This place has been on my yelp todo for a while mainly because the cheese covered tteokbokki looks so good. I think Daeho has converted me to crave any Korean dish topped with cheese. I finally stopped by for lunch and thought the plate was supposed to serve 2, I can eat a lot. I got the rice cake topped with cheese with sausage and fish cake. I was very satisfied with the meal though wish there was even more cheese.

This place has great reviews but felt the food was lacking in flavor. We ordered the spicy rice cake with onion rings and kimchi fries. The kimchi on the fries paired well with sauce. The rice cakes were quite average and left a lot to be desired. For the price, I think a few more toppings could be added to make the flavors more robust. We came on Friday at 8pm. It was quiet and there were plenty of tables. The server was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We ordered for delivery, and the delivery was very smooth. The packages was good and there was not any spillage. The "Spicy Fried Rice Cake Combo" was very different. I never had anything like it. I actually loved how it tasted. My only complaint is even when I asked it to be mild, it was pretty spicy. The fried chicken was extremely crunchy and sweet on the outside, but was not as good on the inside. Either it wasn't cooked enough, or the chicken was not as good, when is a shame. The Bibimbap was also quite tasty. My wife did not enjoyed the see weeds, but I do quite enjoy them. So, I guess it depends to the person.Overall, I quite liked this place, and will order again.

We had lunch here on Saturday. We ordered two bibimbap and two tofu soup. The food tastes good, portion is generous and the price is reasonable. The servant was very attentive and helped us on our unusual request.

Really good food! Honestly this place is a hidden gem cause it's quiet and really personal. The ambiance is super chill honestly just a spot you can eat good food and watch a game on the tv. And the service was great good amount of check ins and very good recommendations.

very subpar korean food ... we got the spicy rice cake, beef bibimbap, and fried chicken. we ordered spicy on the rice cake but it was bland and lacked flavor. it only had 4 pieces of sausage and was mostly cabbage. we got ramen and the dish came out to $32. we got the honey and spicy fried chicken. the honey was better than spicy - both overly sweet.

Came here on a Friday for dinner with some friends. We were seated right away which was great. We ordered the kimchi fries which was hella good and addicting! We also ordered the Korean army stew, drumettes (spicy and honey), spicy fried rice cake. I enjoyed everything except the honey drumette. I thought it tasted a little weird. But everything else was delicious. We also ordered a bunch of soju. The service was really good too! Our waiter was definitely on top of it and made sure we were taken care of. Will def come back when I'm in the area!

This place was super good! I went with my boyfriend and friend last night, it wasn't busy at all and the service was very quick. We had boba next door and we thought we would eat dinner here. Our server was also very attentive and nice! They had the Warriors game playing in the background but overall, the place wasn't too loud, pretty quiet honestly. The food was amazing! We ordered wings, bibimbap, rice and they gave a side of kimchi as well. For the wings we got mild spicy, it had a good amount of kick to it but I still really liked it! The seafood bibimbap was also very light and refreshing, I really enjoyed it and so did my boyfriend. Would definitely take more friends here!

Neighbourhood Korean place that nestles next to a popular boba store. I've dined in before Covid and gotten takeout after -- there weren't many tables, and the furnishings are minimal, but it was pretty clean and sufficient. Their menu is a hodgepodge of popular Korean items that are borderline comfort junk food to me -- fried chicken, army stew, tofu soup, those kind of things. Korean places can be really simple and concentrate on a dish or two, so the variety is honestly surprising to me, but I also didn't expect much because of that. From my memory, the fried chicken can be very spicy, but it wasn't tender or moist enough to pull me away from chains like Bonchon.More recently, I got a tofu stew take out because of the weather and my cravings for something warm and comforting. Maybe I'm asking for too much but.. it's always a bit disappointing when a Korean restaurant didn't pack more than just the tofu soup and rice. Not even an egg or a tiny pack of kimchee The tofu soup itself was spicy and savory, filled with small bits of beef, tiny seafood mix, and I even got 2 shrimp. It was just what I needed at the moment and I would go back again when I need a tofu soup fix quickly -- but I wouldn't go out of my way just to get a meal here.

Came here with a friend on a weekday for dinner. I was gonna order DoorDash but it's a better experience to dine in I guess. We got 10 chicken wings (2 flavors) and the spicy rice cake combo that's looks very appealing. Both dishes were ok, not super impressive (maybe we should have made them spicier). These two dishes are enough for at least three people, and I do think this place is good for groups!

This has been on my to-go list for years! We finally made the time to make it down and now I don't have to wonder what this tastes like. The restaurant was not busy on a Saturday around 1:00pm. You come in, pick your seat, and they're really quick about cooking your food. We got the spicy rice cake combo and added fried seaweed rolls and fried dumplings. Being that we are not people with high spice tolerances, we got mild and it was a good amount of spice. The broth was very anchovy/fish forward and was spicy enough to keep us warm but still able to eat the food (I think we could have gotten medium). The fish cakes were delicious and paired so well with the rice cakes. We also loved the sausages that go really well with the dish. This was a great bang for our buck. They say this feeds 2-3 but I think it feeds 2. If you have 3+ definitely get something else to share. I'm surprised this place isn't any busier yet.

I came here on a Friday night around 6:30pm and was seated right away. It's kind of a smaller restaurant and I expected it to be more of a k-pop environment with lots of food and drink options but there weren't many options to my surprise. We ordered:- Kimchee fries $8.95 - I was pretty disappointed in the fries TBH. It's literally some fries, some sauce and kimchi juice on top. Totally not worth the price but if you're drinking, it's good to munch on- BBQ Beef $25.95 - Nothing too special about it, but it was decent. The bed of onions made the portion look bigger than it was- Honey Wings $17.95 for 10 pcs - these were ok but also, nothing special about it. I was surprised at how little options they have for flavors and they sounded basic, so the honey wings were better than I expected :)- Korean Army Stew $41.95 - this was my fave dish of the night (sorry, I forgot to take a pic!) It's a hot pot that's good for 2-3 people. This dish was tasty and had a good variety.Service was amazing. It started getting busier towards 7pm and there were at least 6-8 tables with ONE server but he was always on point with refilling water, providing us extra napkins without us asking, checking on our Army Stew so that it didn't boil over, flipped the ingredients inside the stew so that it cooked evenly, etc. He deserves all the praise cause I worked in the restaurant industry before and I don't think I could've provided such attentive service like he did!Overall, it's a decent spot but I wish there was more variety and it's not a traditional Korean restaurant if that's what you're looking for.
