“This place is always lit! Now, I may be biased because of how long I have been going to this place (since it opened) and all the good times we've had there but I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the food, and the music. People out doing what people do, having a blast and Romescos providing a great spot for it. They also have an amazing breakfast. If you're out at the tapas bar with the music on Saturday, come back on Sunday and hit up the brunch. Always good food.“
“Updating my review as I fondly remember my visit here more than a year ago. Best restaurant I've ever been to. Got a table by the kitchen and the chef working there was wonderful to talk to. Top notch service, amazing staff. I've never had a better culinary experience. Hope to return here soon.“
“The menu isnt extensive but has classic pasta and starter dishes. We started with the classica bruscetta and buschetta prosciutto & fichi, and the classica bruschetta was my favorite. The freshness of the tomatoes and flavor of the pesto was impeccable. We tried the cheese wheel pasta that comes with special pasta of the day (gnocchi with mushrooms and truffle) tossed in a cheese wheel and served in a pan. It was on the heavier, creamier and cheesier side and i would recommend it for those who are looking for a ooey gooey dish of pasta. Our server recommended the stuffed lobster and shrimp tortelli pasta. The sauce is creamy (but not as creamy as the cheese wheel pasta) and is made with tomatoes. The dish is topped with a big ball of burrata. We tried the espresso martini and cosmopolitan. The espresso martini had more of a strong coffee than bold liquor flavor, but the cosmopolitan was a little sweet and boozy. Overall, it was a solid meal and be prepared for a food coma afterwards. The interior is beautiful with wine bottles, paintings and pictures hanging on the wall. Street parking is the way to go. Our server was friendly, and the portions are generous for its price point.“
“Amazing little restaurant tucked away in the Horton Plaza. There isn’t anything negative to say! Everything from the atmosphere, food menu and most importantly, the service was amazing!! Highly recommended as a must visit if you are vacationing or simply passing through the area to a must if you live or frequent the area. Menu had simple selections and everything from the appetizers to entrees were perfectly timed. My only wish is to be able to bring it to the East coast! We will be back ❤️.“
“I cannot begin to say how amazing my experience was here. Biz, Emmy and the other person working (so sorry for spelling and names it was quite loud) on march 13th were absolutely amazing biz and his cocktail knowledge was impeccable. I came here solo with some anxiety and I was immediately felt at home. Later into the night they continued to provide amazing service and recommendations for other areas in San Diego. I'm visiting from Seattle and they definitely made my entire trip!“
“Great place with extensive wine options at reasonable price point, and amazing staff. Cute place with great food! Love the staff, everyone is attentive, friendly, and even when busy they are so accomodating. Food is great and they have specials from 4-5pm every day! Wine list is so long, and they offer a great deal if you want to try a flight. Sommelier is excellent at recommending things. Only one restroom, unisex/shared so don't wait till the last second! Parking in back, two spots in front and on street.“
“Definitely make a reservation. Totally hip place. Great service. Food is OK. Sadly, the swordfish was not tasty at all. In fact, it was very watery. Definitely not five star tries to be a little too Fancy and a little too much seasoning. And a whole lot of smoky of everything. Cocktails are incredible. Bartender was so good. Decor is just basic. But it’s a very busy place with a really nice little patio out front.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly based on menu and Quaintance of the restaurant maybe at lunchtime it is but not for dinner“
“I came to this restaurant base off the reviews, they did not fail me. This restaurant has amazing service, my waiter talked to us about the whole menu, had conversation with us and even explained things. The food is full of flavor and you cannot go wrong with anything you get. The environment is clam, chill and relaxing. Definitely would bring all my friends here.“
“Enjoying brunch outside at Feast and Fareway. This is our 2nd visit on our Cornado trip. Today we had the French toast and pancake sampler as well as the blue crab Benedict. So yummy and we will return! Savannah is an excellent server as well! The view is amazing with the bay and the bridge and right on the golf course. The mood is very laid back - we feel super comfortable here! Just relax and enjoy a good meal!“
“I ordered it online and they were quick to complete my order. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and kids chicken quesadilla. The food was great. In regards to the pizza, the crust was thin just like I like it. The sauce was flavorful, and there was enough pepperoni on it. That's for the quesadillas. There were three Chicken quesadillas. I asked for only Monterey Jack cheese on it because they put both of them according to what I read, and they followed the instructions completely. I appreciate that because my great niece does not like the orange cheese as she calls it lol.“
“Great place for artisan tapas and curated wine PLUS killer happy hour till 6 even on Saturday. Their mango lychee sangria is amazing! Their take on traditional tapas was also quite refreshing - like the date hummus and the spicy aioli papas. Jason our waiter was super nice as well.“
“Small neighborhood sushi spot with great sushi and sake! The sake specials are something to definitely take advantage of! Unfortunately the bang bang corn was not in season during my most recent visit, but we’ll be back in no time. It would be best to call for a reservation, as they do get busy.Parking: Parking sports in front of restaurant and neighborhood parking.“
“It had been a while since I’d been cuz it was always too busy and we didn’t want to wait in line the night we wanted ramen. So, we were happy when we decided to try again on a weeknight and we got a table. The only bummer is the ramen was not nearly as good as it used to be. The shishito peppers were fantastic.“
“The neighborood spot I never knew I needed. We will definitely come back. We ordered the CHIPS AND DIP*: Potato Chips, Sea Salt, Caviar, Crème Fraiche, Chives, this was chef’s kiss. We also ordered,- “THE DANDY”: Red Sauce, Oiled Cured Tomatoes, Cheese Blend, Calabresse, Crispy Prosciutto and it was delicious.Bl Be sure to leave room for dessert- GOOEY BROWNIE*: Chocolate Chip Brownie, Crème Fraiche Gelato, Butterscotch Sauce,Candied Pecans is to die for!! Enjoy!!“
“What a fabulous place for a night out on the town to meet new people or creating memories with friends and family. You won't be disappointed. This place has class and sophistication with live music and Happy Hour nightly. Since this was our third time dining/drinking here this week, we thought we would share the love and invite one of our favorite couples to happy hour. The GM, Rudy was very hospitable and Gabz produced some delectable cocktails. The food was A-MAZ-ING!! We ordered the Chicken Flautas served with a tasty mole sauce, Pork Belly Tacos, Spicy Wings, Beet Hummus & Crudite Plate. For dessert and the pièce de résistance we ordered the chocolate cake. This was truly an overall excellent experience and we'll be back as often as we can!“
“Enjoyed the substantial cocktail menu and that their happy hour deals are every day of the week. My cocktails were well balanced and served in lovely drink ware. You can tell the bartender knows what they're doing. Very few people on a Sunday afternoon, but a great spot with various seating options (inside / outside, bar / big table / small table) making it a solid choice for most occasion. Didn't try the food this time.“
“During a recent business trip, I stumbled upon Brigantine while searching for nearby dining options. Situated conveniently close to my hotel, I was intrigued by the menu offerings. What started as a casual dinner plan turned into a delightful two-night dining experience. On the first night, I savored the grilled swordfish tacos, which were nothing short of fantastic. The fish was impeccably cooked and harmonized beautifully with the fresh ingredients and flavorful sauce in the taco.Returning the following evening, I indulged in the miso glazed grilled salmon, resting on a bed of sautéed veggies and puréed cauliflower. Each bite was simply sublime--I even contemplated seconds! Both dishes were presented with an artistic flair, matching the delightful service provided by the staff. The restaurant boasts a charming patio, complete with heaters that added warmth to both body and soul. Brigantine in Imperial Beach is undoubtedly a gem of an establishment. I left eagerly anticipating my next visit, eager to explore more of their enticing menu offerings. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!“
“Park in the site garage, they’ll validate your ticket.Just order a pizza at the bar and take a seat anywhere in this comfy, spacious but cozy space. Service was amicable and thoughtful, and the funghi pie was delish.So-Cal chill vibes, lovely dinner, would go back.“
“After dining at Buona Forchetta, I can't imagine enjoying pizza and pasta anywhere else in San Diego. From the moment you step in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel like you're family. They're sociable, upbeat, and ready to make your meal a memorable one. Our dinner began with two different wines. I'm a wine enthusiast, and I didn't snap any photos or recall their names, but rest assured, their wine recommendations are spot-on. The Regina Margherita pizza was a revelation. With its incredibly flavorful thin crust and the heavenly sauce, it was a pizza-lover's dream come true. The Spaghetti in Due Pomodori was, hands down, the best pasta dish I've tasted in California. With a simple yet tantalizing blend of organic tomatoes, garlic, and basil, it was sheer perfection. The nightly special, Pollo Milanese, was another hit. The chicken was tender, brimming with flavor, and cooked to perfection. And then came the desserts. We indulged in every option on the menu, and each one was a delight. We didn't leave a crumb behind. I highly encourage you to channel your inner foodie and savor each one, just like we did!“
“As you know, parking is always tricky in North Park but there is plenty of parking available in the neighborhood. The service was so quick. We got water and as we turned around our food was already delivered to our table. They have self serve water (plain and sparkling) outside. I love how spacious outdoor/bar seating is on the patio. The music was great. A great vibe overall. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and craving some bomb ramen!Food review:Underbelly ramen: (5/5) The noodles, meat, and broth were all perfection in this bowl of ramen! It was a good portion and the meat was SO tender and delicious!Tonkotsu ramen: (5/5) The noodles were cooked perfectly, pork was tender and flavorful, the soft boiled egg is always my favorite part, and the broth is delicious, I could just drink bowls of it. It's not super heavy and has so much flavor.Beef gyoza: (4/5) These were tasty, but there was not as much filling/meat inside as we like.Short rib bao: (3.5/5) The meat was very tender, but the coleslaw and spicy mustard didn't mesh well together in my opinion. I ate the meat, pickle, and bun and it was delicious. It comes with 2 buns, so plenty to share!“
“My friends and I had an amazing night out at Side Bar on our San Diego trip in March. As soon as we stepped inside we were wowed by how beautiful this venue was. The cocktails were delicious, the staff was fun and friendly, and it smelled so good in there! The vibe was perfect and everyone was having a good time. My favorite part was when the bottle service girls rode out on a giant horse with champagne for one of the tables next to the DJ, I was not expecting that! This was definitely the highlight of our trip and we can't wait to go back!“
“Love coming here. Delicious tapas, wonderful service, fantastic live music, dancing. It’s always such a joyful experience.Parking: In a very pedestrian friendly area. Parking is normally plentiful but will be a block (or more) away depending on the night of the week in paid lots/street/garage or using valet.“
“I had dinner with my family including two children.I ordered a pizza. It was delicious. It was dinner time, so after a certain time the restaurant suddenly became moody, as if it was lit by candlelight.Might be a little dark for families with children. .Wheelchair accessibility: He guided me to a large seat near the entrance.“
“Very nice cocktail lounge in the heart of little Italy in San Diego! Great cocktails and then there are snacks. We had hummus which was to die for, and charcuterie board which was so-so. Cocktails in particular were good. I enjoyed old fashioned!!! Service was pleasant and nice...“
“We had the basic miso ramen which was okay. I expected more flavor on the broth. The noodles were perfect size . Loved my garlic edamames and my deep fried California roll. My server was super friendly and had fast service.Vegetarian options: Tofu“
“I just went here to have breakfast with my husband and the food and service was amazing. I had the red chilaquiles with a side of sliced avocado and scrambled eggs. Everything was so fresh and scrumptious, almost like having homemade breakfast made by my abuelita. I also liked that they weren't spicy but still super flavorful ( Mexican allergic to spicy food right here!) My husband on the other hand loves everything spicy, he ordered the mole chilaquiles, very spicy, and he loved it ! Our waiter was awesome and very attentive. We'll return soon!“
“We had no problem getting a table just service. Miguel's restaurant was not so busy and it didn't seem that they were short staffed cause I think there were more employees standing conversing with each other than customers seated. I worked in customer service business for 38 years and as a local person I sure would want the tourists that ate at my restaurant to go back home with a memory of the food and great customer service they had.in San Diego.Parking: There's a lot of renovations happening down at the harbor so you can find yourself driving around looking for a metered parking spot and disabled parking are limited.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair. I had no problem using my walker.“
“My BF and I came to celebrate our 4th yr Anniversary, we were pleased we came here instead of other options we had. Service was excellent, the waitress was super sweet and accomodating, sword fish tacos are my bf favorite! ? Creme brulee courtesy of BRIGANTINE was delicious!! THE BRIGANTINE Never disappoints!! ??❤️“
“King and Queen Cantina has quickly become a favorite for our group. The ambiance is incredible! It is vibrant and stylish, with a touch of modern Mexican flair. The food was equally impressive. I found it delicious and fresh, with huge portions that are perfect for sharing. Our server was fantastic as he was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Carne Asada Burrito, Pork Belly, Steak, tacos, and desserts were all incredible. This is definitely worth checking out!“
“Food was delicious, drinks perfect, and service outstanding! The DJ lacked knowledge of what that job entails. Zero interaction with patrons. It was just like having a very loud music station on. Unless they hire live musicians, it is a waste of funds to pay someone to just come and connect a laptop to the place's speakers.“
