Spicy Factory

This place has been on my yelp todo for a while mainly because the cheese covered tteokbokki looks so good. I think Daeho has converted me to crave any Korean dish topped with cheese. I finally stopped by for lunch and thought the plate was supposed to serve 2, I can eat a lot. I got the rice cake topped with cheese with sausage and fish cake. I was very satisfied with the meal though wish there was even more cheese.

This place has great reviews but felt the food was lacking in flavor. We ordered the spicy rice cake with onion rings and kimchi fries. The kimchi on the fries paired well with sauce. The rice cakes were quite average and left a lot to be desired. For the price, I think a few more toppings could be added to make the flavors more robust. We came on Friday at 8pm. It was quiet and there were plenty of tables. The server was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We ordered for delivery, and the delivery was very smooth. The packages was good and there was not any spillage.The "Spicy Fried Rice Cake Combo" was very different. I never had anything like it. I actually loved how it tasted. My only complaint is even when I asked it to be mild, it was pretty spicy.The fried chicken was extremely crunchy and sweet on the outside, but was not as good on the inside.
