“First visit ever. Was a little lost upon entering. 10 people standing around, but none at the counter. Didn’t know who was in line. I watched for a minute or two. No staff made eye contact with me, but occasionally a name was called out, and someone would walk up and get their order. Turned out they’d ALL already ordered. I started trying to figure out their menu. Watched it flash thru several times, while trying to find what I knew I already wanted (a dozen large). Never saw it, and no staff member had still made eye contact with me, though all were busy. Finally figured out I needed to step up to a small kiosk screen at the counter and place my own order (next time will try the app). Ultimately got my order placed (nice system at the kiosk), and order came quickly. Cookies were great and well received by all.“

This place is an absolute bakersfield staple. Not only do they have great ice cream but the chili is also delicious.“

“The chews are one of my wife's favorite treats. Particularly the peanut butter chews, and the pistachio chews are her second favorite. The ice cream is wonderful. The strawberry flavor is on par with the best strawberry ice cream I've ever had (Alden's Organic).
The setting is fun and my young kids love sitting at the ice cream bar. I recommend this place.“

Very affordable and good for the whole family, although the dining area is 2 people to a table and a little small but that isn't the biggest deal since there is one long booth across the wall. Parking is very nice close to it but it is a little small due to it being in a small restaurant center“

“Came into the shop today for a family dessert to-go, got 3 churros (oreo, mazapan and original); all were delicious. The deep fried Oreos were also so tasty. While the music was a little loud for our taste, it was overall a great experience and we will be returning and letting our friends know about this great little shop!“

“I went last night for the first time to get treats for my family , I walked out with 4 paletas , a corn in a cup , chocobanano, and two scoops of vanilla ice cream 🍨 🙂 Everything was delicious 😋 my family enjoyed everything! The girls working their were very nice and patient 🙂 totally recommend! As as far a language barrier ... I’m bilingual so I had no issues , but I did see their was a girl there speaking in English ! Don’t let other peoples negative comments stop you from coming here if you don’t know Spanish !“

Oh, and their carrot shake was amazing! You can't beat the prices for the value you're getting. I have to mention, I love me some in-n-out protein style burgers, but the JB salad definitely made me feel like I've been wasting my time with In-n-out.
