(Tri Tip Dip and Smoked pork sandwich with some cold IPAs and iced water we didn't have to ask for-MUCH appreciated). Service fast, friendly, and even filled my water bottle before we left ❤️. Placed them on our Google "will eat here again" list!“

“I'm eating this right now. You all had me fearing this stop on my trip. So unfair to this place. They take online orders, and my order was accurate to the minute. There was nothing wrong with the food and mine tasted good hot out of the oven. It's not a fancy pizza, but I appreciate the convenience of this existing out here.“

“We like Red Onion quite a bit. In the summer we like to sit on the deck and in the winter it is cosy and quiet indoors. There really are only two restaurants within the peninsula area; more in the Hamilton Branch area, but if we want to stay close in we alternate between Il Lago and the Red Onion. Il Lago is loud and fun but not a good place if you want to have good conversations due to the noise level. We like the variety of food at Red Onion (something besides pizza) and the peace to talk with friends. That is in large part because the bar is far away from the restaurant dining, unlike Il Lago. So those drinking a lot and having fun are at the bar. That makes for a more quiet restaurant. Yay. All depends on what you are seeking on a particular night.“
