“Loved this little diner. It was our first time there and we weren't disappointed. The waiters were friendly and patient as we weren't sure what to order. Our waiter was very accommodating to my order as well. It was quiet and clean, and there was plenty of seating inside. I'm not sure how it gets on the weekends as we went during the week.“
“Amazing and very good. We had been wanting to come here for a while and today after so many years living out here we finally decided to stop by. We were seated right away and they also accommodated our stroller. The host was super nice and kind and asked us for our drinks. Our server came by right away and asked if we were ready. She took our order and then refilled our coffees and water while we waited. The food came out in a timely manner and let me tell you it was sooo good. My hubby's sirloin dish was the bomb. The steak was juicy and tender and the Mexican potatoes were amazing. I had the hotcakes with bacon and eggs and added hashbrowns. It was so much food that I ended up taking two pancakes home. The portions are so big but it is worth every buck and not too pricey. I appreciated the great service we received from our server. I didn't get her name but I will for sure ask her next time . The inside is so cute reminds me of an old Italian restaurant and appreciate the stained glass. That is a beautiful piece of art that isn't so common anymore. Next time I will also try the chilaquiles.“
“My go to breakfast spot in SCV. Large portions and quality food. I never have a complaint when I come here when it comes to the food. I loved what I got this time, there was chunks of hot dog in it, and their yummy chili. I still have leftovers and it's been like 2 days haha. Service wise always friendly as well. Super quick to get to ya if ya need something. This place is always busy. I still love the feel of the inside. I also love that they support our community by helping out the dance team!“
“There are restaurants with a million options (talking about you, Cheesecake Factory).. and then there's Way station, a landmark of a diner (in Old Town Newhall in the SCV) since opening for business in February 1971. Their menu is limited and has not changed much, yet there is always a wait to dine in and locals are constantly coming back for their all day breakfast options. They must have figured something out successfully if around 900 pounds of coffee and thirty dozen eggs are used a week, amirite?! Also, if you happen to forget to bring your smartphone, there's license plates from all over the world mounted on the interior walls to doom scroll through“
“Cute spot with your standard diner fare. But believe me, the taste was out of this world good. We shared a Patty melt, which was delicious & served on a nice rye bread. Grilled onions & the patty prepared perfectly exactly as ordered. It is nice to be asked how you would like your burger prepared. Fries for a side were an extra charge , which was a little surprising but they were nice & "meaty" for fries and seasoned with black pepper, which was tasty. The food definitely has a great homemade taste & feel . I mean this in the best way. When paying , the server asked if we needed change. I had given him $30 on $23.81. Yes please I said . They brought back a 5 & a 1 no small change. Ok. I still need change from the 5. I feel like I shouldn't have to ask this again not to mention I felt shorted & weird about asking Again for change from them. They did bring back some ones & I gave them a 4$ tip. But I am kinda asking myself why do I feel like this about this interaction. I would have handled this differently then our server did. Just bring ones & don't embarrass your guests this way. The food was really good & we would go again given the chance.“
“Quite place hidden behind hotels off the main strip. Service was fast, friendly, and cheerful.Would have given 5 stars but the messed up order.Other than that, it was great service. Would stop again if in the area.We ordered multiple items from the breakfast and lunch menu.“
“Denny's is a restaurant that does not fail, its menu is very good and you will always find what you are looking for. In this particular location we noticed a strange smell, although it was not invasive, it was perceptible. I highlight the attention of the service staff who were very friendly, attentive and recommended alternatives to the menu.“
“Honestly not sure how this place could get less than 5 stars. I had to meet my client for inspections at our new escrow and thought, what the heck. I haven't been to Dennys in a while.I ordered the pumpkin pancake grand slam with coffee. I had the nicest waitress, she was very friendly, all the staff were attentive and the food arrived quickly and as it was on the menu...although I should've ordered more bacon...you can never go wrong with more bacon.I was there for a couple of hours (I was early) and they were fine with me staying and let me get some work done. I came around 10:30AM and it wasn't too busy but right at lunch the crowd started to come in. Nice ambiance, it was very clean! So, I would say give this place a chance. I had a great experience and would definitely come back!“
