There are a lot of wine bars and wine tasting rooms to choose from in Carlsbad and Encinitas but this place is serious. It's a few blocks off of the main, tourist-ridden downtown area of Carlsbad and has a quiet, warm, separate world ambiance. I felt transported to the countryside, sitting in a barn with no traffic noise and surrounded by casks. Very nice tasting room! There's a wide variety of flavorful wines from grapes sourced locally to northern California. Try the Malbec, it's really special. Not like any other on the market. Big and bold. The tasting room is a cozy room with warm heaters and barrel tables accompanied by knowledgeable & courteous staff. We love this cute winery , it’s a few blocks from our place, great to enjoy a glass or 2, safely walk home ! Tina does a great job ! Most importantly the wines are very good
