“Quick and fast taco stands. Now they support the credit card payment. Eric is welcoming and serves the neighborhood very well until the midnight. The protein of stewed pork and the al pastor is nice while I hope they could use corn tortillas instead of the flour ones.“
“If you are a turkey tail fan then get them here. You have to be familiar with eating them or open to trying them once. They're pretty fatty but the flavor and tenderness justifies eating them. The rest of the menu is like a home cooked meal. The bakery is exceptional for its baked goods especially their freshly baked bread. Service is great, with much "aloha".“
“So good!! Food: Amazing. I ordered the assorted yaki gyoza (veggie pork chicken and shrimp) and it was so good I ordered 6 more pork gyoza. Perfectly cooked with a nice crisp to the bottom, amazing flavor, and so juicy. They have different ways to prepare, I think yaki, maybe steam (don't quote me) and in the soup. The soup was also really flavorful and good (and hot haha watch out). They also have a ton of side sauces to choose from, but I love the basic ponzu. Better gyoza than a lot of ramen shops (IMO those usually have too much garlic) and reminded me of great gyoza spots in japan. Price: dude so cheap. I bought food for two people: an assorted bento, an assorted 6 piece, rice, and edamame for around $30. Ambiance: super chill, decent amount of seating, not super loud and can have convos easilyCustomer service: super friendly, explains everything, super cute drawings on the containers, quick as well.I think it's fairly new so business is still trickling in. Hoping they thrive so that I can keep coming back, I'll definitely be craving this again very soon.“
“A really great cafe that has good coffee and sandwiches. My favorite is the maple pecan coffee. So delicious. They also have a lot of vegan options which is nice. The staff is very nice and bring a smile to my face. They go the extra step to give you a good experience.“
“Exceptionally tasty Mexican food with a soulful spin. Generous portions and efficient customer service. My only recommendations would be that since Nik Nak is basically a catering service that has its restaurant open to the public during daylight hours, it should make its hours of operation quite clear on social media sites, along with information about closing earlier than usual at times, based upon their catering schedule. Also, a phone that records messages after-hours is vital to their success with the public.By the way, I don't think "shanika" and "Nyla" whose negative reviews are posted below realize that this company is a catering service that opens its doors during the day to the public. I've ordered twice now over recent months by walking in and have found that the food is exceptionally good and well-seasoned. I have catered myself at times over the past 30 years. The court of public opinion can be harsh, when it doesn't realize the true nature of a business. Expressed to the owner that it be made clear to anyone viewing the business on TikTok or Instagram understand that the restaurant is subject to close without notice late afternoon at any given time, if they have evening catering commitments.Another point to consider: Covid has distorted the taste buds of many people. Could be applicable here with these two reviewer's, and their distaste for the food they ordered. My rating: four stars!“
“Lee's Market in Watts, California, serves up an unforgettable fried chicken experience. The use of fresh grease gives the chicken a crispy exterior and tender interior. Expertly seasoned, the flavors are well-balanced, catering to various preferences. The local charm adds to the overall dining ambiance. In short, Lee's Market is a must-visit for those craving delicious, perfectly fried chicken. Highly recommended! 01/22/22“
“Had recently visited New Orleans and needed something in the SoCal area to scratch that itch. Had the seafood gumbo and a shrimp po'boy with mac and cheese. The owner was lovely and incredibly nice. Food did take a bit of time but so worth it. The shrimp in the po'boy was well seasoned and had amazing flavor. The gumbo was phenomenal as well, packed with everything you'd expect giving you a nice warm fuzzy feeling after eating it. Mac and cheese was great too, rich in flavor. Will drive up from OC to eat here again soon.“
“got the chili cheese fries $13 and the chicken quesadilla $13 and the fries were good and a very large portion as takeout. The problem i had was with the quesadilla as the chicken in it was very salty but im sure if it was made another time without as much salt, it would have been bomb. But it was still pretty good + pico de gallo and guacamole was included !! Great picnic food fr“
“I think this might be one of the most underrated chicken, fast food areas this completely surpassed, in Terms of flavor, quality and quantity. I would definitely say that this is better than canes and even a near restaurant by the name of legends, hot chicken I will definitely come here a lot more and the service was amazing kind, quick and polite.“
