The best Chinese vegetarian food in San Diego County, and a great secret that is going away. Will miss Peggy and Denny--and especially the cooking of those talented gentlemen in the paper hats. You have to understand that if the skilled, experienced chefs at Overseas we're behind the scenes of a super modern-looking concept, people would never stop raving about the high-quality, authentic Chinese food. But because it has been around for 40 years and is charmingly out of date, this family-run, old school establishment can be your secret. An entire separate vegetarian menu is one of the highlights. The owners decided to retire after 32 years. I always enjoyed eating there and talking to One less good place to eat and will miss Peggy and everyone who worked there. Best of luck to them, enjoy your retirement.
