“What brings me back despite the little annoyances is their food is SO GOOD! Their drive thru is frequently so jammed up, worse than a godawful L.A. DMV line of people. Yet, except for Carlos the Curmudgeon, all employees have been very sweet. I don't know how they are, since they have to deal with these ridiculously ginormous freaking zillion pieces chicken orders. Damn South Gate....so many people eating all this damn chicken so much that simple folk like me who want a lil chicken have to wait 20 minutes for two pieces. I wouldn't be surprised if on Saturday nights they have live chickens in the back and killing them cuz they run out of dead ones. Poor chickens. Poor me dealing with one homeless guy asking for shxt, and another homeless dude tweaking so hard he's sweating and babbling about Justin Beaver on Instagram. Oh well a Mariachi guy in a breathtakingly beautiful costume came in. And cashier ANGEL was literally an angel to me.“
“Best Chicken I ever done did have, chicken is juicy, the spice is out of the world, and when they say hot, they mean HOT! The staff was also the nicest I've ever talked to, asking me if I was sure I wanted the x-hot. They even gave a sampler to show me what's up! They also gave me a lil somethin extra, and they're overall the nicest staff I've ever had the pleasure of talking to! 11/10 would recommend!“
“As a Filipino, I love the different concepts they have with different Filipino dishes. We started off with the beef tartar and pork belly sisig. All I could say was w o w. Beef tartar was amazing and I've never had a garlic sky flake before. The flavors complimented perfectly. I'm not usually a pork person, but their sisig was cooked to perfection! So much flavor and had the perfect crisp. For our main dish we had the chicken inasal. The chicken was sooo tender and fell right off the bone! We also ordered each one of their sauces and I can't even pick out my favorite. They all had their own unique flavor. I'm already thinking about my next visit at this restaurant. The ambience, the service, and the food are all 10/10. Highly recommend!!“
“I got the fish sandwich with the upgraded caviar tartar sauce. It came with French fries and Daybird sauce...it was good. I am not sure the caviar is worth the price point. The filet was cooked perfectly and went well with the potato roll. I would definitely eat there again if I lived in the area.“
“I ordered the 2 piece combo you get 1 side and choice of role or some type of sweet bread with powdered sugar. I opted for the roll and spicy rice. It was truly delicious, hot and reasonably priced. The rice was cooked to perfection and spicy good with chicken in it. The only thing is a lady in a wheelchair was in there begging for money. These establishments need to run them out.“
“This is our go to spot for yummy comfort food. My family enjoyed the Nashville chicken tacos, burger, brisket taco, and pretzel bites. The location was clean and had a nice energy. I appreciate the staff especially Caitlyn & Judith who were nice and helpful.“

“You're walking into a time capsule or something from the 90s. They've managed to leave the restaurant looking classy inside. Their chicken and meals have never lost their flavor. What a shame theirs only few spots left, I personally liked pioneer over kfc... yes, their chicken is pre-cooked and sitting under heat lamps and extremely hot when you get it, but crispy and not too oily how chicken should taste. Fish and chips basket were decent also.“
