“Don't live close any more, but I drove 140 miles to see if they are still great. Answer: yes! The way they treat you, it feels like "welcome home". Had an omelet full of New Orleans flavors. Left full and happy. 5 stars all the way!“
“The shrimp with sausage was amazing the waitress convinced me to buy a margarita and it was delicious as well. The servers are so polite and nice I would 100% recommend this place can be a little bit pricey, but that’s expected with seafood but it’s worth the money.“
“I had no idea how this worked when I went, but the food tasted great. You will get your food marinated in a bag and you have to peel the food on your own. They give you a bin and gloves. Very reasonable prices and attentive service, I would come here again.“
“The food never disappoints!! I've been going once a week since finding out about this place! The food and price you pay no one can beat it! The service is great too they get you in and out for to go order. And if u do place a to go order online and place it on their website!“
“First time visiting this restaurant, arrived at opening time on a Sunday. No crowd. We were seated quickly, The server took time to explain to us the menu items. We ordered several items to share including gumbo, shabang bang shrimp, fried catfish, and a sea food boil. All were tasty my favorite was the shabang bang shrimp I'm a spicy girl so the hotter the better so I chose can't feel your mouth, truly wasn't that hot but great flavor. The prices were very reasonable $100 for all that. We were lucky to find parking on the street, however they do offer parking and validation. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“I moved her about a week ago and Uncle John's was one of the first places I stopped at and I now have to look no further for anything else. I get coffee here every day and have had two of their lunch boxes (today was bbq pork w sesame cold noodles, minus a few bites I took before the photo) for only $8 and what great portions and quality they give you. The place is always filled with people eating and talking, customer service is the best. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!“
“First time here, but I'll be back! Inside is elegant and comfy with a full bar. Tried the jambalaya—amazing sausage! Opted for the po boy, delicious! Their IPA was refreshing. Harold and Belle's is a must-visit for locals and tourists!“
“Don’t know if it’s authentic but it is delicious. We orderedgochujang sauce chicken wingsStirfried kimchi pork w/ steamed tofuWings were crunchy outside and soft inside. Just the way it should be. Everything just melted in your mouth.Kimchi pork was something new we tried. Not spicy but still flavourful.Would definitely visit again. Also, the valet guy outside is a scam and people who work here at Louders saved us and got the car from that valet guy.“
“This is a casual, plain looking, decent size restaurant. It has a very small and inadequate parking area on site, but there is street parking available. The service is average and unhurried. The prices are moderate and its kind of a nice, informal place to go. The Fish and Chips was exceptional. The clams are served in large plastic bag with lots of garlic butter. They're small but its a good portion. They were out of several things including lobster and oysters. The garlic noodles side dish was tasty, cooked perfectly and was excellent. The restaurant's decor is very much like a typical New England shoreline (non-tourist) local restaurant with tables, a brick wall, standard decor. It was plain and comfortable. I might suggest that you look at the menu online before going and call to see what they're out of. All in all, it was a very good experience and is definitely recommended. We'll be back. Merritt Weisinger Sparks, NV“
“Ordered fresh oysters. They were nice but so small in size. Never had oysters that small. It's like a quarter sized coin. Ordered the crab but was not told it was a frozen crab. The texture was not very nice. Crab was charged as such though. Also, I ordered clams, shrimp, eggs, potatoes, and the calendar fries. All were as expected but the clams were very nice and large. Last comment is the spice level. Seems Westwood' XXX is different than Rosemead's XXX. Westwood XXX is not spicy at ?“
“Stevie’s should be highly recommended by anyone who’s ever been there. The menu selection is as large as the itis that’s gone getchu after trying to walk away from the table. My only advice is to look at the menu before you go to save you and your partyparty some time. The menu is vast, and you won’t be able to choose just one thing, but understand if you have to!“
“Food so good I wanted to slap someone.Tried the fried shrimp po’boy, half order muffuletta sandwich and the craw-Mac. it was a bit expensive but with seafood you have to expect that. It was a lot of food, shareable. the inside is pretty big but parking is wack, but that’s LA. This place is worth the try. walking distance from the Metro/union station.“
“Had recently visited New Orleans and needed something in the SoCal area to scratch that itch. Had the seafood gumbo and a shrimp po'boy with mac and cheese. The owner was lovely and incredibly nice. Food did take a bit of time but so worth it. The shrimp in the po'boy was well seasoned and had amazing flavor. The gumbo was phenomenal as well, packed with everything you'd expect giving you a nice warm fuzzy feeling after eating it. Mac and cheese was great too, rich in flavor. Will drive up from OC to eat here again soon.“
“This is the hoodest spot ever to go stand in a haphazard covid line for some chicken and fried rice but yes we will travel like it's 1999 to go get it!! We have had everything on the menu including accidentally eating the wrapper trying to get to the last french fry at the bottom of a Lawd help me greasy bag and I must say this place is blessed and anointed with the gift of keep it coming!!!“
“This is my first time eating seafood boil at a restaurant and I had a great experience here! Luis was our host and he was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I ordered the shrimp (head on) and snow crab with daddy sauce and medium spice (I didn't feel that it was spicy, but perhaps that is just my tolerance). Would definitely recommend to friends.“
“I frequent this place quite a bit and love it! Bill is our favorite server when we dine-in. We call him Mr. Bill. He is always friendly. The food is awesome. At least the crab leg seafood boil is. That’s all I get and my friend likes the crawfish. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. This past weekend I ordered take-out. The young lady who took the Oder over the phone was kind as well as the young lady when I picked it up. Always a great experience.Parking: Huge parking lot shared with other establishments“
“Elly is the perfect host for Oh mlMyMy Crab. She answered all my questions and helped guide me through the menu before I even sat down.I enjoyed the Jambalaya so much I nearly ate the bowl.Lunch was tied off with a nice and sweet bow.... FUNNEL CAKE FRIES!!you'll have to see for yourselfEnjoy Oh My CrabI sure did!!Sure beats eating out of the dumpster after closing. But when it's good from the trash......well you know it's a cut above the rest!!I'm currently in between homes and this was the best hot meal I have had in as far back as I can remember. If it wasn't for Elly I would not have stayed in the first place.bElly deserves a raise....or two.SincerelyA happy camper“
“Good service and you can split a combo if you're on a budget. If you're not good with spicy make sure to get mild or less because it has a kick to it. Cute atmosphere. They give you little bibs and over the table cause it's messy. You might want to uber over because parking is difficult over here even when it's not busy. All the food we tried tasted good. Clams had a little grit but otherwise good food.Parking: Good luck finding a spot“
“The customer service is the best they even offered me free rice maybe cause of my look yuh never know And the food is good but if we comparing it to like boiling crab or kickin crab i mean come on but the food is still good especially so i really consider eating here. Yesssahhhh.“
“We had a great time at Gritz N’ Wafflez! The vibe was like home. We live in the south so we love grits. They were creamy and delicious. The drinks were fresh and refreshing. The chicken was seasoned and tasty. I loved the music. It was like being in your kitchen waiting on hot breakfast to be done on a Saturday morning.“
