little lucca continues to serve delicious, massive sandwiches. now with prices going up everywhere, $14-18 for a giant sandwich that easily feeds 2 people is affordable.service is always efficient. biggest tip is these sandwiches are messy and best when fresh, so if you are not eating it immediately (on the sidewalk curb like us LOL), you can ask for the sauce on the side.will continue to be our go-to meal to and from SFO
A great alternative to Togo's. *ALL* of the individual ingredients of their sandwiches are excellent on their own which is probably why their sandwiches are so tasty. I had the "Steak Caesar" on their new "Italian" roll that contains thin sliced rib roast, caramelized onions, cheese (I think it was provolone) and their house made Caesar dressing. The sandwiches are huge! Be ready to share with 1-2 people. I split mine into lunch and dinner. We ordered the double meat with corned beef and pastrami and the prime rib sandwiches. The garlic spread really enhanced the flavor and my sandwich had a little kick to it. I went right when it opened and there were no line. It's just a takeout place so don't expect to eat there. Lots of parking though.
