The cakes, cream pies, and cookies are equally special. This is a memorable pizza place that you'll talk about for weeks and think about for the rest of the year. $6-8 per smallish 6 inch square slice -- two is typical. Tables for eating in are few and hard to get (waiting for a few hours is not unlikely). Lines are long for take out. Minimal street parking. Friendly and kind service. “Tiny little bakery, in little Tokyo specializing in Asian baked goods. It was packed so I didn't look at everything they had, but they had plenty of good looking sweet stuff to ruin your Hollywood diet. I just grabbed snacks to take on my travels. I snagged a bag of melon pan and it looks and taste just like anime told me it would. Also got a couple steamed buns, sadly they were sold out of anko, but I got pork and curry. Haven't tried those yet, but the melon pan got me excited for them.“

I saved my cup after the boba cause the quality of it is so well made that I have to use it again. For 2 milk tea bobas it was $11.They specialize in custom cakes and had a few on display that were mind blowing. The Hello Kitty goth cake was next level.You can find baked treats, custards, mini cakes, and snow ice here ☺️?There’s some seating inside and along the window a few tables and chairs. “I came here to try the cakes. We got the sampler box and was so impressed with the cakes itself. They were extremely tasty, flavorful and rich with flavor. The service was great. It was a small little place with some seating outside. There is also a coffee shop next door if you want to grab some coffee to eat with your cake. We really liked the ube cake, black sesame, Belgian chocolate and lavender lemon.“

“We stumbled upon this bakery and got tempted with the 'Hong Kong' style baked goods. We were there around 2:30pm and by then most baked items were sold out. There were a few egg custard tarts left so we took the 'buy 5 and get 1 free' offer. And I must say they are legit HK egg custard tarts ! “This was my first time here and I'm super impressed! From the outside of the building to the clean and bright inside, it was a treat coming here. I got an assortment of pastries and desserts and I wasn't disappointed with any of my choices. I couldn't tell you the names of the desserts I took home except for the baklava but picking them out just based on how delicious they looked was definitely exciting and fun. I love trying new things, especially other culture's food and Le Gout doesn't disappoint when it comes to their desserts. I'll have to come back for the food, it all looked very good. Our box was filled with goodies and we enjoyed 95% of the delectable treats. Our box was filled by a sweet lady but the coffee crew weren't friendly. Not sure if there's one line for baked goods and one line for coffee or if anyone can help-- confusing in a small setting. “This is such a cute coffee shop that you can work out of, study, or just go on a date at. The lounge chairs are super comfortable and the service was wonderful. We ordered a few desserts and drinks to try out and my favorite item was definitely the Injeolmi Shaved Ice! I can eat that everyday.They have valet parking or street parking.“

They probably sell through their products faster maintaining their freshness. This is a takeout only location. No seating at all. Grab and go. It's nearby several downtown hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, Hotel Per La, as well as several colleges. Staff is friendly and efficient. They keep the location clean and tidy. I have observed them handling difficult people, who are not customers, but who walk in off of the streets, with grace and kindness when the situation needs to be addressed. This is a small, but mighty location. People who work, live, go to school or visit downtown L.A. are lucky to have it as a choice among several Starbucks. Parking is a challenge. “I looooove red ribbon so much and come here waaaay too often. I'm a little upset at my friend for introducing it to me because, it's a little further of a drive than I'd like to take on a regular but, whenever I crave Jollibee, Red ribbon is the next stop. Always, always get the cheese ensaimada, it's so goood! I've never had home cooked ensaimada's so, I don't know how authentic it is but, it's so good here. I always get two. I love the mamon's too but, I'll usually skip those. The cakes in the cases look so tempting but, I limit myself on how many I get per visit I'm also really tempted to try the cakes in the display case but, they rarely sell the ones I want in slices and I don't wanna get a whole cake. Everything looks really good here and I'm also in the mood to try new things. My coworker who is Filipino, recommended the palabok fiesta from here cause it was the best and, she wasn't wrong! It was so good! I got the a la carte one cause I knew the family style would've been toooooo much but, I might have to in the future, it was so good. The price seemed silly but it was LOADED when it came out and we were thrilled. They warmed up our croissant too and we loved how airy it was.
