“Shortest review ever .. I absolutely love this place and location and every time I go down to Castaic, my youngest, and I have to stop to get the LB roll. 3 of them actually.. 1 roll each and another to share.. Yeah like that... anyhoo The L.B. Roll offers a fusion of flavors with its combination of crab meat, cucumber, and avocado, baked to perfection and topped with succulent lobster and masago. The textures and tastes blend seamlessly, creating a savory experience, call me biased but this is the best role they have and the only role that I get. The attentive friendly, funny and bubbly wait staff adds to the overall enjoyment, making it a must-try for sushi enthusiasts. The sushi chefs make for a fun time. I can't praise them enough because I only eat sushi once a month and I make it a point to drive from Bakersfield to Castaic for their sushi. Thanks for listening. See you there.“
“Today got to check out Yogis Grill. Looked good when I was browsing places to eat so I gave them a shot. Did not disappoint. I ordered the garlic butter noodles with beef and rice and also a half order of their crunch roll. The noodles were tasty, rice was nice and sticky, and the beef was fantastic, great teriyaki flavor, I did get a side of their spicy teriyaki sauce and that made it even better. The roll was good, if you need a quick sushi fix, definitely did that. Service was great, cashier was friendly. Inside was nice where I ate, clean with music playing, seems like a pretty popular spot for lunch from what I seen. Would definitely go back. I want to try the yakisoba noodles next time.“
“Very tasty food, no stomach ache like from crappy fast food, felt great and satisfied after my meal. Service was friendly and nice despite having a self service kiosk, which is a nice touch. The entrance is small and in general is a small space but it felt cozy enough to dine in and it was clean and welcoming.“
“Wow. The restaurant, first of all clean and looks like owner care and keep in good shape, restroom is nice and clean. Table has touch screen with menu with fast software and pictures that I can understand what to order. I ordered Ramen and Philadelphia roll with tempura outside. The roll was amazing with creamy Philadelphia, the rise was gentle and fresh-soft. Amazing. Ramen was so delicious, only the mushrooms were a little bit despicable. I paid $33.95. For this price I will give 5+++.“
“Fantastic fresh fish at a reasonable price, it's cool being able to sit at the sushi bar and watch them make it, as well as being able to chat with the chefs and ask for their recommendation. I do not however recommend bringing any picky eaters or indecisive people here; the menu is huge.“
“This is my go-to pole place in Santa Clarita. Their portions are huge and the staff is so sweet. I love that they always have something new in the menu. Lately, my favorite thing to get has been their ginger rice. I love getting a little miso soup with my bowls, as well.“
“Food is pretty good, but a few things on the menu didn't measure up to what we hoped for. Overall though, I'd say it's a solid choice to try for anyone venturing out for a new sushi spot. It does take quite a while to get your food though and it is a bit loud and stuffy when it is full. Can be a bit overwhelming if you like a relaxing peaceful meal. The last time we went, they off the order wrong after waiting 30 min. The replacement took another 30 minutes and it ended up coming out in pieces for me to assemble myself. Disappointing. Not sure we will be back, but for a one time thing, it's not too bad.“
“We stayed near Six Flags overnight. We came to Tokai 3 times while we were here. Excellent rice, fresh and high quality sea food, traditional... So good... I dont give reviews often but had to foe this place. Pro tip: go for the happy hour/lunch specials for a great deal!“
“I've been going here since 2011. Thirteen years of consistent excellence. The highest quality cuts of fish, fantastic customer service and unique flavor combinations. I live almost 500 miles away in a food mecca but all I dream about is Light and Healthy sushi. Once a year I get the privilege to enjoy this experience. I'm so grateful. Check the photos out.“
“Rolla Sushi & Grill is an absolute gem in Santa Clarita, California, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly sets this place apart. One of the standout features of Rolla Sushi & Grill is the incredibly kind and attentive woman who works there. Her dedication to providing excellent service makes every visit a delightful experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Rolla Sushi & Grill is a culinary adventure waiting to be explored. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, and each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail. From fresh sashimi to mouthwatering rolls and flavorful grilled items, every bite is a taste sensation. What's even more impressive is the affordability of the food. Given the high quality and generous portions, the prices at Rolla Sushi & Grill are incredibly reasonable, especially when compared to other dining options in Santa Clarita. You get fantastic value for your money without compromising on taste or portion sizes. The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. It strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it ideal for a casual meal with friends or a special night out with loved ones.In summary, Rolla Sushi & Grill is a standout dining establishment in Santa Clarita. With a lovely staff member who goes above and beyond, delicious food that exceeds expectations, and prices that won't break the bank, it's no wonder this place has earned such a stellar reputation. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience this culinary treasure for yourself!“
“Excellent! We were a party of nine (5 adults, 4 kids) and everyone took such great care of us. The yellowtail sashimi was some of the best we've had; blue crab hand rolls were delicious, as were all the different rolls we tried. The kids gobbled up the Crunchy and Cali rolls. We'll be making Sushi Song a regular stop for sure!“
“This an amazing place with great sushi, great & respectful service & nice atmosphere.Their Garlic Shrimp Tuna roll is the best!If you want shrimp & vegetable tempura ? with the works & a sushi roll with other rolls, get the Bento box ? Great price too than doing it separately.Enjoy!“
“My wife and I visited I Love Sushi the other day for lunch and we will happily add it to our "Let's go out to lunch" locations. My first impression was it was a nice looking restaurant, well laid out and sharp. Not that it matters much to the taste of the food but it does show the owners are serious about their business when a place looks nice. Our serve Maya was efficient and welcoming so that added to the positive vibe. We didn't order much, we shared a Sushi Combo plate and a Rainbow Roll but it was enough to feed us both. The fish was fresh and the shrimp was sweet. So often the shrimp taste dull in other establishments so it was nice to have something fresh and sweet. Lately there seem to be few good Sushi Chefs left in the Santa Clarita valley. Pick up the average roll and dunk it in Soy Sauce and half the Rice falls into the sauce plate. NOT here. It was like the old days when people knew how to roll a good roll and used the right rise so it hung together until you ate it. Yes we will return.“
“It’s a quiet place 3 miles from six flags. Very frieny n helpful staff but all the protein options looks great n lots of fresh toppings available. I ordered small poke but quantity wise I felt it was medium poke. Sauces were great too. I ordered 2 proteins salmon n tuna.“
“Achita never disappoints. Their sushi is good quality and the service is always consistent and on par. They recognize their regulars and appreciate that they return and they're not afraid to show it in front of everyone else. The baked crab hand roll is something I have a hard time finding elsewhere.“
“The restaurant is huge . They were bit busy when we dined last night , Saturday night which is typical of Santa Clarita! We ordered few appetizers, tempura dynamite, &few other rolls I can't remember. It was serve fairly quick with a smile. Hubby said it was the best tempura he ever had ! So don't wait run to this amazing place for some great sushi !“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kisho Japanese Restaurant, and my experience far surpassed my expectations from a previous visit several years ago. The attentive staff expertly managed our stroller amidst the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere. The culinary creations were truly exceptional, justifying the reasonable price. While there were unforeseen shortages of wine and beer due to the enthusiastic weekend crowd, the staff promptly resolved the matter. The ambiance was perfectly suited for intimate conversations among a small group, maintaining an ideal balance between not being overly subdued and not being excessively boisterous. Kisho Japanese Restaurant is wholeheartedly recommended, and I look forward to returning for another enjoyable dining experience.“
“Nice, higher end Asian restaurant located at the mall. We went and made it for Happy Hour which had decent priced appetizers. We did not drink any alcohol but the bar looked good. Would be a good place to come for a drink and appetizers. We ordered an order of eggrolls (but they brought us 2 which was our fault in how we ordered) and an order of steamed dumplings. Both were very good! For the main meal, we ordered Lemon Chicken and brown rice. We also optioned for the addition of soup and salad for an additional $6. Hubby ate the soup while I had the salad. Both were very good. The main dish portion was huge and, even with sharing the main dish, we had leftovers. For me, I found the Lemon Chicken dry even with the sauce. I would have preferred a more traditional chinese dish with veggies but, based on the menu, options were limited for a dish with veggies. We probably should have ordered a veggie dish and maybe added chicken.Would I go again. I don't think I would go for the full meal but I would consider going for Happy Hour. Drinks and a few apps would be good and not as pricey!“
“Been coming to this location since they opened. Food is consistent and delicious. Management needs to lose the plastic signage with the QR code menu from every table...cheapens the experience, acts as a visual/physical barrier, unnecessarily taking up room in the table, just another advertising mechanism almost like a billboard on my table. Management needs to remove all of the items from on top of the sushi bar. Looks terrible. Another barricade of clutter. Containers, shrink wrap...looks unprofessional, unsophisticated, cheap, lazy, like a bunch of hoarding. Lines of sight should be clean, not littered. Chefs that are enjoying their water/beverage should refrain from wiping their mouth on the back of their hand when done sipping. Hostesses that are busy organizing napkins/utensils/whatever should not be telling customers to wait a few minutes while hostess finishes what she is doing, she should stop immediately and take care of customers. Was nice meeting our server Ryan on our 4/21/24 visit. Positive attitude, attentive and got our entire order completed correctly and promptly. Too many menus. Kabuki needs to clean it up and get back to its roots.“
“Babytuna is busy every time I come in. The workers are always working hard and obviously doing their best. The fish always tastes fresh and the "all you can eat" is a great deal even at $42. Seems like there's only ever one sever even on packed Friday and Saturday nights. The blonde waitress is nice and obviously working hard to get to everyone. She is always rushing around having to do the phones, bus the tables, and serve the food for the whole restaurant! The chefs are great and I love the toro options.“
“Love this place! Our family regularly comes to their restaurant on a weekly basis. The chefs, server, and host/managers are friendly. Being a regular customer, we have witnessed the place go through short staffing (from what I've observed) in the past but they managed to still provide good quality food. They now have this one young male server who is extremely professional and good at his craft. This makes the experience even better.“
“HOLE IN THE WALL HOTSPOT: Superb SushiHidden in the town of Castaic coming off the Grapevine into the Valley is this Japanese gem.
