“I say yes! My only gripe was the 12 to 15 minute wait when half the restaurant was empty. Not sure what was going on there for a Saturday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. maybe the entire staff hadn't yet arrived yet?Anyways, once we were seated, the menu is pretty straightforward. I do like the fact that there are photos of the items. The sushi photos looked great! But I was here on a mission to get ramen.Apr 2024. $16 Kuro Mayo was delicious. 16 ounces size. It's a big bowl. I was expecting a little more of the sliced pork, or at least a thicker cut of it. But the insanely complex and multi-layer and level broth completely left me speechless. The flavor is deep! There's so many things going on. First you get a bone broth kind of vibe, and as you continue to eat it, you start noticing the subtleties like a little fermentation, or funkiness, more earthiness, more of that deep umami. It's a pork broth, unlike anything I've tasted in a long time. Our waiter was great! I do like the fact that even the other waitress and waiter were checking in on us as well. It was a group effort. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place for family, larger small groups, tourists, office workers, and especially people who like take out. There are several tables outside across the street that are first come first serve if you decide to get your stuff to go, and eat nearby. The City of Burbank is pretty good about keeping those areas clean and clear. Just make sure to tidy up after yourself. One thing I don't like about the atmosphere is that it's way too dark inside. I think just boosting the light level by 30% would help a lot.One thing I would like to see is maybe some sushi bundles, or at least sushi roll bundles. The photos of the sushi look great, but I'm afraid the pricing might be a little too rich for my blood. That's why I'm just sticking with the ramen for now. There's so much Sushi competition up and down the block, so just saying.Parking: street only. San Fernando has a 90-minute limit per space. Be careful, some spots or 10 minute only. There are two free structures closer to Orange Grove that are Unlimited for about 22 hours. No parking 3am-5am. So if you have to leave your car there overnight, fair warning that you might get ticketed and towed.“
“We waited 2 hours to at least get seats and we weren't that big of group. It was worth my time, the best ramen I have tasted Great ramen and great service amazing staff amazing restaurant it is spot less and very well maintained. I have tried many ramen restaurants but this was some different level of ramen“
“Japanese ramen chain in the Century City Mall. Came here for dinner with a friend and had no reservation, but we were able to get seated immediately. Credit cards accepted. You pick out your customized ramen via a piece of paper and you can also opt for appetizers. A vegetarian option is available. We got edamame to split and I opted for the red king, which had a good amount of spice. Compared to the Manila location, the portions were on the smaller side, but we still left satisfied. You can customize the spice level, noodle type, and the toppings. Service was a bit rushed but still friendly. Overall, it’s a good spot to have a meal on a cold night.“
“Susuru holds a special place in my heart. I’ve tried a number of items on their menus and everything is ???. I can’t stress enough about how good this ramen is. I’ve only known about Susuru for a month or so but have eaten here over 8 times. All of the broths are rich and authentic. The Thai coconut curry ramen is mind blowing and a generous serving. My go tos are the Miso and Tonkatsu. Add spice for extra flavor. I brought my coworkers here and everyone’s bowls were finished down to the last drop of broth. Easily one of the best ramens shops in LA. It’s got a great mom and pop atmosphere. Food comes out quick. What else can I say, I’m in love with Susuru. Anytime I want ramen in the future, I’m going to come here. Just thinking of it makes my mouth water. ?“
“YOOO, this place is BOMB!! I got the Curry Ramen with Egg and I couldn’t believe how good it was. GREAT curry broth - well-spiced but not spicy. Nice noodles and meat too. Wish it had a bit more meat though. I’m from Hawai’i and grew up on Japanese Curry and Ramen. It really tasted like home. They were playing some good reggae music when we were there, so it sounded like home too.Went here because the other ramen place we wanted to go to down the street was an hour wait. So glad we did! We (party of 3) were seated right away on a Saturday night. We sat outside in the covered area. It was a cold night out but their heaters were so good that I took off my jacket and was wearing a short sleeve shirt. Nice waiters - did a great job at checking on us in case we needed anything. DEFINITELY coming back the next time I’m in the area. Will be bringing more friends along too.Parking: Parking sucks at night on the weekend, but that’s common in this area. I got free street parking as I parked after the time you have to pay. I wanna say past 8?“
“Make a reservation if you go here! We came on a Saturday afternoon and even though there were tables open they asked us if we had a reservation & when we said no they made us wait which threw us off a little! That being said, it's a gorgeous location and the ramen is amazing. The broth is absolutely divine & love that they gave an abundance of toppings. I will be back!“
“Tsujita La Artisan Noodle Annex is the best Dipping Ramen ( Tsukemen ) in LA , closest noodles I’ve felt in Japan. Here the noodles are thick and springy, they kept separate from garlicky and flavorful broth to maintain the chewable. It’s perfect for me!“
“I have to write this up while the food is fresh on my mind. Had an incredible meal here last night complete with cauliflower hot wings, two incredible vegan rolls of sushi (I'm not vegan and literally couldn't tell) and these jalapeno Boyz that were absolutely delicious! In short, I was absolutely blown away by the food, the service, and + bro, they have SNAPPLE. No photos because we devoured everything, no crumbs left behind.“
“The place itself is tiny, but the service is impressive! The owner himself greeted us and answered questions about the menu, then gave us samples. Ended up getting the Hawaiian Poke combo with 1/2 cucumber and seaweed salad, and a ginger ale. My favorite thing off the menu is hands down the seaweed salad. The poke was good, I think that because it’s intended to be a new take on poke itself, I was a little disappointed. I just happen to love the typical assembly line style of poke where you get to pick everything you want, and that wasn’t an option here, so I felt like there was something missing. It’s really just about personal preferences, but if you really like poke & want to try something different, then I would recommend it!Side note: I didn’t try the ramen, but the entire restaurant smelled strongly of broth and butter noodles, (in a good way) so I would be curious to try their ramen next.“
“Sweet little takeout soot with pleasing mod interior design & thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the two vegan options and they each had very distinct flavor profiles, the spicy one being quite hot by default but still delicious. Really nice service and kind people. Highly recommend!“
“We just ate here this evening and the place doesnt disappoint. Its a tiny shop in a strip mall and the interior just feels so welcoming. The service tonight was pretty great, even with 3 kids, we felt so welcomed. Its hard to navigate with kids in small spaces but the food, the service and the space just felt very lively. The kids loved the fried chicken and the spicy ramen was fantastic.Kid-friendliness: Really kind and friendly. The kids loved our server, she was the best.“
“Very pleasant little place. Portions were not as big as some places, and the prices reflect. This is a good thing. The Kale noodles were really good. I was not expecting that. I veered from my usual pork based broth to a chicken and maybe that wasn’t the best idea but over all I was very “
“Ramen Chef Kei is a highly skilled and very talented chef and the valley is lucky to have such plant based food of this caliber being offered. The yuzu sesame ramen is extraordinarily delicious, full of depth and flavor! The fresh yuzu really brings all the flavors out in the dish and I loved it! This is a spot to drive out of your way it's that delicious. Go now, thank me later!“
“Excellent Ramen, Kyushu Style Noodles (thin and not overcooked) The Soup was unexpectedly delicious, inspired to the Tonkotsu Pork Broth. I lived in Japan two years and this the first time I find something so authentic, comparable to the Original Japanese Ramen. Overal Super Recommended!!!“
“Overall experience it was good! The wait wasn’t too long. I think we came around the lunch time rush hour on a weekday with 40min wait?Dipping sauce was good and creamy. I was so full afterwards! Worth trying it again. The pricing was on a higher side.I also got the iced matcha. I really didn’t like it. It tasted like powered matcha poured with ice cold water. Highly don’t recommend getting the drink. Wasted my money.Paid street parking only. Paid $2 street parking for max 2 hour parking.“
“My teenagers and I were impressed with the simplicity of flavors of all our dishes. We started off with an assorted sashimi plate that had 3 pieces each of tuna, salmon, kampachi, and Japanese scallops and a plate of scallop carpaccio. It was soo yummy that we ordered another plate of scallop carpaccio and then we felt like we just had to try the kampachi carpaccio. Sooo good and the scallops just melt in your mouth! For our main dishes, we decided to share the Spicy Tonkotsu with extra bamboo shoots and the Truffle Butter Tonkotsu. The broths were very flavorful, the noodles fresh, and the chasu was delicious. For dessert, the friendly staff recommended the house-made Shio Koji ice cream with black sea salt to help cleanse our palates. It was very light and definitely refreshing. And I also tried the Genmaicha tea which was very light, aromatic, and soothing. All in all this place is a must go-to when you're in Ktown. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and very helpful for suggesting menu items. This is definitely our family's favorite find of the year!“
“Dope lil spot tucked away in Sherman Oaks. Quality sushi, great service. Fun tunes too. Going to be a go to spot. Tonight had the Oh My Goodness Roll and the I Love Salmon Roll. Who's set the playlist here? They deserve some recognition.“

“I had takeaways a couple of times before & finally did dining ? in about a couple of weeks ago ! With my mom & sister & her husband . The waiter was super nice ,a very friendly Japanese guy who was excited to see Japanese customers !! He answered to all of my brother in law's questions & our questions very honestly & helped us a lot. He gave us a tip to get ramen/ sushi combinations, too ! So that we could try both out / save $ !! They had matcha beer ? which was green !! It smelled so nice !! My brother in law said he loved it! But,according to the waiter ,no one really does !? LOL He said everyone who orders it ,leaves a half .?But ,he really loved it as he likes matcha green tea .We had vegan sushi ,my fave is fake eel one !! So yummy !! ? Also, my sister's vegetarian fried rice - eggs = vegan looked/ smelled so good !! She loved it !! She had it w tofu ! We all had fried tofu, which is also vegan. I had a vegan miso Ramen & mom had a vegan shoyu = soy sauce ,Ramen, I had a bite of it ,too & both were delicious !! ? When we left ,the waiter ran out the store to catch us to thank us !! So sweet !! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for vegans, vegetarians & everybody who loves Japanese dishes !! The inside of the restaurant looked real nice / clean !! The bathroom was clean, too ! We were the only Japanese inside ! Lol. They were busy & all others were American customers. As well as my brother in law . My sister is American since a decade ago ! We'll definitely frequent this place !! They are very close to Trader Joe's & Farmers market & the Grove !! So you can visit them after you are done with some shopping ! ?Vegetarian options: Vegetarian fried rice ,2 different kinds of vegan sushi & vegan Ramen, miso or shoyu= soy sauce broth. Fried tofu dish, etc.!! I highly recommend all !!Wheelchair accessibility: My mom uses her wheelchair & it was easy to get in ( ramp ) & maneuve it inside ,they helped her a lot ,too ! Very nice !!“
“I'm back at this restaurant and it hasn't disappoint me yet! I brought my son today and he is in heaven! I don't know why it says it's close when it's open? But it's under new management. The all you can eat menus are great and the food is amazing. For the money you paying it's worth the food your eating. Very tasty and decent size portions not to much rice! The service is definitely on point! I know the previous times I've been here service was okay and they would take a long time to feed you but this time around I give them 5 stars! Definitely upgraded in the service department...I definitely recommend this place come try it out! Definitely the best all you can eat place I've eaten! They give you good portions“
“We came here on a whim, after finding The Daily Outpost mysteriously closed on a Friday evening. Umigame is so good! Everything, from the poke bowl, salmon teriyaki, brussels sprouts, and edamame, were perfect! High quality food beautifully prepared. Very good service also. We will definitely be back.“
“I ordered the chicken ramen, comes with seaweed, boiled egg, corn, green onions and your choice of protein. I thought the ramen was very good. Only issues were there is no complimentary parking so you have to pay for valet which is 6$. With the already expensive ramen be prepared to spend about 40-50$ for two people.“
“This place is totally underrated and deserves more attention. Food is excellent and on par with other great Japanese restaurants. This is my second time here and I’ve throughly enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, sushi tastes fresh and they serve large portions. What else could you want?“
“I really love ramen, Can't get tired of eating anytime I find a good spot, and this is one of those places, whenever I'm nearby. Personally I highly recommend the slurping ramen combo, and chashu bowl. Price is very reasonable.food is delivered pretty fast, workers are very friendlyParking: Is a big lot with many business as well, but Parking shouldn't be an issue to enjoy a great ramen“
“Best Ramen in Silver Lake. The broth is uncious and satisfying. If you have no allergies, get the egg (I add dried seaweed as well). Large servings even at the smaller portion price point. Inside dining is tight, but outside heating does the trick.“
“4/5 stars (Vegetarian here for a plant-based/vegan review):We visited Suehiro Mini in Chinatown after the Chinatown Neighborhood Night Market hosted by CCEDLA in October, but I'm posting this review after learning that Suehiro's Little Tokyo location is facing eviction. Suehiro is a small family run restaurant chain with two generations of history, and the location in Chinatown has a smaller menu and storefront than its other locations. We were seated around 10:30 pm and the store wasn't too busy but it took us around 20 minutes to get our orders in and another 20 for the food to come out. Service is on the slower side so if you're on a time crunch definitely factor that in! There are four vegan options: vegan tomato ramen, vegan mapo don, vegan vegetable udon, and vegan yakisoba. I ordered the vegan tomato ramen. The broth was super thick and flavorful, and topped with fried and battered zucchini, tomato, and eggplants. While the portion sizes are quite large, the broth had a bit of a one note flavor and wasn't able to continue eating after I got through half. They have to-go containers so I was able to bring home the rest and it served as another meal. My friends ordered a Haiyashi Rice and Curry Rice and both really enjoyed their meal too. Their portions seemed even bigger, so if you have a small appetite I recommend sharing! Though service wasn't the quickest, we still enjoyed our meal, and I would love to return to try the other vegan options. If you're in the Chinatown area, try this ramen spot (as well as other small legacy businesses who are being pushed out by wealthier corporations that are actively working on gentrifying Chinatown).“
“It’s a unique take on ramen, good depth of flavor, great noodles, but for me the truffle dominates and the richness of the soup is too buttery. Like it for something new, but I prefer a more traditional take. I like truffle and I have had a dozen bowls in Tokyo. I was expecting the price, but at the end of the night it felt too steep.“
“DAMN! The best killer noodles! The noodles can go as hot as you want, from a scale of 1 through 6. My limit is 3 but I'm more comfortable with a level 2. Even at 2, I'm sweating. Every now and then, when I'm in a mood to torture myself with amazing spices, I go here. Try it, you will understand!“
“Service was great with attentive server and bringing out dishes. The lunch omakase was by far the better one compared to the dinner set. Fun interactive experience for the lunch omakase with different dipping salts, and making your own sushi with rice, seaweed, and assorted season sashimi pieces. Dinner set was nicer in terms of presentation, but not as satisfying with the amount of food provided and cuts of fish offered. Great place to try though for lunch if you're a fan of aesthetic and sushi!“
“We came here on a Tuesday night looking for a quick but savory meal. It was busy but there were some seats open. casual place. The food came out quite quickly, and as a whole it was very good. We got chicken kaarage, which was a good portion for its price. The accompanying spicy mayo was unexpectedly quite nice. boy got the blaze, which he really liked. I got the classic ramen, which was flavorful and not too salty. The noodles were cooked very well, and the broth warmed me nicely. I have came here before craving the tsukemen, and it is for the most part quite good but always ends up tasting very salty by the end. will probably still come back and order it again though.“
“Consistently the best ramen in La hands down vegan or otherwise. Rich broth, Quick Service great atmosphere. Just down the road is donut friend 5 minute walk away which is a huge Plus for dessert after a killer bowl of ramen nudes with the best King oyster mushroom“
“Daaaaang! This food was delicious! We stopped by after a long hike, purchased the OG Plate which has mostly everything they serve. And devoured it! The consome was awesome as well! Dip everything in it!? Then we washed it down with a refreshing hibiscus drink! Will be back for the burrito!“
“The restaurant serves delicious food, evident from the Japanese customers who frequent the place. Although they accidentally overlooked one of our dishes, they kindly offered to waive the cost of the potato salad to ensure our satisfaction.“
“One of the best tasting ramens everI have only ordered take out from this place and there food comes well packed the taste is amazingI recommend the seafood ramen with mushroomsIt’s the best tasting mushrooms everGreat place definitely have to dine in some time soon“
“We had zero expectations when we walked in - just needed a bite before heading to the Fonda. It was AMAZING!! We don't live nearby, but we've been telling everyone how much we loved it. Extremely kind staff, wonderful food, real wasabi available. It's not fancy and the prices are reasonable and we really appreciated that vibe. So good!! We'll be back any time we're in the area and are already looking forward to it.“
“One of the best ramen places in town. Excellent choices along with ramen. We tried it for the first time as we were visiting little Tokyo. Although it is not in the village I will highly recommend to anyone visiting this area. Will be going back for some more next time I am visiting.“
“Was recommended to come to this place. This is my first time here, I wanted to order everything. It all looks so good. Amazing customer service ,very fresh food. Everything served super hot. Best kimchi i've ever had. I will drive all the way back to this place. Can't wait to. To come back again and try something different“
“It is chilly in LA tonight so how about some miso soup? Waku waku was just what we were looking for. We ducked in to warm up with a couple of bowls of miso and a salad. Waku waku also serves ramen, sushi and pokes. It all looks good we are staying up the block at the Dream only a block and a half away. We plan to come back soon. Recommend.“
“This place is the definition of a hidden gem. Unbelievably amazing ramen everything is just right with flavor and spice. Very laid back aesthetic and service was wonderful. I ordered and highly recommend the spicy tonkotsu it was probably the best I have had in Los Angeles. Outside of the amazing ramen they have so much more to offer. I cannot gush over this place enough. If I could I would give it 6 stars out of 5 just for havingSapporo and asahi on draft on top of everything else.“
“From March 2024:Went here with my family for dinner. We ate in the to-go side instead of waiting for a seat in the more aesthetic dine-in side. I value eating sooner more than waiting outside in DTLA.We had a mix of ramen and rice dishes and all of it was good enough to eat till you burst. Bigger portions so you can easily take home leftovers. The staff was nice and food was prepared rather fast.A cozy place to take some friends for delicious, filling ramen.“
“Really great sushi restaurant… we eat sushi a lot and this is high quality, yet reasonably priced. Very cosy inside, service was excellent & particular favourites were the Seared Salmon, Spicy Tuna (no.2) and the Lauren Roll. Highly recommend!“
“I feel compelled to leave a review since this is the best ramen I’ve ever had.Not only that, but their service is OUTSTANDING.I was received with a smile, got seated right away, and I got my food 2 minutes after I ordered. I was impressed. And don’t let the speed to which I was served follow you…THE RAMEN WAS AMAZING.You can really tell how slowly they cook the broth and the noodles.I’m truly amazed!“
“This place is definitely worth the drive to Lincoln Heights. The food is reasonably priced, well seasoned, and nice portions. I've had the tofu bowl more times than I care to admit. Highly recommend. There is indoor and outdoor sitting available.“
“Took the A line from work. Subway drops you off on the other side of Honda Plaza. Great ramen really enjoyed the amount of noodles and two kinds of pork; sliced and belly. The broth was excellent and comforting. I added chili sauce and an order of gyoza and a Sapporo. $17 for a bowl of Tokushima Ramen. Very delicious.“
“I have eaten the pho here twice and have been impressed both times. The food is fresh, delicious and the portion is good. This is one of my favorite pho places in this area. They are never too crowed when I visit for lunch and the atmosphere is wonderful. It is privately owned and the service is great! Definitely recommended!“
“Amazing service! The pork katsu curry came out as soon as I ordered it. The curry was really good and the price was just right. They have several options for lunch and good lunch combinations that are worth ordering. I wish I could upgrade the curry from their lunch combo to the katsu curry. Would recommend going here if you're in the little Tokyo area!“
“I ordered the strayberry matcha latte(medium), the regular matcha latte(medium and large), kaarage, takoyaki, spicy tuna roll, tori soboro and a spicy mild tonkatsu. The meal came out really quickly and the food was delicious. I was suprised that the hard boiled egg was thinly sliced than into 2 parts. It wasn't busy at all and a pretty decent space to move around. Theres also outside seating as well as indoor ones. The kitchen is right in the open area and isnt closed off so you can see all the prep and food. The drinks had different milk options, I chose soy milk. In total before tip it was $78. They also had different merch like tote bags, t-shirts and more. I was tempted to get the desserts, but was unfortunately too full to try them.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres no 2nd floor so everything is ground level.“
“The sushi rolls were great. I still haven't found a spot that makes great crush rolls here I'll give it a 3.7/5. I love the Super Rainbow Roll pack with Protein. That kick in the 411 was a nice feeling. The service was very welcoming and welcomed me to the community as a new person.“
“The ramen was nice and comforting on a cold day. I had the tonkotsu umi ramen, which was exactly what I was looking for in a ramen. I appreciate when chefs do not overcomplicate things and focus on good flavor. My friend had the shio ramen, which was nice and light. My favorite part of the meal had to be the yuzu sherbet though. It was refreshing and not too sweet! The wait was about 25 minutes, but it felt longer because we were out in the wind the whole time. Since the shop was so busy I did not expect super attentive service, but I do not fault them for it. I would love to eat here again. The menu had spicy vegan options for ramen that looked delicious! I’ll have to try that another time.“
“This is my second time going here. The ramen is very very yummy. On top of the delicious food, they have incredible service. Let me tell you about ✨️ROXANNE✨️! She saved my dog when it ran into oncoming traffic! She physically stopped the semi truck with her own two hands, even pushing it farther back so my dog was 100% unscathed. Then the solar eclipse happened and she was the last one illuminated before the sky went dark. One arm holding my little pug, the other halting the truck. She is truly incredible! ?“
