“The food and service was great. Just the music was very loud, it left our ears ringing and we couldn’t have a conversation with our friends at all. We asked the sever to tell the grupo to turn it down and they did and then the music was loud again. Will be back though amazing food.“
“I'm going to discuss my review in five categories. I'm going to be clear that Xevichez is my favorite sushi place.Location: The parking lot sometimes is packed but the place itself isn't a bad drive.Ambiance: Well lit, interesting decor, clean. There is always a small or larger group here so you won't feel lonely.Value: Sushi is always going to be relatively expensive, and for the quality of food here, it's not too bad.Food: The sushi tastes very fresh and never disappoints. The teriyaki sauce is a great combo. The bowls are also amazing if you don't want sushi.Service: The service here fluctuates. It's mostly good though!“
“Embark on a culinary escapade at this Mexican sushi haven, where the gastronomic experience reaches sublime heights. The fish taco, a symphony of fresh ingredients meticulously crafted, stands as a testament to the culinary prowess exhibited in every bite. The fusion of flavors in this dish is nothing short of extraordinary, creating an unforgettable sensation on the palate. The bloody beer was fire too.Delight extends beyond the realm of sushi, as my companion savored the breaded chicken and fries with an accompaniment that proved equally impressive – the blueberry lemonade. The culinary ensemble, a harmonious marriage of textures and tastes, demonstrated a commitment to excellence that resonated throughout the dining experience.Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to fellow epicureans seeking an unparalleled blend of Mexican and sushi delights. The prospect of returning for another gastronomic sojourn is an enticing one, as the allure of this culinary gem beckons with the promise of continued satisfaction and culinary artistry.“
“Probably my favorite place to eat. The food is delicious, creative, and beautiful to look at. The staff are professional and friendly. I've been following the chef for close to twenty years now, from Chiba to Asanebo to his own restaurant, and he's destined to become a name in the sushi business. Excellent fish. Great taste. Outstanding menu, both in terms of selection and preparation. A must-visit restaurant for the sushi lover who wants to see some new ideas.“
“I've been hearing about Chiba from my brother for years, and now I understand why it's his go-to spot for sushi. Freshness is paramount when it comes to sushi, and Chiba delivers on every level. The sushi rolls were bursting with flavor, and each piece of nigiri was perfect. It's clear that the chefs at Chiba take immense pride in their craft, and it truly shines through in every dish. Their attention to detail and the commitment to providing a wonderful sushi dining experience. In my humble opinion, Chiba easily ranks among the top 5 sushi spots in the entire Los Angeles area. If you're looking for fresh, delicious sushi served with a side of exceptional service, look no further than Chiba. Trust me wheh I say you won't be disappointed.“
“This is a great sushi spot ! I always go here for lunch at work. The best part is that most rolls are bogo 50% off. They are super helpful with great service. The ambiance is meh and it's kind of small but I'm really there for the food cause it's bomb !“
“Tried this for the first time, it was so so good. Love the amount of options they offer and the person who helped us was very friendly, talkative, and patient. He also made sure to let us know about the student discount which I appreciated.“
“Hands down a superior sushi house! This is what Santa Clarita has been missing. For the true-blue sushi enthusiast, minus the sriracha mayo overload , imitation crab filled, trough-style eating, and TVs on, HOT MESS that's happening all over this valley. High quality and elegant, beautiful and clean flavors.“
“My husband and I had the pleasure to dine in last night. We are from Glendale but had to make a drive out there and decided to stop here since the reviews were so good and the food or service did not disappoint! We got there about 40 mins before they closed but we were welcomed and not rushed to order or eat. We got 3 rolls and miso soups and it was all tasty! Other than that the service was amazing! We didn't get the name of the lady that served us but she was very nice and attentive. She was also kind to the chef which says a lot in my opinion. She said she was the relative of the owner but by her awesome service we really thought she was the owner. Love this place will come back.“
“The staff is so friendly and attentive! It is a small location but they have a lot of options. The rolls are tasty and the sake hits. You need to try the garlic edamame, it was delicious. They do not have cocktails but do offer a variety of bottled beverages.“
