“Great beers and great pizza. I always go with the bbq chicken because its so good. They have great hazy beers as well. Cool setup they got being able to see into their massive brewery, 2 stories that can accomodate many large parties, tvs for sports, and even Arcade video games“

“This is a pretty cool spot! Somehow, I reviewed the winery but not the brewery, despite trying both since they are at one location. I was happy to see that it was okay to bring our kids and socialize with friends. I enjoyed their lighter beers as I'm no longer an IPA type a girl. It's amazing how your palate changes over the years. The bar tenders were really kind and had no issues with getting beer and recommendations. It's a good spot to enjoy with friends and will definitely come check it out again.“

You can’t go wrong with the service that is provided, especially by Rob. His kind and smiling face always trying to convince me to drink beer. But, I enjoy Carrruth wines! The wines are very enjoyable. The best part is the service provided by Morgan. Not only does she know what I like but she is really good about having me try new wines. “Visiting for the weekend and of all the places we went to this was by far the best. Food. Staff. Service. Atmosphere. Dog friendly. Indoor/outdoor seating (heaters on outside when we visited). “This is a great place. The people are kind, helpful and friendly. The staff is alert/aware something that I don't see all that often. The beer selection is good and the bartender helped me decide what to order, which turned out to be just what I wanted. The layout of the tavern is open yet cozy with a welcoming vibe and a fine, long bar. There are window tables where the windows open out to people strolling along the street and has several different types of seating choices. This place has a corner entrance door which I happen to find very inviting. I like it's location in downtown Old Town Vista.“
“Our first time visiting this place. We went last Saturday night to watch the “Horseshoe Lucky Band”. This place was spacious and had several breweries offering a variety of drinks at reasonable prices, an urban winery, and burger joint. Enjoyed listening and dancing to country music.“
“We love the Oceanside brewery and now we love Pub980 in Vista. Their beer is always spot on, whatever you get. But this food was worth coming back for too. Good onion rings and the classic cheese was pretty tasty too. Also, we sat at bar and all the bartenders were all fantastic and nice. I felt like a regular and was our 1st time. I can’t wait to go back.“

“We went down to LEGOLAND, and while I love the bricks, you definitely want to go off property and try all the good food around the area. Best Pizza & Brew was so awesome - quite the line - but it moved quickly. Easy to find a seat and the beer choices were a lot of fun - My Darkest Sour was a big hit - the pizza was delicious as was the rest of our haul - chicken wings on point - garlic knots (actual knots) so good - salad was crispy and fresh. Kids had a blast - open air - with fire out front. Staff was so nice - answered all my questions and all and all I have to say that next time I am down there I will remember to stop in. Loved it - you should go for sure.“
“Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Place was pretty packed along with many TVs on the wall. I ordered the reuben sandwich and it was excellent. We also ordered some nachos and it was loaded. I checked out some pizzas on the table next door and it looked delicious. Highly recommend visiting this location. Cheers“
“Excellent BBQ meat smoked to precision! Ordered a 3 meat combo with 3 sides for $45. It was such a good deal! My favorite side is the potatoes. The tri tip was very scrumptious and juicy. The pull pork was so good I wish I ordered a pull pork sandwich. A few beers on tap including ske IPAs and they were all very good! Everything was great!“
“We were in town for a soccer tournament and Karl Strauss hosted our group easily. We had a very long table on the outside side patio. They also have QR code ordering so everyone can order separately to avoid dealing with a massive split check problem. We ordered the pork chops with potatoes, zucchini, pub burger with fries, a kids meal, and ahi poke nachos. The food was all solid. I don't particularly like the way they make sauces but they accommodated putting everything on the side so I could sauce or not sauce at my leisure.“
