“While visiting the area we stopped in for breakfast and lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the warm greeting from the staff. As this was our first visit to Jack in the Box they were very patience as we ordered. Our family enjoyed the food. Our party had several breakfast items as well as burgers and fries, chicken sandwiches and a shake. All of our food was hot and cooked to perfection.“

“First time here since they first opened two years ago. Fast service! Have an “A” rating in the window. Very clean! Many menu items. Italian to Mexican! Customers coming in while we waited for our order seemed to all be on a first name basis with a small community feel. Lots of fist bumping going on! Lol Seemed everybody knew each other by their first names. The chicken burrito that we split was good. A customer who was already there eating her lunch when we arrived, got up and went out of her way to let the owner know that she really enjoyed her fish tacos ??. She said they were excellent! So may have to give those a try next time! Great place for a quick bite! Catering seems to be offered.“

“I just stopped by today and had a great experience here. I got carnitas and al pastor street tacos and they were unbelievable. Such great flavors in the meat. Also the green and red salsa were very complimentary (red salsa is smoky spicy yum). Got the asada quesadilla for the kids (of course I had a bite) and was really pleased with the asada flavor too! Even the sour cream is great, homemade you can tell. The attention to quality is apparent!I am super glad because the first few times I was not impressed. Maybe I got the wrong things, and it seemed expensive, but everything was great at the service was great as well! It was only $20 and was enough food for 3 adults. Saw they have really good $12 lunch deals now too. Can't wait to come back!!“

“A hidden gem. The decor and atmosphere is incredible, music selection is great, and the staff are very friendly. We were able to get coffee and sit for hours, talking and reading. The place was pretty quiet for St pattys Sunday. Definitely worth seeing if you are in the area“

“Their food never disappoints. I go from the carne asada torta to the tacos and still can't decide which I like best. The meat, asada or carnitas, is always good and smells great and the beans and rice . Their salsas are really good. I always get this through Door Dash (had not idea it was a food truck) so if you order on there remember to add your request for the salsa.“

“Best birria food truck around here. The queso birria tacos is so bomb- the tortilla is warmly coated in the spicy broth and oozing with cheese. “Birria Del Valle is my go to birria spot in The San Fernando Valley. I would go as far to say it's the best of all LA county. I've had thier mulittas, quesabirria and had for the first time today thier Birria Noodles in which all have been outstanding in taste, filling and freshness. It's a must try no doubt & mock my words when I say you will keep coming back. If I could rate it's overall quality, it's beyond a five star rating.“

“The pozole here is incredible according to my family and they love the unique taste and love coming here. I personally got the lengua burrito and I’m going to be honest here it was alright. The waitress was really helpful at making things right whenever we had a problem with our food but also making sure we were enjoying it. Very friendly staff. The inside seating is a little cramped if you come in with five plus people.Parking: The parking for this place is very cramped and holds about 7 cars without it being maxed out.Kid-friendliness: Super friendly to kids. My little sister didn’t like the burrito and the waitress speaker to her in a kind way asking what she can do to make it right.“

“I'm taking back my 5 stars and giving it 1 star, Disappointed on the second run, the meat was dry and the guacamole was water and no taste the and the chips were old all this 44 dollars and the owner would refund half for the discusting was taseless guacamole.“

“Literally obsessed. It's an upscale take out taco fusion restaurant of my dreams. Everything there is good, refreshing, flavorful, and unique. It is worth a visit and to try different tacos - and the SPECIALS are also always soooo good. The worst part is that I can usually only eat 2, maybe 3, and so I can't get all the different ones I want... love this place!!!!!!!!!!!Vegetarian options: There is a tempura avocado taco that is literally to die for and i'm obsessed. Other options clearly labled on their menu and can also be modifiedDietary restrictions: one of the owner's daughters is vegan, so there are some specials made just for her that are available and anything can be modified for vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options!Parking: always ample parking - have never had a problem and have never had to park far away.Kid-friendliness: very kid friendly food options (can get "normal" beef tacos and burritos/quesadillas etc chips..)Wheelchair accessibility: very easy wheelchair access - it's right near the curb/ramp, and has double doors and tables with moveable chairs“

“They always hold us down. After a lit night, when we want something cheap, or just when I'm fixing for tacos. Best I've had in the valley and better than anything I've had in Ventura county too. Shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, pastor tacos, and those damn birria tacos . And I love the onion that comes with it. Just beware of the hot salsa, if you get everything included on your food - it will be spicy.The only thing that wasn't the best was the birria burrito, and damn that was kinda good too! But I'd probably try something else next time I want a burrito or get consomé with it. It was a little dry without it.“

“Very good! The service was friendly and great--very helpful in helping us decide what to order. The goat taco was surprisingly good! Enjoyed the shredded beef empanada, which was huge and topped with avocado and lettuce. We ordered the horchata- which was yummy. They gave it to us while we waited for the food (it was a hot day), and then topped it off for us when the food came! They do have small chairs to sit on and plenty of shade. Highly recommend--we will go back.“

“Where do I even start. Every time I come to this spot, they never miss. This is by far the most consistent taco stand I've ever been to. Their burritos are the best ones I've ever had in my life. This is equivalent to getting street tacos in Mexico. 10/10 recommend. (Their al pastor is euphoric)“

“Decided to stop by & try this spot since we were in the area. We arrived at a good time luckily there was parking available right in front of the shop which is located in a small plaza. They have varies of food options, we decided to go with the California burrito which has birria and fries inside. The burrito is rather good. (Next time I hope to try their birria ramen) We ordered a strawberry agua fresca with the rim it was good my bf liked it soo much he wanted to buy the rim itself. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again.“

Dining inside its always looking clean and neat, but what really has me astonished is the staff. “Shekos Tacos represents the single greatest improvement to the Pacific Palisades in years. That may sound like a bold and perhaps audacious statement, yet it is absolutely correct: street taco vendors are the essence of what makes Los Angeles such a wonderful city. Until Shekos arrived in the Palisades, the suburban town lacked an affordable and flavorful nighttime dining option. One simply did not exist in the Palisades. The employees are kind and the portions are generous. They also keep their food production and surrounding areas notably clean and free of debris. But all is not peaceful in the land of Palisadian tacos: a coalition of angry karens has petitioned the local grocery store, Ralphs, to hire a law firm to harass the local taco vendors. Over the past few weeks, the firm (Davis Wright and Tremaine) has dispatched a representative to threaten the local daytime taco truck owners as well as the nighttime pop-up workers at Shekos. The law firm and the palisades karens are hoping that they can intimidate the small business owners into submission. These lame and arrogant individuals thrive on the suffering of others and seek to impose their will on the business people who have greatly improved the palisades. The anti-taco karens cannot be allowed to succeed in their quest to make every single establishment in the palisades an over-regulated, overpriced, bland nightmare. The type of people who are trying to run the taco vendors out of town are most likely the same type of people who would yell at people for not taking the covid vaccines or wearing masks two years ago: those who thrive on exerting petty control over the lives of others for no reason other than to fuel their own sense of self-importance and ego. Long live the taco vendors!“

“Went to Kluckin Chicken and was greeted by a nice young man named Arthur. Asked him for his recommendation and it was the Chicken Quesadilla and boy was he on the money. I am not a big fan of different cheeses in my food but this was probably one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Make sure that you eat it with the sauce that it comes with. My son decided to stick with his normal order of getting chicken tenders. At first I thought the prices here were absolutely ridiculous after paying $43 for two people but when you get your order and see how much food you get.This is like getting lunch and dinner for most people so the value for what you get made it easier to swallow the bill .Fries were OK and could have used a little bit more seasoning but once you dip them in the sauce it makes it all better.“

“This truck is so successful that they don’t even need a google profile, but I am super happy to be helping add to it because this place deserves thousands of reviews. I only know one other truck that appears to get close to as much business every single day they are open, but there are never as many people happily in line anywhere else. This is the type of truck that has multiple families eating in the parking lot and a line waiting for most of the night. Make sure you bring cash because this is a CASH ONLY business and if you come during the dinner rush, prepare to wait a little bit in line. I could have gone every night if I wanted to, but I truly saved this spot for special occasions, showing friends a new spot, long days, and/or when I needed my ultimate comfort food.They really stack every taco, burrito, and quesadilla with whatever you like. I got my usual on the night of my photos: A quesadilla with carne asada, a little al pastor, and (if they have it) pineapple. Probably not traditional, but my untraditional pallet has never let me down! You have all the standard toppings at the end to stack on top to you own liking. The onion and jalapeno blend is rather spicy, so be careful if you aren’t used to it! The green avocado sauce at the end is my favorite for flavor without spice (I wish I knew the name of it.. Is it Avocado Tomatillo salsa?? I’m probably wrong…). Anyways.. I like to use that sauce heavily for the flavor and the onion and jalapeno mix lightly for the spice, but there are plenty of spicy sauce options if that is what you are looking for. If you stop by later in the night they might not have any more cheese, but if they do have cheese you can ask for it melted on the inside of the tortilla for your burrito for $1 extra!I wish I could say I tried more of their options, because they all look amazing every time, but I’m a creature of habit and I’ve only had their asada and pastor in tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. But everyone I see ordering gets one of those so I think it’s pretty unanimously the three most popular options with whatever meat you prefer.I can’t explain how much this spot gets my highest recommendations for street comfort food! “I'm in LA for the next few weeks and I've made it my goal to try as many tacos as I can. Stop number 1 was Tacos DeSoto. It was super easy to find right on the road and there was street parking. they make the tacos as you order them and I had a short wait. The customer service was outstanding. The owners are super nice and welcoming. They do take cash and card. I ordered chorizo and steak mix tacos with spicy sauce and cilantro, onion toppings. They were $3/taco and I paid $9 total. They also have drinks on site and a small seating area out front. The tacos were cooked perfectly the perfect size and they were delicious. The steak was extremely tender and it wasn't super oily so the taco stayed together while I was eating it. This is a great place to stop for a quick grab and go lunch.“

“The Woodland Hills location has a bigger space and more tables available during the busy hours compared to another location. Less wait time for a table to free up. Also, it really helps when you have an employee like Mauricio who seems to be running the place like clockwork during lunch and dinner rush hours. From the time he took the order until we sat down, he helped ensure my senior mother was served promptly at her table. He went above and beyond in terms of serving a handicapped senior at the table since there are no waiters at these food chains. He did this while also making sure all the other food orders were properly dispensed from the kitchen for all the other customers. Excellent multi-tasking service by Mauricio!“
