“Hidden gem for Mexican food. Walking in I thought this place was a typical bar; tv screens and loud music. It was a bar, plus more! When the Micheladas arrived in large cups I knew we were in for something special. Our appetizers arrived- empanadas and tacos enchilados, they weren't skimping on the meat. Next the molcajete filled with ceviche and the camarones pacifico, I've never seen shrimp that large. If your a seafood lover you've got to try this place. The service was good and the food packed a punch of favor. We will be coming back!!!“
“I was a frequent customer, but I don't buy there anymore, because they are very expensive. Also, the chicken pieces are small, which look similar to a pigeon size..Also the portions are smaller, e.g. biscuits, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw. Before the pandemic the chicken pieces were much bigger, including the sides. I would like to add that the Cole slaw has a lot of milk, to make it look like there is much food on the plastic container, where it is served..“
“This place is nothing like it was a year ago. Under new management makes a difference. I stop by here almost everyday for lunch. It's fast friendly service. Evry time I get to the window there is always one person charging and packing and giving out order these people work to hard to give exceptional fast service they deserve to have at least one more to help them. “Many who dine out know about the chicken sandwich craze which spread across the nation several years ago. From gourmet style to fast-food many eateries jumped in to offer their take. Le Coupe is no sleeper and from what I experienced ranks in the top of fried chicken with a twist. Many rave about Memphis style chicken and they should but Le Coupe uses its Louisiana Cajun heritage to make it a "must stop." Their sandwich is exceptional. If you're looking for basic fried chicken, this is NOT YOUR SPOT. Instead you will be treated to fried chicken drenched in a tasty hot, honey style sauce that is the perfect complement. The quality of the sandwich shines as while the chicken is superbly prepared, the bun, the slaw, the pickles take it to a new level. Some might raise an eyebrow over the $15 cost but again, this a'int fast food as you get what you pay for. Moving on, the rib of corn is so basic it's hilarious to mention. But, boy have they hit it out of the park with this appetizer. Ribs of corn are drenched in a mayonnaise chili sauce that makes it a very addictive dish. For $11, worth the experience. The potato salad (made with red potatoes) is fresh made (like the other items), very tasty and a nice presentation by being topped off with fresh chives. The drinks are another hit. Everything is freshly made. The lemonade was tasty and you could taste the quality. Again, at $6, you get what you pay for. LeCoupe is a tiny venue but cozy enough for several chairs, as well as a few outside. Everything is made from scratch but your order comes at a quick pace. Western and Melrose is a busy intersection, so the parking on Western can be tight so you will need some patience or street-smarts. Le Coupe has earned my business so if you're having the taste for some uniquely fried chicken (thighs or tenders) you can't go wrong with them. Price points may appear high but worth it based on the quality your receive.“

This is possibly the best meal I have had in years ( and that is really saying a lot). Each course was a beautiful dance. Each dish had their own very distinct personality, yet the transition between dishes was absolutely harmonious. “We ordered the hot chicken sandwich & hot tenders with fries and the elder flower lemonade. I like spicy, so i ordered the hot & wow, it was extraordinary. The burn is bold but also very nuanced & complex. To my delight, it was so spicy, I had to space out my consumption of it over a couple of days. The great news is, it still tasted great cold the next day. That pillowy bun held up & that beautiful fresh slaw was still crisp. The tenders were a similar ride, but seemed like it had a different breading, less battery than the sandwich, but worked great, totally tasty. This place has great chicken, hands down impressive. The fries were just okay, but that's not really why you're going to this place. Point of personal preference, I always want cold standard ranch when I'm enjoying hot chicken to cool things off. Both ranch like offerings from Day Bird (daybird sauce & jabanero ranch) contain a fair amount of hot pepper as well, so they don't really bail you out in the clutch. Thankfully, as we had to try a bite in the parking lot before we drove home, the elder flower lemonade was also delicious, and helped counter the instant burn. Over loved it. Will bring friends back to enjoy some more soon.“
“I ordered the 2 piece combo you get 1 side and choice of role or some type of sweet bread with powdered sugar. I opted for the roll and spicy rice. It was truly delicious, hot and reasonably priced. The rice was cooked to perfection and spicy good with chicken in it. The only thing is a lady in a wheelchair was in there begging for money. These establishments need to run them out.“
“First time coming here and despite a small mistake on my order, Aldo who attended me as cashier went out of his way to make it right!. There was a young lady working the back kitchen area who also went above and beyond to make sure my party had a great experience overall. I enjoyed the food, taste was on point, ordered a variety of items such as wings, egg n bird sandwich, grilled chicken avocado bowl, Mac salad, and banana dessert. Definitely coming back, staff was professional, and friendly.“
