“ChatGPTI recently had the pleasure of dining at Omaniku, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making the evening truly enjoyable. What made the evening even more special was the delightful birthday treat they surprised me with. It was a lovely gesture that added a personal touch to the dining experience, and it made me feel truly valued as a customer. Now, let's talk about the food. The dishes at Omaniku were not only visually appealing but also bursting with flavor. I could tell that the ingredients were of high quality, and the chef's skill was evident in every dish. Past reviews said the food wasn't high quality, and you need to consider how many courses you're getting at the price. One of the most pleasant surprises was the value for money that Omaniku offers. I've dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, and while they may offer slightly better food, they often come with a hefty price tag. Omaniku, on the other hand, provides a fine dining experience that is on par with these prestigious establishments but at a fraction of the cost. It's a fantastic option for those who want to enjoy exquisite cuisine without breaking the bank.Lastly, Omaniku is the perfect place for a romantic date night. The ambiance is intimate and cozy, making it an ideal setting for a special evening with your loved one. The combination of great service, delicious food, and the overall atmosphere creates a memorable dining experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend Omaniku. Don't be misled by other reviews; this restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. It's a hidden gem that offers an outstanding culinary experience without the exorbitant price tag.“

“One of my go-to places in the area. Simple. Solid personal hotpot. I always get the t-rex lamb sukiyaki with ponzu sauce. Love that they have this extra meat option. Everything comes out fairly quickly. There's plenty amount of veggies. The lamb has a slight gamey taste, but it's still just so delicious.“

“If you are into spicy Chinese food, then you will love this place. This eatery serves Chengdu style food (a sub-part of Szechuan cuisine). It had the same 麻辣 taste for all of their dishes (literal translation: numb & hot pepper spicy) as in a typical Szechuan dish. Numbing effects came from black & white peppercorns, which you can taste quite distinctively. Thhis style of food is known as Maocai 冒菜(translates from local dialect: heat the food); , which derived from the hot spicy soup with all kinds of herbs pour over the ingredients creating steam (as in 冒烟as in “smoking”)just before serving to the patrons. You can choose from the menu or pick your own from the buffet bar and you will pay based on the weight of your selections. Once weighted, the kitchen will cook your concoction for you based on your selection of the sauce. All sauces were spicy and numbing. You can also choose lite spiciness, mid spiciness or extreme spiciness. This is the first time I’d tried this and I actually enjoyed the numbing and hot peppers flavor very much. I pride myself on eating spicy food, but I opted for lite spiciness here and it was plenty spicy for me. The prices were reasonable and the quantity was fulfilling for the items on the menu. You can also choose from glass noodle, rice noodle or instant noodle for your carb. I had the rice noodle and it was very well made. My wife selected the least spiciest sauce, the beef bone soup, with beef and it was just a bit spicy, but plenty of numbness.“

“Same comments as I have for the MP Location:I know Cocary doesn't always get the best reviews. Some of it is probably service related, some of it is from the age of the venue and that there have not been many updates made since they opened. However, I have been going to Cocary on and off since I was about 6/7, since before they were at this location and started down the street. For me, it's been consistent. I know what I'm craving when I go and I know what I'm going to get.My go tos are veggies and mushrooms in the soup with the occasional pork blood cubes. Lamb for BBQ on the grill portion. Usually white rice but the occasional craving for the yam congee. I can usually go through 2-3 plates of the lamb and just whatever veggies I have room for that day.One of my favorites is the broth. I will usually sit there and go through 3-4 bowls of broth each time I'm there. Two complaints that I do have, it's hard to keep the grill portion of the cooktop hot enough to get color on the meat while also not hard boiling everything in the pot. If the soup becomes too condensed, then I just add some water so it doesn't get too salty. And on a hot summer day, the AC isn't on very high in the dining room. It usually set to 82-84 and eating hot pot causes sweat but I still go anyways lol. Just drink enough ice water and eat quick.I know that sometimes when it gets busy, it takes a while for them to round back to the table for service. I don't mind getting things like water, broth or extra bowls and plates on my own since they are out in the open area and easily accessible for guests. Since you already have to cook the food yourself, I don't mind self-service add-ons either.I also tend to go for lunch when there is a discount. So I can usually fill my belly and go home happy at around $25.Definitely a place I will be visiting often.“
