I've passed by this place a few times without noticing it, which is a shame because it really is a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner. Their sushi and sashimi are all fresh and expertly prepared. Their miso soup is much better than I've had elsewhere. The decor is simple but elegant with a more upscale feel than many of the lunch spots downtown. I have been a big Toro fan since they were at Market place. This is the second time I'm visiting the L street location. Guess what? Omakase time!10 courses of chef's choice, best possible ingredients prepared with the utmost care.Course 1, sashimi. Toro was featured prominently. Every single cut was premium.
