“Fabulous X 3. The food, the music and the atmosphere! I was concerned that the music would be too loud but that was not the case. As a foursome, we could still talk amongst ourselves. I was amazed at the energy level of the staff. They work as fast as is humanly possible! Good job guys! And the music was the best we’ve heard in a long time! What a great discovery in our own neighborhood!“

“The Mongolian beef is excellent! I ordered it medium spicy and it was perfectly medium spicy. While I agree with other reviewers that it had too much onion, that doesn't mean there wasn't enough beef for the price. They just put in a wasteful amount of onion so there's definitely too much onion left over at the end. They should consider putting in less onion. It's also made very hot to go so even with a 15 min drive back after pickup, it was perfectly warm to eat.“

We had a male server that never even introduced himself to us by name at all. He seemed uninterested . He seemed like he hated working there. If we knew his name we’d post it. Cuz that restaurant deserves better than to have a server that hates what they do. In spite of it all we tipped the server over 30% not because he deserved it but because the other staff deserved it.“

“The food was DELICIOUS per usual. I cant get enough of their pate app or fried chicken entree. My wife LOVED the escargot app and wedge salad (for her entree). Only issue was service. To put it succinctly, I should NEVER have a dry drink glass. NEVER.“

“A friend and I stopped in here during a cross-country road trip based on the reviews. At first glance, the menu seemed a little new age as we're meat and potatoes type guys. We actually considered leaving but my buddy asked to taste the sauce for the creamy chicken, creamy rice dish and it was delicious. We would have done ourselves a disservice if we had left. It honestly turned out to be one of the best tasting meals I've ever had in my life. Staff was super friendly, restaurant was clean with nice decor. If you're ever in the area, make sure to check this place out. Dont make the same mistake we almost made. There's a reason this place has 4.8 stars. It's fantastic!“

“Wally's was an unexpected surprise. We anticipated something a little more stodgy but instead experienced classic fine dining with the best food, ambiance and service we've seen in a long time. The Smokey Old Fashioned was perfection with the fun addition of a smoke cap. The hot crisp dinner rolls with European butter are making my mouth water thinking about them! My large salmon portion with lemony sauce and quinoa was cooked perfectly. The filet with horseradish crust and flavorful peppercorn sauce was amazing and the short ribs delivered all the richness and flavor you'd expect from well prepared short ribs. For our special occasion, we brought our own well cellared older bottle of wine which the staff kindly decanted for a reasonable $30 corkage fee. Cherry on top was the grand marnier soufflé + chocolate soufflé combo the staff split for us. A visit from the lovely Maitre D' gave us the feeling that no detail is overlooked at Wally's. A delicious meal and memorable evening. We plan to return soon.“

“I cannot find any better pizza place. I decided to stop by Norma's Italian kitchen to order pizza for dinner. I got a medium sized pepperoni pizza with hand tossed crust. I took it home and it was super delicious. That was the best pizza I ever tasted. I definitely like to go back again.“

“We were looking for crispy tacos and found this gem of a place. The service was fast and friendly at the counter and we appreciated the cleanliness, decor and festive music. The staff were working hard in the kitchen and dining area. Most of all, the tacos we ordered were delicious with fresh ingredients and large serving sizes. We will return when we are in town!“

“Date night reservation made for wonderful evening of special food, service, and conversation. Esther provided my wife and I with a table where we could side side by side, a habit we started when we first started dating. Esther greeted us and provided us with our menus. A wonderful selection of favorites and a bonus menu featuring a restaurant week special. We then met our our waiter, Edgar, for the early evening meal, and he had water and delicious bread, liver pate, and buttter brought to us. We ordered a vesper martini and titos and cranberry juice. We were in the early diners setting and did some people watching while we perused the many options for dinner. The quiet confidence of those working and the efficiency at what they did gave the ongoing activity the look of a well coached sports team. The pictures on the wall, the table setting, and even the tables put your mind in a French cafe state of mind. I ordered the escargot, the veal pot roast and the chocolate mousse, and my wife had the sand dabs, ceasar salad, and warm rice pudding. Edgar allowed me to change my side from au gratin potatoes to their homemade fettuccine. Every taste, bite, and swallow was savored with the anticipation of the next. Short of licking the plate, none was left to be scraped with a knive off the plate. It was a wonderful hour and 45 minutes in a cool and welcoming atmosphere. Although it was our first visit, we were treated as one of the many who were regulars. We were so impressed that we purchased a gift certificate for our son and his wife on his birthday.“

“Literally a quaint Little Bar in the heart of Palm Desert. Great drinks and a welcoming atmosphere with a down home menu. A touch of the LA music scene is the desert. The burgers are awesome!“

“We really enjoyed our dinner here. Gina, our server, was the best we have had at any restaurant in a long time! It was later in the evening and she had lots of energy and made really good food and wine recommendations. The food was delicious - we had the Grilled Prime Bavette Steak Frites Au Poivre, the Slow Braised Prime Beef Short Rib Bourguignon and the Salmon dish. Gina had many wine suggestions in all different price categories. Their wine list was extensive. The bread was very good and warm. We sadly did not have room for dessert but will try next time we are in the desert. The only thing they could have improved on, is that they are not kidding when they said it was a "Baby Wedge" salad. The salad was small. I normally split a normal size wedge salad, but this one is not shareable. They could add a little more lettuce and make it bigger.“

(Bonus: there's a Comic Book shop just across the parking lot).“
