“I LOVE this place! Though it may seem small, it makes up for that tenfold in heart. The person working the bakery window was so kind, and the slices of fresh pie were heated up for us, so how could we say no to a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top?! I enjoyed the berry and apple slice, and I also bought a frozen pie of the same variety to take home. Their selection of goods in the shop and frozen items is terrific!“

“Popped by here after jury duty in Placerville and oh my... These sweet treats were perfect!! This place is such a cute little bakery with lots to choose from! I got their chocolate chip cookie, and it is just how I like them -- so soft, not too sweet, and almost like cookie dough! I also got the oatmeal thin mint cookie, which sounded interesting at first but wanted to try, and it was delightful! It's not too sweet and had a perfect balance with the mint. I also tried their coconut macaroons which were amazing! Reminded me of how my mom makes them! Thank you for such a wonderful treat! I definitely need to come back to try the gelato, which looked AMAZING.“
“This market was a great find for me. Only been to this area a couple of times. We were visiting friends and they took us here for the first time on Saturday afternoon around 4pm. There was plenty of parking and it wasn't busy or crowded. The market is clean and very open. All items looked great and I wish we were able to try some things so we could buy it....There is a small outbuilding that is designated for "tasting" but the employee who was there wasn't very friendly and we didn't really feel welcomed. We tried one thing and then left the tasting building. (We were a little disappointed at how this area was being operated). The rest of the market was great! There is a bargain table that had some amazing deals and I was told by my friend (she's a local) this is the area to shop first! There are locally made wines and cinders. They even have a tasting if you want to pay for it. We actually purchase a bottle of wine (Blackberry apple? Yum!) and two ciders (pomegranate and blackberry -Yum). We definitely want to come back here when we in the area again.“
“A small but mighty bakery! Tucked down a little shopping walkway on Main St, this bakery is a gem in Placerville! Everything is gluten free, but you'd never know it!All of the pastries I tried for my first visit were delicious. I tried the Entremet, Banana Walnut Maple Scone, Eclair, and a Meringue Lemon tart. They were all flavorful and moist. The staff was helpful and pleasant which is always a bonus! There aren't many good (any?) bakeries in Placerville so definitely consider them when looking for pastries!“

“I walked into Gracie’s hoping for a small last minute cake for my best friends court house ceremony and the ladies were so helpful and easy to communicate with. I ordered a vanilla cake with strawberry filling. You can’t tell from the photo, but they added sparkles to the icing which made it look simple and elegant. Cake was perfect and tasted delicious!“

“Thank you to the staff for accommodating our dog on the deck. The sausage gravy was a little under-seasoned in my opinion and we prefer our bacon more crispy, but the sourdough was excellent and the pancakes and syrup were definitely a highlight. Great portion sizes.“

“We got here right when they opened, so it wasn't crowded at all. The donuts and cider were amazing! They had tons of things to choose from nuts, apples, crafts, etc. The staff was friendly, too, despite the early hour. This is one of our favorite places to visit on our yearly trip to Apple Hill. They layout was well thought out too. The aisles weren't super narrow, so that's nice for when it does get busy.“
