“I visited this location during happy hour and had an amazing experience! Our waiter was incredible he taught us how to open the Dungeness crab + provided top tier service. This restaurant is a gem. The food was fresh and the restaurant was clean.“

“We had a great time at Gritz N’ Wafflez! The vibe was like home. We live in the south so we love grits. They were creamy and delicious. The drinks were fresh and refreshing. The chicken was seasoned and tasty. I loved the music. It was like being in your kitchen waiting on hot breakfast to be done on a Saturday morning.“

“I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!! As someone who loves boiling crab and has been to several places and leaves disappointed every time! This is by far the best alternative!!! The flavor is delicious we went with a party of 9 and the service was amazing! We got a lot of food and everything came out hot and all together!! We tried something new noodles in our bad and it was delicious!! The ambiance is good to not too loud!! I think we have found our new Favorite seafood boil place!! “Always good, thin rice surrounding the roll is a good sign of a good sushi roll, fish always fresh and melts in your mouth...I'm a big Wasabi user and they provided two different types for me to try, the lumpy almost salsa looking kind was so good, just spread on roll and eat, the other was what you'd normally find... it was good.Parking: Plenty right in front, never had a problem finding a spot“

“Great Pan Roast. The dining room has 40 seats, a bar, or sit at the chefs counter to watch the steam kettle chefs cook your food without having to go to a Palace train station in Vegas. Plus, we didn't have a wait on Sunday at 3pm.Parking: Plenty of parking, plus there's an underground lot.“

“The shrimp with sausage was amazing the waitress convinced me to buy a margarita and it was delicious as well. The servers are so polite and nice I would 100% recommend this place can be a little bit pricey, but that’s expected with seafood but it’s worth the money.“

“The food was absolutely amazing. I got the brisket po'boy and my wife got the surf'n'turf po'boy. We were greeted by Norwood and he explained everything about the menu and their service philosophy. The environment was so friendly and the food was better than anticipated. I can't believe the po'boys were only $13. You gotta try this!!“

“I moved her about a week ago and Uncle John's was one of the first places I stopped at and I now have to look no further for anything else. I get coffee here every day and have had two of their lunch boxes (today was bbq pork w sesame cold noodles, minus a few bites I took before the photo) for only $8 and what great portions and quality they give you. The place is always filled with people eating and talking, customer service is the best. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!“

“Great good, amazing service, and nice combo deals. My husband and friends ordered cajun fries, garlic noodles, and their combo deal. We ordered the Captain Combo at level 2 spice as the full house seasoning. It had crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, and mussels. Everything was well seasonsed. It was enough for the 4 of us. For drinks, they have a solid selection of soju, seltzer, and beer. I saw that they have beer deals. They have the option of head-on shrimp and peeled and deveined shrimps. There's plenty of free parking in the plaza. There's also plenty of seating for small or big groups.“

“My family had an amazing time eating here for the first time. The food was delicious; no issues there. The service was great; very friendly. Unfortunately, we had three servers in the span of two hours and no one explained each bag we were purchasing was by pound/weight. We thought it would be pieces of lobster and crab but we received a whole lobster and crab. We felt embarrassed to return the food because all server's were very nice but we do not believe any of them explained the portions to us correctly. We expect the bill to be hefty but about four bills at Boiling Crab?“

“Food is so full of flavor and absolutely delicious! Combo #2 was perfect for three. We enjoyed the crab, shrimp and clams very much and the tray also came with a bit of corn, potatoes and sausage. Everything was fantastic and the service was very friendly and quick. It's a very simple, small restaurant with great food and service.“

“We have gone to pretty much all Crab Shack locations in the local area, my daughter wanted crab shack and we stoped by since we were closest to this location. I have to say the food here was delicious!! We ordered a special they have 2 pounds of shrimp and 1 pound of muscles, mild crab shack style. The shrimp were cooked perfectly they were plump not over cooked and were easy to peel. The Waitress we had when we ordered was ok she took our order but whenever we needed anything she was no where to be found. It's not like it was busy there was only one other table occupied. Mid way through our meal she either went home or went on break cause we never saw her again which was fine cause the second waitress was readily available and checked on us a few times. The only thing about this place that we didn't like is the booths they're super uncomfortable, the cushion on them was very thin and you could feel the wood planks underneath. They also weren't bolted down so they were moving a bit, oh and the table height to the booth seats was alittle awkward too. Maybe next time we will sit at a table with chairs“

“Never disappoints. Always super delicious. Fast and efficient service every time. We come for their Cajun shrimp and crab legs. Don’t forget to try their fried rice! The atmosphere is a little quiet but the food and service make the experience so worth it.“

“Mlem Mlem is slang for how delicious in Vietnamese and I can tell you we had a delicious time dipping everything in the Mlem Mlem Crab Sauce! Mlem Mlem Crab sauce is a combination of their Cajun Butter + Lemon Pepper + Garlic Butter! It does cost to get a side of it but it's so worth it!!! What did we order? - Crispy Chicken Wings - Soft Shell Crab Po'Boy Sandwich - 1lb Seafood Lunch Combo : 1 lb Seafood (half shrimp & clams) + Sausage + Corn + Potatoes and Choice of Sauce What impressed me the most was the Soft Shell Crab Po'Boy Sandwich which includes 2 whole soft shell crabs. Most places will give you one and slice it in half but Mlem Mlem Crab gives you TWO!!! It's perfectly battered fried in between crusty baguette with Cajun mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. It's so Mlem Mlem (DELICIOUS!) that you can't stop eating it! It is super filling and satisfying. Loved every single bite and I am okay with getting a bit messy with this Po'Boy. I heard from the restaurant that the Crispy Shrimp Po'Boy is also another customer favorite.“

Best time to go before things really get jumping on a Saturday is about 4/4:30pm. After that you will blink and see half the place start to fill up. When I came in I was greeted, and ask to hang out for my table to be prepped. Just a few minutes and away we go. The customer service by far is a 10 double ++ for those of you who are not used to being tended too, asking if you need anything during your time at an eating establishment you are in for a treat. The host, server, etc were very sweet and sincere. To the food.....I'm sorry my tastebuds just had a flashback. Where do I start? The flavors were bold and complimented one another something fierce, I had a Brazilian Carnival going on in my mouth. We started with the Edamames with a cajun seasoning. I was stuck here a while, even when our food came i was still going through them. Next was the curry. The yellow curry was rich, smooth with chunky potato and big juicy shrimps. I poured this delectable treat over my seafood fried rice which sent me to another dimension of tastebud euphoria. The class, mussels, shrimp, crab was just mmmmm mmm. Finally we had the Pad See Ew Combo with flat noodles, Broccoli and egg yummy. I mixed this in with the yellow curry, can somebody give me a ride home because I feel a food coma coming. Absolutely loved every dish presented, this hidden gem is a golden nugget. I wish them much success, blessings and favor to the employees and management of this establishment in Jesus name for your work shall not be in vain. May your fruits continue to bear in and out of season.“

“Had recently visited New Orleans and needed something in the SoCal area to scratch that itch. Had the seafood gumbo and a shrimp po'boy with mac and cheese. The owner was lovely and incredibly nice. Food did take a bit of time but so worth it. The shrimp in the po'boy was well seasoned and had amazing flavor. The gumbo was phenomenal as well, packed with everything you'd expect giving you a nice warm fuzzy feeling after eating it. Mac and cheese was great too, rich in flavor. Will drive up from OC to eat here again soon.“

“I was missing New Orleans today, so I headed to Google to see if I could find a place that served po boys. Being from Houston, I was skeptical that there'd be any good options this far west. I was wrong. The fried shrimp po boy has my seal of approval. The breading, seasoning and flavor is excellent. Just the right texture and crispiness. The bread and fix-ins--also great. It's all right up there with Parkway and the other NOLA mainstays. The interior is on point. Definitely felt like I was back in the Gulf Coast. I'll for sure be coming back to try more of the menu.“

We got 2 of the many specials offered : half shrimp half crab with garlic butter and the combo #1 with kicking sauce - has choice of 3: shrimp, clams , mussels or crawfish. Both specials include potatoes, sausage and corn. We also got sides of Cajun fries and rice - one serving is about two cups packed steamed rice. I brought my own latex free gloves because you just need to use your hands to enjoy the food!They do offer bibs and their own food grade but very thin gloves. The tables are covered with waxed paper for quick clean ups. We enjoyed our meal , plus thanks to the waitress for snapping pictures of us together!Pretty quiet, many tables were ordering specials, our group of five had just a tiny bit leftover food.“

My only issue would be that the host clustered all of the guests on one side of the restaurant and when i respectfully requested a booth instead of a table in-between two other familys she seems annoyed. “Fish (4) Shrimp (8) & chips. Very tasty. Crunch held up to the ride from the store to our dinner destination. Also had a side of corn on the cob. Possibly previously frozen, but was also quite good. We will come again. Oh this is located inside a small market. Very nice and friendly gentlemen that attended to us.“
