“I was in the area and looked up Poke. Poke LouLu came up. The reviews were good so I decide to try. I agree this Poke Bowl was tasty. I too wanted more after I finished. This place has been open for 4 months. I'll come back when I'm in Burbank again inside is clean and service was pleasant and informative. Thanks for dinner“
“Fast service, fresh fish, and satisfying lunch! My friend and I came here and got takeout, and it was delicious. They only have one outdoor table unfortunately, but poke is something you grab and go anyways. We ended up taking this to a street down (Black Elephant Coffee) and eating our meal with our lattes. The portions feel small but it's really actually just dense. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, but I do wish that they gave you more than just 2 add ons. You have to ask about extra costs, because they won't tell you that up front, nor are there signs.Overall a solid poke place!“
“Patio Seating/ Dog Friendly!I’ve been coming to this spot for over a decade! They were around even before the movie! =) Fast forward present day- I wanted my niece to try Hawaiian BBQ. She’s been to Hawaii but now that she is older and her palate has changed, I knew this was the spot to take her for our monthly get together!Hawaiian BBQ always has a place in my heart! Growing up in Hawaii the BBQ was a staple, so simple; BBQ, rice, mac salad and a can of Hawaiian Sun!Got the katsu, short rib, BBQ and seafood combos! Of course, she wanted musubi so we got that and it came with 2 for the order, with the drink total came to $95! But dang, the rice to meat ratio was sad ?? rice is cheap… why not load up? Maybe my expectations are too high? LOL but its rice….cant shake the portion out of my head also, the mac salad can use a upgrade– missing star.Parking: Parking behind the building, in the front and structures all around. For guaranteed parking the mall is your best option!“
“For Hawaiian fusion it’s pretty good, with some unexpected items such as the potatos bravas stealing the show. Some other items were less impressive, with the filet mignon in particular, despite being very tender, too out of character for this place. Warm French toast for dessert is a bit fun with banana bread and cocoa chips.Service was superb and cocktail game is strong. Parking is valet or hope you get lucky in the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: Some decent options for vegetarians.Parking: It’s a busy business area, quite a few streets nearby are permit only, so odds are good the valet is the best option.“
“Customer service was stellar! Since it was my first time, he helped me choose items and answered any questions I had. I ended up getting the beef lunch plate. Food was amazing. Very comforting and exactly what I needed after not eating the entire day.“
“The best ramen in LA!!! I haven't been to any other ramen place since discovering this gem. Literally nothing else compares! They added a couple seats inside and have a lot of seating outside. Even their vegan ramen is amazing which most places can't get right. Can't wait to go back!“
“Wife and I were ecstatic upon hearing that Ululani opened shop close to home. We experienced it first in Maui. Other shaved ice shops in Maui and Waikiki couldn't hold a candle to Ululani. Fluffy ice and their syrups taste organic and not too sweet. Our four year-old approved on his first trip to the Hollywood location. This is the best Hawaiian shaved ice by a Maui mile. Hope they stick around long term.“
“So we ordered the Hawaiian barbecue mix and the half-and-half with chicken Katsu and fried shrimp. For both, we got two Mac and one rice, and then an extra thing of rice and a katsu musubi. Let's start with the portion sizes they were huge. It was enough for both of us to take our leftovers for lunch the next day, so that was really great. The barbecue mix was the better out of the two for me, but my friend said the Katsu curry was really good not soggy etc . So I feel like it's safe to say the food was delicious. There were no mistakes in our order and I'll be ordering from them again.“
“I remember coming to the shop for sushi rice when I was pregnant. Whom had seemed to be the owner of the shop ending up being incredibly kind and accomplished. I felt welcome and I bought all of my poke bowls there ever since. Sadly I moved out of state and will miss their poke. Really kind, welcoming atmosphere, and good poke!“
“Service is nice and super quick! Nice small place. Bulgogi beef is very delicious, good proportions of meat, rice, and salad. Inari is very filling and plenty bang for your buck! Delicious. Musubi is nice and compact good for on the go snack. Mango & peach shake / slush is very sweet and yummy! Will come back again.“
“Ohana BBQ is my comfort Hawaiian food spot on Ventura Blvd. They stand out among the others because it's Hawaiian dishes with Korean BBQ. Every time my wife and I go , the gentleman who takes the phone orders is also the one ringing us up and he's so pleasant each time. My favorite item on the menu is the japchae with short rib. They're also very generous with the teriyaki and hot sauce which is a plus. Also the wall of celebrities who've dined there is such a great touch!“
“What a delightful dining experience! The service here is friendly and efficient, making you feel like you've been welcomed into a Hawaiian home. The food is nothing short of amazing - the grilled pineapple with coconut shrimp was a revelation, and the macadamia nut pie was the perfect ending to our meal. The ambiance was a tropical dream, complete with tiki torches and the scent of plumeria in the air. This restaurant is a true oasis, and I can't wait to bring my friends and family back to share in the joy!“
“My go to poki spot in DTLA. Fairly priced and not skimpy with the protein the workers know what they're doing! I switch between the poki bowls and the wrap - both are great honestly. There are so many options and compared to spots like sweet fin this is just so much fresher and better in my opinion. It's located inside the grocery store which is nice because sometimes I grab a wrap and do my grocery shopping. You can also take it to go and sit at the tables outside. Super good, a must go.“
“I decided to try this since my husband was having lunch in his hospital room and this was right across the street in the same building my hotel is in. The poke was fresh and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. The place was also clean which is very important to me.“
“Theyre have your basic Chinese fast food needs the first Chinese food spot ive ever come in contact with that has curry and white rice on deck good portions and noodles beat panda expresses any day all the food honestly!! my go to lunch spot support small business not corporations.Vegetarian options: noodles white rice steamed veggies on deck“
“I hear about all about Loki from friend So I kept it in my mind till today I was super hungry and I'm craving sea food. But light So I drove there I ordered pokey salad base with spicy Mayo and soy My friend rice base pokey The good about that place easy to find on Ventura Boulevard. Super clean place smell fresh nothing like other pokey restaurant.Stuff super friendly The food fresh the salad crips The prices affordable with 4 scoops of Protein and you add topping wherever you like Really I enjoyed it and I will go back again“
“Excellent spot. We used Uber Eats and everything was packed well. We tried a few Hawaiian BBQ combos including the beef, bbq chicken, and crispy fish, as well as the shrimp fried rice. Everything was really tasty. I got 2 scoops of mac salad & 1 rice, and the sides were great as well. Fairly priced and good portions, too. Definitely recommended if you live in the area.“
“Their poke bowls are pretty good. I just wish they would add a little more raw fish and use tastier imitation crab. I also think they need to cover their toppings, as they’re exposed to air and not very sanitary. But, I like the fact that it’s quick to order and easy to customize my poke bowl.“
“Generous portions, tasty food, awesome topping selection, great price, and very attentive to our daughter’s allergies! We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Tofu option for protein, lots of veggie toppings.Dietary restrictions: Our daughter has allergies to dairy, nuts and eggs. They made sure to note it on her order and took care not to cross contaminate.Kid-friendliness: Fun atmosphere, attentive to our daughter’s allergies and she really enjoyed filling out her order slip and picking out all of her own toppings.“
“I'm a Poke Fanatic and this place blew my mind. Their OG Tuna and OG spicy Tuna is DELICIOUS! From the sauces, toppings, and garnishes...Everything was so fresh! Place was very well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and had great customer service.“
“Ordered delivery. I got the 15 piece of swai fish. A jar of fried oysters and 10 pieces of shrimp....oh an a cup of clam chowder with french fries and hush puppies. Thank you so very much Anna. It was our first time trying and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back ☺️“
“I just had a bridal shower at Aloha and I can’t say enough about how happy I am. All of my guests were in heaven loving the food…the service was above and beyond outstanding…and Kokorono Coffee kicked butt serving his unique hot and cold coffee, matcha and hot chocolate blends. I will definitely have another event here and highly recommend that you all do too! Thank you Jen, CJ, Curtis and staff for making my event perfect!“
“The Poke is great. The bowl sizes are really based on the number of fish scoops. Get large! Get 3 scoops.Staff person was super cordial.Ambiance poor. Their outside tables not wiped down. Not enough staff? Bring your own water avoid plastic!“
“Great customer service and good portions! Easily my favorite poke spot in the valley. Most poke spots have the same generic flavor but 8 oz is really at another level in terms of quality, taste and customer service. I especially like that they will mix the rice along with all the other ingredients and toppings. Game changer!“
“Great little independent restaurant. The world needs more unique places like this. If only people could tear themselves away from McDonald's and other gross corporate dumps and try something new once in a while. The service was very good. Yeah, they were in the back working when I came in, but they came out right away, so I can't see why anyone would feel the need to complain about that. They were out of a couple menu items this last visit, like their açaí, but it's all good because they have a varied menu and good prices. The interior is decorated with custom art pieces. Just go, ok?Vegetarian options: Açaí and all that implies... several rolls are meatless (avocado, daikon, and so on).Dietary restrictions: Easy for a gluten free person to eat here.Parking: Tons of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking very nearby. A wheelchair could easily roll in. Flat floor layout; no steps or stairs. Spacious, private bathroom.“
“Generous Servings, High quality seafood, and fresh vegetables!! Better than every other poke bar for 20 miles. Healthy Ponzu sauce! No excess sugar!(The bowl sizes have gotten a lil bit smaller recently)Vegetarian options: Tofu proteinDietary restrictions: Easy Meal for Keto or Pescatarian! Base choice of brown rice, white rice, or full salad.Parking: Only 2 parking spots in lot, plenty of steet parking just off Colorado Blvd.Wheelchair accessibility: One low step up, but there is a handicap parking“
“Love this Chinese fast food joint, their fried rice, chow mien, orange chicken, and spicy fish always hits the spot! I use to eat this everyday but obviously I was slowly killing myself, great food tho!! The donut shop across is delicious too!Parking: Parking is shared by the plaza, but security there is nice enough to help/guide you safely.“
“We are big fans of sushi and poke, and as we were in LA, we challenged ourselves to find a poke place that was better (if possible) than our favorite in NorCal. California Poke House paid out our quest.Their poke is superb (from the protein options, to toppings, to the sauce...) and their service is also great! Our new favorite place in LA area!“
“Food was great, they provided well services when ordering, and dining in felt comfortable. If you prefer not to eat everything. Then you could simply change the order of plate you’re eating to be “all sides” so you can have separate containers of the food. Meaning you’ll be able to save whatever you won’t eat for later and just eat the ones you want.“
“Poke N Roll is the definition of a hidden gem. Located in a tiny strip mall with limited parking, the restaurant is easy to overlook but well worth a try. Their ingredients are always incredibly fresh, from the crispy onion toppings to the warm and fluffy bed of rice underneath it all. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for!!“
“Ok so far so good good service it's 12:41am and they still cooking I like that about this place ordered a nice meal chicken combo Hawaiian BBQ there making it fresh can't wait to taste my food the atmosphere is nice and clean so that's a plus so far so good I don't understand why some people complain and say that it's bad my experience is so far a good one just waiting on the food to see if it's good or nasty it smells delicious can't wait to taste the food ....................... (A few minutes later) now it's 12:58am tasted the food it's delicious I do recommended“
“I love this place! I often order pickup since I’m down the road but they’re also on Uber eats. The pickup has usually been 10 mins or less. The portions are huge. I just wanted to sing their praises and give them a review after my 10+ orders with them.“
“Poke Me is a gem! Every bowl is bursting with freshness, and the flavors are unmatched. The staff is friendly, making each visit feel personal and warm. Portions are generous, leaving you satisfied every time. It's not just about eating here; it's the whole experience that keeps me coming back. If you haven't been to Poke Me yet, you're missing out. Truly a top spot for poke lovers!“
“This place is seriously the best. I suggested they open on Sundays because its my day off, and they did! They are my favorite poke place in Los Angeles! I asked how Sundays have been and unfortunately it's been slow This husband and wife duo work everyday and deserve some love here. I recommend everyone try it out themselves!“
“I ordered a large portion (3 proteins) for $20+. It's pricey for sure, but there was a lot of food and even though I didn't add any filling ingredients like rice, I was very full at the end. I like the food, except that the person who prepared my bowl put too much sauce, making it more soggy than I would like. The restaurant is basic and small, but that's expected. Basically, a decent healthy option in Westwood. I would take advantage of the happy hour options and free miso coupon on Yelp to save a few bucks.“
“It's not everyday where you come across a place that exudes community, warmth, and good food - all thanks to the convivial magic that Gary brings to the table as the location's manager. He makes every visit personal and goes above and beyond to procure the freshest food and make everyone feel right at home. The best of the best, and always a perennial pleasure. Can't wait for my next bowl!“
“Ever since we visited Hawaii a couple years ago, I've been craving Hawaiian styled food. I saw Ono in passing one day, and finally was able to give it a try on Friday. I was not disappointed at all! I got the chicken katsu plate with two sides of rice and two sides of steamed veggies (I substituted the macaroni salad for more veggies). The food was fantastic. My only thing to remember for next time is instead of substituting for two sides of veggies, to do an extra side of rice instead because I definitely didn't need all that cabbage hahaParking: Depending on the time of day, it can be a little difficult to find parking. There is metered parking and free one hour parking down the street“
“Stopped at the Burbank location during the wine walk in November and it was amazing and just what I needed. The fish was fresh and I got the burrito and usually I get the bowl but I wanted to eat and walk and it worked out great and tasted fresh and “
