Was an amazing 65° sunny December day and the tacos that Florencio served me were absolutely mouthwatering and delicious anytime I want taco. This is the stand I will come to. I highly recommend it that El Pastor is my favorite.

In my quest to try every taco truck in Chico, Habanero's was next in line. Ordered a regular asada burrito and a regular pastor burrito. The lady working the register had a wonderful smile and was very nice, she even brought my order out to me when it was ready. Unfortunately the food itself was quite underwhelming. As it seems to be with several other trucks, the burritos were good sized but there was too little meat and way too much rice. The flavors were very tame, bordering on bland, and sadly the asada was mostly gristle. The pastor was juicy but again, not much flavor. Overall, the food was below average but the service was spectacular. With so many other trucks available, I will not be a repeat customer at this one.

This is my go-to place for tacos. The al pastor or chicken are our favorites. If you like spicy, their spicy salsa is flavorful and has some good heat to it.

I can't believe it took me this long to eat from here. These are the best Al pastor tacos in Chico. I'm originally from LA, and moving here to Chico was definitely hard, especially when thinking about all the good food trucks I was leaving behind. I've tried many Mexican food places here and all of them come up short with flavor, juiciness, and even the portions of meat to tortilla. This place has all of it and then some. Please don't sleep on this!!!

I've come to this food truck several times and I've tried the tacos, which are delicious regardless of your meat and salsa choices. I could eat like 5 and not get sick of them. I love the spiciness of the food, not too much, just enough to give you the kick you need and still be able to savor the ingredients. I also like their nachos. I get them with carne asada and the works. Delicious!!!!! I'm getting hungry just thinking about the food I've eaten here. The people are patient and will help you choose something if you're unsure what to choose. But so far everything I've had has tasted pretty good. Remember this is a food truck, meaning that there are some benches and chairs next to it, or if you're not into that, you can eat in your car. The location is not bad at all - adjacent to the 99% Store. The only reason why I'm taking a star off is because there have been some inconsistencies with the food. Nothing too serious - what happened was that one night I got food that was spicy and I loved it, and the next night there was no spice in it. Someone else was working, perhaps that was why.
I have lived in Chico a little over a year and just have not found an excellent taco. Many places have good tacos but lack where Habañeros excels. First, the meat is not over seasoned, they use a regular full size tortilla and fill it with meat. My only complaint is the watery salsa. It needs to be thicker and more flavorful. That said, this is the best taco in Chico. Simply made, meat, onion, cilantro and salsa.

Ordered some chicken tacos, and OMG! They were delicious! The guy brought them out to my car for me. Really nice staff and great food. Will definitely be eating here again.

This is best taco stand truck in the town because foods taste real Mexican foods. I ordered Burrito Bowl which is big food but really good!! Carne Asada taste so much better than other taco trucks . Also burrito superme is my most favorite food ever made, gosh I wish I show you pictures of my foods but I forgot, forgive me haha. They cook really well and fast serve only four people but they have great timing. 100 percent recommended you should try taste this and will definitely go there again more than 100 times and never regret!! I definitely go there again!
