People have been saying Jazz Cat has gone downhill after COVID, and I can definitely see why. Everything was mediocre. We came during lunchtime because their lunch special seemed like a good deal. One of my go-to places in the area. Simple. Solid personal hotpot. I always get the t-rex lamb sukiyaki with ponzu sauce. Love that they have this extra meat option. Everything comes out fairly quickly. There's plenty amount of veggies. The lamb has a slight gamey taste, but it's still just so delicious.

They have an eye catching, wallet friendly lunch special with many different broths to choose from. But unfortunately, the ones that we had were watery and not as flavorful as other shabu spots. Meat quality was decent, but the amount seemed little, which made us buy an additional large order of meat for our broth. Came here for lunch on a Friday and they were wide open.. it was a peaceful/quiet lunch.
