“I got the red velvet cake (and a couple Triple Berry Cake Jars) for my sisters birthday. I had never tried Sweet Lady Jane before- but it was amazing! The cake was soft and delicious, and the frosting was not as sweet as other cakes which is perfect. I served it with some fresh strawberries (a perfect addition). The Triple Berry Cake Jars are now a favorite of the household as well. “I love this place !! I stopped by in the morning and ordered their vegan breakfast burrito and a hot almond milk latte. The burrito was great. Filling flavorful and comes with a little side of salsa. The latte was also good, and both were so fairly priced as it’s about half of what you would pay in the city. The real treat here though is I sat towards the back for awhile catching up on work, and every customer that came in was recognized by the baristas and greeted with a warm welcome. The vibes here are happy, warm and so friendly both by the patrons and employees. They offer some seating inside although it is busy. Also a selection of pastries, sandwiches, smoothies and grab and go drinks. A large amount of the menu is vegan friendly and again rare to see it priced this well. I’ll definitely be back :)“

The owner Joseph was incredible to talk to and provided nothing more than kindness and heart. “I've been coming to Bea's since I was a child. I love this bakery. I remember the original location on Ventura Blvd & Topanga Cyn. That was in the 1960s and 70s. Bea was always there, and she was lovely. Whenever a child comes into Bea's and give them a cookie. I told one of the employees about that. He gave me a cookie. We laughed, and I thanked him. It was great!“

We keep saying that these macaroons are infinitely better than any brand of macaroons from a grocery store. Without exaggeration, I can honestly say that Pascal's coconut-chocolate macaroons are the best we ever had. I like them even better than the gluten free flourless chocolate cake (for Passover)- which, by the way, was superb. Lunch - the Tuna sandwich and the avocado toast are symphonies of flavor! While these goodies are not inexpensive, they are absolutely worth every penny. The service is prompt and quick. The ambiance is that of a small European bistro. The front counter and dining area is very cozy and well appointed. The menus are on the wall and fresh baked goods displayed, as well as Armenian groceries. I ordered the Maneishe Extra pita wrap. “A perfectly fine little donut shop in Simi Valley. I'm always on the hunt for new donut spots and this one caught our eye as we were traveling through town. Lady running the counter was nice and helpful throughout the exchange. I felt like for a late afternoon they had a pretty and impressive selection of donuts to still choose from, so this is a selling point. Great selection of donuts and also a lot of different smoothies or bobas you could choose from. The reason for the 4 stars opposed to 5 is simply that there wasn't nothing in particular that wowed me or put it into the category of the best donuts shops I've been to. This spot definitely has a great selection and donuts were good, you'll be happy if you find this spot and put it on your rotation. I also observed that the prices were a little on the higher side then some of my local spots so I took that into consideration too but I get with the cost of living and ingredients everywhere going up they have to make a profit, so I'm not bothered just noting I can get equally as good of a donut for cheaper closer to my home. A nice little donut shop in Simi valley for sure, give them a try and kudos to their great selection throughout the day.“
