Saw a line form at this French cafe and of course I had to join and see what the hype was about! Pastries ordered: Chocolate Almond Croissant 9/10 Almond Croissant 8/10 The almond croissants were so flaky and crispy!! (Slightly a little too burnt for my liking but still really good) I liked the almond chocolate croissant more, the chocolate filling complimented the almond so well! When you're ready for an authentic French treat, you have to visit Lou the French on the Block. Even though I arrived before they opened at 8 a.m., and it was pouring rain, there was already a line of Lou devotees. Got an iced double espresso and pain au chocolat. Literally had goosebumps the second the coffee hit my tongue, not sure what espresso they use but it’s excellent. Pain au chocolat was excellent as well. No clue how they are able to only be open 6 hours 3 days a week but it’s worth stopping by, expect a line.
