Tan My Food To Go Vietnamese • $

“They make vietnamese pork rolls & headcheese here fresh. I only saw 4 kinds while I was there... 1. Cha Lua plain 2. Cha Lua w/peppers 3. Cha Lua w/bi 4. Gio Thu I paid 7$ each, they were all tasty. I especially love the headcheese, so flavorful & they were generous on the meat portions rather than the fat portions which alot of other places do to sell more quantity for profit. Not this place. And the lady whom worked front counter was very nice and welcoming, they also close at 830pm, which for me can't be more perfect since I get off work at 6pm in Whittier. So I still make it home in time to grab dinner here. The best gio thu in town. Look no further!“

“This the best taco stand in town. My boyfriend and I always order the Al pastor burrito with cheese. I sometimes get the Al pastor tacos, and they usually add pineapples to them. I honestly think it's way better than Leo's Taco Truck.“

“This little hidden gem in Irvine served up some amazing food. Ordering is easy through a kiosk. The food comes out packaged in take out boxes. There are a few tables in the restaurant for eating and some patio chairs outside. We ordered the pork banh mi, garlic noodles and pork belly, Thai tea and lychee lemonade. The banh mi was flavorful and had the perfect amount of meat. The garlic noodles and pork belly was my favorite. The pork was so crunchy yet still juicy. There's a green sauce for your noodles which was absolutely addicting. The Thai tea here was legit, on the level of any boba shop. I definitely recommend Saiga if you have never tried and craving some good Vietnamese food!“

“Pasty Kitchen is One of my All time Favorite places to grab a quick delicious Meal. HOWEVER, I have a problem with a young male employee of Pasty Kitchen who is usually stationed at the order counter. He takes the orders handling dirty cash money and then without washing his hands or using the sanitizer (that is usually sitting on the service counter) he proceeds to prepare the orders and touches the ladle to pour gravy in the small gravy cups, he touches the rim of the cups as he is filling the cups with gravy. if customer orders a cookie, the young man handles the wax paper to acquire the cookie with unwashed hands, and then he proceeds to the pie oven and places the pies in the pie wrapping paper with unwashed hands that he handled filthy cash money with (everyone knows how dirty money is after it has been passed from person to person!) And when I confronted the young man about his unkosher practices he ignored me and acted as if he couldn't care less about what I was saying! So let the buyer beware at Pasty Kitchen!!!“

Thien Loc Food To Go Vietnamese • $
14328 Brookhurst St, Garden Grove - 2.07 miles

“Vietnamese egg rolls, or cha gio, are the best kinds of egg rolls. I might be biased in declaring that since I'm Vietnamese but I find that our egg rolls have better fillings, generously stuffed with protein, and less of the cabbage fillers and things. For my nephew's birthday I was asked me to pick up egg rolls in OC. I was able to call into Thien Loc Food To Go a few days prior to put in my order for 100 Pork Egg Rolls ($70) for 10:30 am. The older gentleman who answered the phone was super friendly and I appreciated that he gave me a reminder that the business is CASH ONLY. He repeated my order and confirmed the information, and everything was correct. On the day of my pick up, I pulled up to the business. They are located in the same plaza as Van's Bakery off Brookhurst. I entered the store and gave them my name and phone number. A nice auntie helped me with my order and she went to the back to grab my order. The 100 egg rolls were neatly organized in disposable trays of 50. She placed foil over the trays with a small opening so that they would stay warm but also had an opening so that steam wouldn't make the egg rolls soggy. Very good technique. The party was over an hour away and yet the egg rolls maintained a crispy freshness. It had good filling and it was a very popular item among the guests. We had sooooooo many other party trays at the party but the egg rolls were definitely the first to "sell out". Yum! Will be back the next time I need more egg rolls for gatherings.“
