“My favorite type of no b.s. diner. No gimmicks, no show. Great food and cash only. The best places on earth are cash only. I get to sit there and roll my eyes as all the douchebags who start to fumble around when they realize they don’t have cash to pay for their food, pure entertainment.“
“I love this place. I feels like one of those American malls in the 90's when the economy was good. Also they have a GNC vitamin store, stores that sell Air Jordans, and a frekkin Cinnabon! Sabarro is always on point especially with that pasta.?“
“Despite living in L.A. throughout most of the 1990s, I never even knew Panns existed until I began coming back to L.A. to visit family. I am so sorry I missed out on what could have been so many great memories coming here as a teenager. I generally don't eat inside restaurants, and there aren't a whole lot of diners that I've had experiences in at all, but this place immediately made me feel like I had been coming for years. I went with my cousin and his girlfriend (regulars) and we had a great dining experience. I thought that this was the diner from "Pulp Fiction, but it's not. The pancakes are the best in L.A County. I didn't have the chicken and waffles, but I will next time. The staff are friendly, and the customers always come off as nice and happy to be here. Pann's is now my first/last stop on my way from/to the airport.“
“It was great to eat with family!!I chose All U Can, and the meat quality was better than I expected. In particular, the brisket and marinated ribs were really good. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed my meal to the fullest!!The valet parking fee was $10, which was too expensive, so I used street parking nearby.“
“Got here before they open and there was a line of people waiting already. Once we got in all the people in line got tables. Food was great and was served pretty fast.Parking: Parking lot across the street ($4), lots of metered parking around place . If you get metered parking and leave before 8am it will be free..“
“The service was super fast they took us, a party of 3, in immediately. The food was delicious best of any Denny's I have had. The only thing better than the food was our server Jose R. He was supper attentive, my cup was always full and honestly super nice!I will be definitely be returning to this Denny's whenever I have a chance“
“A fantastically cozy breakfast diner right next to LAX. I have made it a ritual to have Wendy's before an early flight and it makes the whole airport experience much better. Great staff, great food, great prices, great atmosphere, great crowd.“
“Highly recommended. The Denae's Slam is so good. The doctored up hash browns were great. The only negative was that the sausage was a little overcooked. The$5.00 Bloody Mary's were VERY tasty! Our server, Carla, was very pleasant and thorough. Thanks, Carla.“
“I had the trout dish, spinach and mash potatoes. I would've given it five stars, but the flavor was a bit unseasoned. However, it was perfectly cooked and fresh. I would of course return and try more things! My mentor had the French toast dish, we came here on her mention and it was wonderful. We saw outside and could see the ocean from our view - the overall ambience was incredible. I seen a sign saying that it was open all night and I think that is really awesome! I can't wait to return. “I was having a pretty bad day and then me and some of my friends decided to make a trip down to the beach, my cousin Giovanni recommended this place and while hesitant we decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival we marveled at the glorious atmosphere. I ordered a grilled chicken melt which was fantastic, but the most glorious part of the night came when the lovely waitress offered if we wanted a slice of pie I was again hesitant as I have never tried a banana pie and wouldn't see myself enjoying it. As soon as it was brought out and I took a bite and I took a glance at my friend then my cousin and we all looked at each other in disbelief, we questioned ourselves but ultimately concluded that this was the best pie we had ever tried. The pie was so creamy and the bananas toppings and filling really brought it all together. The breading was like the Lord himself gave instructions on how to make it. In that moment when me and my companions glanced at each other I felt a sense of togetherness it brought me back to my childhood when my single mother would come home and bake me and my siblings a nice fresh pie. Ecclesiastes 9:7“
“It's a Denny's, but it's well kept and they play pretty decent music on the speakers. Our server Maria was amazing, we had a steady stream of fresh coffee and the food was piping hot when it came out. It's classic American Diner Breakfast fare, but for $6.99 for a full breakfast what's not to love. Great spot and we will be back again to have breakfast with Grandpa.“
“We started with milkshakes (one of which was the Vegan Cookies and Cream) and both tasted delicious. I was excited to find a place that offered a Dairy Free Milkshake option. For dinner we had the Fried Chicken and a Burger, both portions were plenty and very delicious. Waiter was friendly and informative. Atmosphere was great as well.Dietary restrictions: There were vegan/non-dairy options available.“
“The food is always inexpensive and delicious. The service is always excellent and very friendly. The servers always remember what I like to drink and bring it to me before I even order it. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. I highly recommend Teddy's.“
“truly the greatest experience. Had a party of 40+ people. Our servers were Maria, Cynthia and Arturo and WOW! They were absolutely amazing, kind, and patient with my party. Orders and requests made left and right. Kids running amuck, but these 3 stayed professional and patient. I will definitely return. The customer service from Maria, Cynthia and Arturo is definitely a reason to return. Thank you MALIA, CYNTHIA and ARTURO.“
“Cute and vintage on the inside, too nice though to not sit on the sidewalk patio. Prices are steeper than indicated--$$-$$$. So much gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan selection though, and safely labeled. As in they seem to really understand cross contamination and not joist call something GF even though it then goes in the frier. Anyway, all day breakfast with both the enchiladas and juevos rancheros we're truly out of this world. The sauces, the fresh guac, cilantro, came out hot and so visually appealing I didn't stop to take a photo. Shakes were unbelievably creamy. Kids had what looked like the best burgers of their lives on fresh toasted rolls, thick melty cheese, and lacy crisp edges on the beef. The onion rings looked, sounded, and smelled amazing but I didn't eat one... gluten. Would absolutely come back, highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options, offered impossible to protein upgrade entries.Dietary restrictions: Seem to truly get cross contamination.“
“Enjoyed sitting outdoors with my daughter and two granddaughters after their Kaiser appointments. I had a very tasty Turkey Club sandwich with waffle fries, while my daughter enjoyed a great omelette and her kids had mini-Belgian waffles with sprinkles. Just Perfect!!“
“Thank you for ending my friendversary/420 weekend with a blast. The strawberry stuffed French toast was amazing. The servers were very friendly. Clean atmosphere, clean restroom. My friend had a double cheese burger with the seasoned fries and it was so delicious. Every bite was juicy. The seasoned fries are on point also. And thank you for the coffee. We had a amazing time today. We will be returning.???“
“An interesting cafe location inside a bowling alley, but it gives you that homey island life like you would find in Hawaii. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try and test out the authenticity and I must say they are all legit. Their Misoyaki Butterfish has a nice texture, a bit of sweetness and flavor from Miso and a buttery taste. The Lau Lau (steamed pork wrapped inside Taro leaves) and Kim Chi fried rice with Portuguese sausages are savory and super flavorful to each bite. The Saimin (Hawaiian soft wheat egg noodles with char siu) is exactly how it should taste just like in Hawaii. We got a Loco Moco plate to go and it did not disappoint because the gravy has a nice texture and flavor to it. We will definitely be back in the near future to try other dishes.“
“Food is delicious. Service is prompt. They try to keep the ambiance like the 40s or 50s. Fun blast from the past. Johnny rocket’s wishes they were the Apple Pan.If you’re looking for something fancy, this isn’t it… but if you’re looking for something fun, good food, & fast service, this is your place.Parking can be difficult.“
“Marquellia was our waitress and she was amazing. Always checking up on us, so sweet our coffee got refilled constantly and on time by our busser. Food was fantastic as always I forgot to put syrup on the pancakes because of how sweet and delicious they already are. It really is the service members and cooks that make this place an icon of Los Angeles. GIVE THEM A RAISE.“
“I LOVE THE VIBE OF THIS PLACE -- Old Fashioned. The customer service was real good too. When we walked in, we were greeted & told to sit wherever. The waiter answered the questions we had about the menu & then recommended a few things to us. We ended up getting the 2 things that he recommended -- The International Omelette & The Three Stooges. My fiance said the bacon was cooked perfectly unlike the bacon he had at Denny's. My daughter loved the Belgian waffle & ate the whole thing. My other daughter had the kids breakfast meal & she ate everything -- eggs, bacon, pancakes. I had the omelette & it was interesting how they put the regular square cheese on top of the finished omelette instead of putting shredded cheese on the inside. There was definitely a lot of meat in that omelette. However, I couldn't finish the hash browns because it did taste a little off for me, idk if it was because it was too oily. Also, when the other waitress gave our food, we were just sitting there waiting because there weren't enough forks so we had to ask for more when she came by but I like how she apologized. Another thing I liked is how we didn't have to wait for our check & how she dropped the check off to us when she saw we were almost finished & said "no rush. whenever you're ready." It made our time there go by smoothly because when having small children, you know how they get when they're done eating & just want to play around so you want to get out of there asap lol.“
“I can’t say enough good things about Snug Harbor! The food, service and atmosphere are amazing! Besides the super cute indoor diner area, there are 2 levels of outdoor seating where dogs are welcome! The avocado toast with egg and a mimosa are my go to faves ?“
“I've been going to Ronnie's a couple times a month for the last few years. My go to was always the pancake special or French toast special. I'd recommend either of those anytime! Lately I've been getting the chiliquiles. I absolutely love them. I went yesterday and was told there's a new menu (photos included with new prices) and the chiliquiles now come with green sauce. Red sauce is not an option. I was so disappointed because I really wanted them and I do not like green sauce. Most places use the red sauce or at least give you the option of red or green. Very disappointed that's not the case here. Now I'll have to go somewhere else to get this dish“
“Rae's is a blast from the past, an original 1950's tiny diner! Perfect for breakfast. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants such as Mel's Diner. Presentation of food is not important here. They bring out the food fast! This is not a fancy diner, but rather a simple cozy local breakfast diner that has not changed much since the 1950s in decor.I had the Rae's Special Omelette which is chunks of chicken, onions zucchini and cheese. The omelette was a bit hard, not soft and fluffy, but it was tasty with the breakfast potatoes and toast. This was under $12.My friend ordered the 2 eggs, 2 sausage and biscuit. The gravy was an extra .69 cents. She enjoyed her meal.On Sunday around 10:30am, the wait for two was not bad at all. Service was good, service with a smile, even though they were short staffed. They all worked very hard.Restrooms are located from the outside patio. You will need to ask the staff for the code to unlock them.Park on the side streets. Read the parking signs carefully to avoid any parking tickets.“
“Our Elite Tabletop Family cannot say enough great things about Cafe 50’s! From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. The staff @ Cafe 50’s take pride in their customer service & establishment and they deserve all the recognition! You have our family’s support for life Cafe 50’s! We would ❤️ to support you, supporting the local community!“
“I came with my coworkers and special need adults for brunch and all 15 of us was well taken care of by the amazing Alejandra, who made sure we were comfortable and food getting out quickly. Can’t wait to come back for her smiles and warm personal touch. Thank you!!!!!!“
“A relic to visit if you are in Studio City. Up there in status like Mel's Diner or Bob's Big Boy this little burger shop situated in a decomissioned train car has great food and an awesome setting to enioy it in. I have come here since I was a kid, I have seen alot change in the area and it is still around after all this time. They have got it down and I hope they will be around for my kids to experience!“
“The wait was a little bit but it was worth it. I wish I'd have taken photos of everyone's breakfast! I ordered the French Omelet - egg whites, garlic, basil, zucchini, (no tomato) and boursin cheese with hash browns and English Muffin. Absolutely delicious ? Nice presentation and all items were fresh, served hot. The coffee was flavorful and also hot. I'd highly recommend and look forward to going back and trying something else.“
“My second time here and I ordered the pecan and banana pancake combo with portuguese sausage. The sausage was delicious and the pancakes were amazing. I put a little butter and syrup on the pancakes and think next time I would just use a little more butter and no syrup. The pancakes were sweet just by themselves. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.“
“Good breakfast joint with friendly service and a simple but satisfying menu. Very attentive wait staff.Vegetarian options: Lots of egg options for breakfast.Parking: Pretty busy but parking is available.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with kids menu.“
“Love this place and sad they will be closing the building which is a historic landmark for a while...not sure if they will reopen it as Dinah's in the future..so many memories there my hubby asked me out in this booth and it is where our love story began many decades ago.“
“Nice diner in burbank. Offers the standard food you would expect. Very busy with a nice outdoor seating area. I had avocado toast & eggs, our friend had a bowl of chili & chicken Caesar salad . Nice hot & fresh food. Service was on point and we enjoyed lunch here. I was a little suprised they upcharged for some cheese & onions for the chili. Most places offer it standard with a bowl & you can say no if you dont want it. it wasn't an outrageous charge, it just suprising. The deserts in the case looked quite delicious so we may come back to try those next time.“
“The pan has nailed all fundamentals in running a diner. Food is great, service is always great & coffee is top notch. I have tried the steak & eggs $(23)amazing, chicken & waffle $19 eh the chicken piece was small you’re better off with the AmazING BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN if you’re up to getting a little naughty , comes with a cornbread pancake under the meal so the tasty sauce is kinda making it all even better. In terms of flavor & experience Buttermilk Fried chicken is the go to. Orange juice freshly squeezed & tasty lemonade. I’ll keep coming back.“
“I would say they have my favorite breakfast burrito in all of Beverly Hills. The name is a bit misleading though I would not call it a diner more so a Mexican restaurant that also has a few classic American breakfast combo dishes. It’s more designed to go, but there are tables inside, which is what I chose to do for breakfast this morning. Service was really quick and I didn’t have to wait very long for my food. They don’t have a parking lot but metered street parking is easy to find in this part of town. They have a very large menu with a lot of the classic Mexican dishes, but they are most well-known for their breakfast burritos. Being my first time I wanted to try that so I ordered the La Neta and Chori Burritos. Both were really great but La Neta was my favorite because crema and avocado are the secret combo to make any breakfast burrito a great one. I would recommend to anyone searching for a solid breakfast or lunch option in Beverly Hills.“
“Wowzerz!!! This place has got to be the best kept secret eatery in LA period OMG! A true hidden gem! I'm from the Bay Area, and the place I'm at is in Beverly Hills and wow the food is amazing classic American, with a few exceptions to the rule like Teriyaki chicken bowl and Teriyaki Salmon bowls, Chinese Chicken Salads, and burritos! What! Yes! This is must place to visit while in LA hands down. If your from LA and don't know about this place, stop by and get to know it, it will be your new favorite place to eat!“
“First time here for Dinner with Family and a loved one visiting from out of town. Pleasantly welcomed by our delightful Waitress. We placed our orders from their Menu. The Fried Chicken Dinner x 2, Hamburger with Fries, and a Turkey Dinner. For dessert two slices of pies. The food was delicious and service was very good! I recommend Astros! Thank you“
“Super fun place off of Hollywood. The space is clearly decorated to be photographed and it is super cute. The service was really nice and attentive and quick. The manager spoke with us at one point too and was super friendly. The food was okay. I liked that they had vegan options. I got the breakfast platter. The vegan eggs and sausage were good. The pancakes were okay. The portion was huge. There wasn't anything wrong with the food and I liked it, just wasn't in love with it. I did get a cocktail also that had fruit pebbles on the rim and that was fun and tasted good. A cool place overall.“
“Iggy's has some the best tasting fries I've had. And, I love fries. Everything we ordered good. And, the price is right!Vegetarian options: I had an egg and potato breakfast burrito at lunchtime; it tasted good, well seasoned no need for anything else. Everything we ordered there was good.Parking: Parking Sketchy.Wheelchair accessibility: yes, wide doors and lanes“
“This is your typical coffee shop with decent food. Enjoyed the burger with seasoned fries.I am concerned for the current and future employees as our dinner was delivered to our table by a robot. While it entertained the other dinners the future looks bleak as the need for human employees diminishes.“
“Food could've been good, but the chicken strips were fried in old oil and the spicy skillet was swimming in oil. I had to throw the strips away.Update 11/19/23 Maria S. is great! She's very professional and has a really positive disposition. Thank you!“
“We have been waiting for a long time when a big restaurant that serves standard American breakfasts opens in our area. Finally! First of all, it is still clean and I hope it will be kept in a proper way to stay clean as long as possible. Lots of tables inside which I personally like. It creates a specific atmosphere when many people come to enjoy time and food in one place. In the morning there were lots of seniors which is wonderful! The portions were huge for me personally. We had scrambled eggs, veggie omelette, hash browns and pancakes with blueberry syrup. Everything was delicious! The service was really nice! Our servant name was Fernando. Thank you, Fernando! So, I am very glad we have this restaurant in Hollywood!“
“Our little one was having difficulty sleeping, so we decided to have a late dinner at our local Denny's. Overall, we were greeted by the manager and seated promptly. The atmosphere was good but hearing that we're being audio recorded and videotaped was a little alarming. Our server, Alex was probably one of the best servers we've had dining out especially late at night. He was very friendly, efficient, very polite and well-mannered. His service was very prompt and he refilled drinks, and coffee timely. He checked in on us and made sure that we were doing well. We really enjoyed Alex as our server and we hope that the Denny's corporate team recognize him.“
