“I had the number 2: Tiglog (fried pork) with egg and garlic rice for breakfast, if you like you meat on the sweet side you will love this plate. It was so delicious and plentiful. After the big breakfast I could barely have room for lunch at 2pm.I also ordered the grilled pork on a stick, I was also a little sweet and super tasty. After ordering I have to wait 5-10 minutes before it was ready that means my food was made fresh and hot. Great friendly folks works there.“

“Just tried Thank Que Grill and it was delicious. The location is hard to spot, but don't let that deter you. When you get there, there's tons of parking space, and they have a really lovely shaded outdoor seating area in the back. You can see the care and love that Chef Rene has put into renovating the place. Definitely feeling a good family vibe from behind the counter, got a sample of the juicy chicken before ordering one of their Filipino Bánh mì sandwiches. Make no assumptions, this looks like a Bánh mì, but has a totally distinctive flavor of its own. I didn't get a chance to try the lumpia because I was in a rush but will be heading back (with friends) to try more items.“

“I had a party for my birthday and last minute was gifted some money to get some catering a few days before. I've enjoyed the Lumpia Company for years and they were the immediate choice! We had 4 different flavors, Bacon Cheeseburger, Turkey Veggie, Pork Shrimp Shanghai and Peach Mango. Along with Adobo Wings (spicy and regular) also a large order of Pancit. Everything was great! It was delivered on time and everyone was thrilled. Max who helped me with ordering and invoicing was great. I definitely recommend. 10 out of 10.“

“Oh Sweet Cravings, where have you been all my life! Seriously. We were in town for a family event and had lunch in the area, and my relatives highly recommended this place some after lunch sweets. I'm a huge fan of filipino desserts and this place had such a wonderful selection. They even had espasol which is one of my top favorites and a lot of places don't carry regularly. Let me just say.. it's one of the best versions I've had. I'm kicking myself for not getting more! Other standouts were the calamansi bites (an upgraded version of the lemon bar) and the coffee flan. So delicious.We also tried the sticky bibingka, ube halaya, salted hazelnut silvana, and all of these items were good as well. The staff was very friendly and the shop was very cute and clean. I almost forgot to mention they also have halo halo, turon and many other goodies. You can't go wrong with anything really. I hope to return sooner than later for that espasol.“

“I have to share a post from my favorite restaurant the FOB kitchen in Oakland. Chef Janice’s dishes are incredible. Being a queer person it is great to have a fantastic place to dine and feel safe and excepted. If you are in Oakland you have to try it. My favorite is the adobo and halo halo.“

For those who know, you know.Back to this spot :Lechon is the best I've had in a while. Crispy morsels of pork belly that have that perfect balance of meat, crunch, and rendered fat. Portions are suppose to be more than bite size but it was so good, there's no way you don't eat it whole.Wings are ok. Sauced nicely but the breading is a little heavy.What really caught my attention was the all purpose sauce. To me, it's like a creamy adobo sauce and is crazy delicious. And all purpose doesn't nearly begin to describe what this sauce can be used for. To date, I have yet to find something it doesn't make taste better.Service, for the time being anyway, is pretty good considering it's a shared space.Lastly, the ambiance is at times a sports bar with all the tvs at times but then looks like (from a ton of IG pics) a karaoke party. Either way, fun.Anyways, I look forward to their new location.“

“They are located in the Ferry Building and offer seating both inside and outside with a view of the bay. I recently tried their chicken wings, which were so delicious—I highly recommend them! In general, their food is always delicious, and the service is very good.“

“Gotta give props to Curbside Kitchen and their flavorful Filipinx inspired burgers! Love how they are representing the PI culture and their food truck is conveniently available next to Armistice Brewery, which has great ambiance. Perfect food pairing with beer!The owners are nice and it took about 10 min for them to whip up my signature Curbside burger, which has Tocino (Filipino bacon) and it was absolutely delicious and filling. The beef patty was hot and flavorful, the brioche bun was a nice bite, the pickled veggies gave a nice acid pop to tickle the tastebuds- everything was hot and fresh and the portion was just enough. Will try their lumpia and other items when I'm back - they also do catering with an extended menu!“
