“While one would figure that the prime location of this Subway located only a block away from my address, easy walking distance, would be an unfair advantage to compete for my favorite destination for a sandwich this Subway’s taken me by surprise and discarded any preconceived doubts of their quality, and, or service.

The staff exceeds expectations by providing an uncommon pleasant experience with their personalities. The kind lady and gentlemen, of a husband, who staff this Subway make me feel at home each, and every, time I walk through the door. They have great hours of availability in addition to delicious & refreshing Pepsi-Cola products that are all too difficult to find these days in the Restaurant-Chain world, to wash down tasty sandwiches.

Subway has a certificate of recognition for best sandwich, in Burbank, in 2025, and I imagine it’s in no small part due to this particular establishment at 401 South Glenoaks Boulevard.“

“I LOVE GIAMELA’S Subs! Everything from the tuna, the pepper steak, the pastrami.. they all are must try’s and the bread is always fresh! They do not skimp on anything, their sandwiches are truly a meal (not some sad 6 inch from subway). This place is an LA staple and a family favorite. “The food here is absolutely unreal the breakfast burrito was a biblical experience. The owners are incredibly nice and genuinely care about making quality food. I would highly recommend the breakfast burrito as well the OTB cheesesteak. I would share a photo of the food but I already demolished all of it. Would recommend!“

“Great little shop right in burbank! Easy to pop in from Studio City. We have catered my daughters first birthday and thanksgiving and have been so happy with everything!

Aside from the catering the pantry goods and frozen pizzas are great for some fill ins for a busy week or can grab a few gifts for a food lover/house warming!“

“Mendocino farms makes great sandwiches. But, the parking at the Toluca Lake location is a nightmare. Ordering pick-up??? You will regret it. Valet will turn you way even though half the parking is empty. People showing up to eat only to leave when they can't find parking. The priority for the Valet is profits above convenience. I wonder how much money the restaurants are losing everyday because of this. Hundreds for sure.“

“Got the pastrami sandwich and it was a solid choice, stuffed with meat and a hefty portion size. The bread was fluffy and nicely toasted as well. Great service that was super efficient and fast which was super helpful since we had a flight to catch. It's a very convenient location right next to the burbank airport (3-5min walk door to door to the ticketing area) so we got a quick bite to eat before the flight, instead of getting charged for overpriced airport food. Overall: very filling/tasty food, solid friendly service, and super convenient location.“

“First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

“After a really disappointing experience at the Studio City Jersey Mike’s, I drove 12 minutes to this location on Hollywood Way in Burbank—and let me tell you, it was like night and day.

The staff here were welcoming, professional, and on point. They greeted me with smiles, actually listened to my order, and made the sandwich with care (and the right portion size!). The place was clean, the energy was great, and it honestly restored my faith in the Jersey Mike’s brand.

I'm not a sandwich woman I add spinach, bell pepper, onion, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and spicy slice peppers. My old job they always order from subway but not taste good like ??? I buy 3 foot long, 1 ham for my boss, one for my supervisor and beef for me. “Order 2 subs to go. Staff was friendly and attentive. At the time of visit, the restaurant was clean. It is possible that the restaurant may not allow restrooms to be used. I think it has to do with homeless problems that happens time to time. Would be nice if customers are allowed to use who are buying food. If you happen to be during in the restaurant during the weekday between 9am to 4 pm, you could use the SoCal AAA restroom next door. Parking entrance could be a little bit tricky from Alameda. It is easier to miss and end up at the SoCal AAA parking lot instead.“
