..... WOW!!!! They were delicious. They are now amongst my top 10 of best fish tacos, for sure. The fish portions are huge and barely fit on the regular size tortilla. The taste was fresh, not fishy. It's and absolutely must try. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the many other dishes they serve. As for their prices, the menu did not have any. Our bill for 3 people was $45. This includes sodas and our food. I thought it fair. The service was awesome. They were very attentive and made sure we were content during our visit. The restrooms were very clean and are handicap friendly. “Visited this establishment the other day. It is a small venue, but the people who work here make you feel welcome. I tried some empanadas (shrimp) were delicious! I had a campechana cocktail and a tostada de camarón. Both of these were also delicious. I loved the chips and salsa and I appreciated the fact that the food here is made fresh as soon as you order. The service here is great. The ladies who work here are courteous and very friendly. It was a good first impression and I would definitely come back to dine here.“
“4++ this taco truck came up on my search when I was looking for good tacos in the area. The person I ordered from was friendly. The truck seems to be a super popular spot in the area. I got my usual when going to a new truck / taqueria, etc. - a mulita and some tacos. In this case, I got a carne asada mulita (very large) and three tacos - Al pastor, cabeza, and a pescado. I thought every thing I ordered was tasty and well done with my favorite prob being the Al pastor taco and the mulita. I like that they give you pretty much everything you need in the form of small cups and baggies. I came on the later side on a Friday evening. Just got out of the gym and was leaving the area and I was hungry. So I sat in one of the provided stools and used another stool to dress up my stuff. It wasn't as busy as I was expecting on a Friday night but maybe I beat the late night rush. It was kind of a dark area and not a lot of foot traffic so parking was really easy to find.“

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but you walk in and it's a pretty large, nautical themed mariscos restaurant. The folks here were super friendly. I came in, got seated right away and was given some chips and salsa while looking over the menu. The salsa has a nice kick to it and was tasty. I don't think I've ever had it, so I ordered the aguachile verde. Super fresh shrimp and really fresh ingredients. The sauce was spicy. Prob right at my personal threshold. I really loved the citrusy acidity of the sauce, which was balanced by the earthiness of the red onion. Just a really delicious fresh dish. I thought the prices were reasonable especially for what I got. Definitely recommend this place and I would love to come back and try some of the other items on the menu.Parking was pretty easy for me especially at lunch on a weekday. I'm not sure how it is on the weekends.“

I have high standards for Mexican food and this place knocked it out the park.I'm from West Covina and every time I come back home here I look for authentic Mexican food. Where do I even start with this place.. Every salsa was delicious. The chips were homemade and salty. The tortillas were handmade too and so so good. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the beans were. Like it made me want to come back and try a bean and cheese burrito lol. “I love this place. Here I am again posting my yummy finds Today I had the eggs ranchero style with beans and Rice!!! My honey had the menudo and we shared it. Their menudo is so delicious. You can tell the menudo is freshly made because it's not salty. The flavor is rich and makes your belly happy. We ordered the fresh cheese with house made flour tortillas. So happy and full. Not blotted just satisfied!! Yum!!!“
“A small Mariscos/ seafood restaurant located in an unassuming strip mall on the border of La Puente/ City of Industry. I'm not sure if it's gonna change, but as of 9/23, this place is only open Fri - Sun. Kind a hard to spot from the outside or driving by but once you get in this place is a clean, cozy mom-and-pop style restaurant. The folks here are always friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and fresh and really, really reasonable in terms of pricing. I've been here three times now as I'm writing this and I think it's one of my new favorite spots. Since it is only open on Friday through the weekend, I only have been here for Friday lunches. The food: Dorados de camaron taco - my go to. Had at least one on all my visits. Perfectly fried, crisp on the outside, and a plump / good amount filling in the middle. It might rival another place that's famous in Los Angeles for fried shrimp tacos. And also, am I crazy to think that this reminds me of some shrimp Vietnamese egg rolls I've had? I just love this item so much. Ceviche tostada - super fresh with a clean flavor and generous amount of topping with avocado. Filete empanizado / pescado estilo Ensenada tacos - i'm a big fan of both these tacos as well. Just a big serving of perfectly fried fish with delicious toppings. Coctel de camaron - really reasonable pricing for a good amount of delicious fresh shrimp in a not too spicy cocktail sauce. Overall, I just really like this place. I like everything about it. It's one of those places where I feel like I'm the only non-native Spanish-speaking person that comes in which I feel like is a sign for a good time. Especially with the music.“

“Been coming here sine 2012 and their chicken is by far the best I've tried no recipe changes since and everything is just as good. They are my go to for catering my daughters birthday parties. Everyone always ends up asking me where did I buy the chicken from. The family running the business here is always welcoming and always accommodating. I live far now but each time i come to La Puente I always make sure to leave with some Juan's Rotisserie Pollo.“

I actually would think this place is more 3 1/2 stars but I'm rounding up because Unless a place really deserves it I don't wanna ding the score of a mom / pop type place. Also, I ordered a plate here which might not be their specialty. They look to be more of a bakery, so maybe their breads are better or their sandwiches? I'm not sure. Come in order at the counter and have a seat and they bring you the food from what I remember. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful.I thought the prices I first looked a little high, but you seriously get so much food. I ordered two tostadas and a taco. I seriously can. I have just one tostada as was loaded with fresh ceviche. The flavors here are really good and everything tastes fresh. Inside, there is a counter, but almost feels like a deli. At this counter, you can order some fresh ceviche or other goodies. If you are just looking for a quick spot where he had delicious, fresh mariscos, then I think you have found a good spot. “Love the food here. Tijuana/Rosarito style asada (closest you get without driving across the border). Everything is made fresh even the salsa. The prices are fair, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy and there are no public restrooms. So maybe just get your food to go but you got to try it. I have been to all the mexican food places in town and for taste this is my favorite. I love the Carne Asada Burrito and the Asada quesadillas.“

“We stopped by on Saturday night on our way home back to Rancho Cucamonga. We ordered four tacos and one burrito. The only way that I can describe the food is that it was mind-blowing delicious. The hard shell tacos were perfectly made and full of clean and non fathy delicious meat. Our Burrito was large and meaty and fully flavored.
