“This place rocks. No two ways about it. Walked in and the owner Shad immediately made us feel welcome. You can tell he really cares about his patrons and wants you to have a good time. The vibe is very cool; dollar bills stapled all over the place signed by past guests, free pool (gets competitive so bring your A-game), pizza at all hours, cold beer, good music and conversation. In an eclectic, off-beat place like Ocotillo Wells, what more could you ask for? We weren't sure what we were expecting walking in but it exceeded expectations. Would and will be coming back!“

“Recently dined at the Fox Bistro for a birthday dinner and was so pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious and creative, including a lovely, complimentary birthday dessert! Service was friendly, competent and unhurried. Very happy we decided to celebrate there.“

“A hidden gem in Borrego Springs! Wonderful, unpretentious hangout with stunning views of the mountains. Both staff and customers are low-key and friendly. We had the Cesar salad and turkey chili, and both were tasty. Got lucky on a Saturday night and were treated to a live performance by Enter the Blue Sky trio.Very clean restaurant, bar, and bathrooms. Cool aviation murals and memorabilia. Not many of these small airport restaurants are still around, so it's especially good to support this local business.“

“We got the desert storm (double patty), magic mushroom, and the Oreo milkshake. The lady at the counter was very friendly and before we ordered the milkshake, she did tell us it would take her 10 minutes to make it (sign that it's good!). It seems to be a popular place as people are coming or leaving town. The burgers were appetizing but the milkshake was the best thing and i did not want to share it with the other person lol.“

“I've been here a few times. The outside patio is charming. Cadillac margarita served in pitchers really done well. The jalapeno mag is also great ?spicy but delicious. The food is authentic style and portions are a little more than average. Will be returning ?“
