“This is actually a review for Homegirl's catering service: I hired Homegirl to cater my book launch at the University of Southern California. Nadine was super easy to work with in planning out the kinds of foods I wanted for my event. Abel did an excellent job finding our venue and setting up a delicious spread. I got turkey sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches, and vegan sandwiches. Everything was delicious on fresh bread baked by Homegirl. We also had agua frescas, hummus, and salad. The hummus was actually so popular that I barely got to try any. My guests ate it all! Note to self: order extra hummus next time. Putting on an event is time consuming and stressful, but Homegirl made the food portion of my event easier to manage. I highly recommend them. They will be at the top of my list for future catering events.“

“I was in the area for a tire and in desperate need of coffee. I asked the barista which to get and they recommended the horchata latte, I got it with half the sweetener, iced and it was perfect. I even splurged and got a the tomato & mozzarella empanada (also recommend by the barista) chefs kiss! Came with a chipotle sauce of some kind and so fresh. I also opted for the spinach, egg and cheese empanada which was also delicious. Will definitely be back when in the area.“

“Blue Lounge is an amazing lounge to sit and enjoy Shisha. They have a large variety of tobacco flavors and all pipes are "Regals" unless you choose a different specialty pipe they offer. This place is safe, clean and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of lighted parking out front and a large outdoor patio with heaters and seating outback. I love smoking here and will continue to visit GG and team!“

“What a gem of a restaurant in this area! Fresh food, deliciously prepared. I had the caprese toast which comes with a giant fresh green salad. I also got a side of 2 eggs over medium. Perfectly cooked. An americano with oat milk; wayyyyyy better than Starbucks by a million miles. And I got a carrot, kale and celery freshly juiced, juice and it is so good.Come in here!!! “incredibly hectic. don't expect perfect service during their busy periods. we went on a sunday at 11:30 AM so it was totally expected. what the service lacks in, the food makes up for. the famous breakfast burrito is near perfection, i didnt know i needed runny eggs in my burrito but they were terrific, as was the chile verde with the burrito. the california chicken wrap was fresh, creamy, and very well seasoned.“

“I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore. Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.“

“Everything time you come down to Griffins Observatory you have to came to The Trails for there few goodies especially their lavender shortbread cookie! That's what we ordered and Avocado Sandwich. Their sandwiches are bountiful like you can see the picture I can explain it just few words you got to come here and try it. “This is the spot for some donuts! They have the best Apple Pie Donut, that doesn’t disappoint. There’s always a line but it moves quick. They offer a variety of items such as cakes, donuts, food and drinks like coffee. I’ve only had donuts from here I always get the Apple pie one. The strawberry cream one is also good, a little on the sweet side but good. Definitely trying a food item next.“

“Thank goodness for Nice Coffee! Pre-Covid, it was a great alternative to the ubiquitous Starbucks on almost every other city block. Since the Starbucks in the nearby vicinity has been closed, Nice has been an oasis in a coffee desert! The line comes and goes. Sometimes it can be confusing as to where the line ends. They have a great selection of pastries and savory items. The breakfast burritos are just the right size. I haven't had the chance to try their lunch option but I'm sure they are delish! As for coffee, I am a creature of habit and always order the cold brew. On occasion they have a sparkling cold brew (cold brew mixed with a sparkling, flavored water.) It's a short wait for the cold brew. I've seen others waiting for their drinks. I have no idea what they've ordered. Enjoy!“

I tried their wholesome and tasty Chilaques con huevo served with Peruvian beans, a good tasting salsa verde, and a nicely brew-blend Columbian coffee. The ambience is calm and quiet, people mostly go there to study usually, have meetings, etc. the service was fairly fast, and the nice women that took our order was very sweet and considerate. “A little over 3 years ago, Fleur Cafe opened, and has been a fine success as a small, one-of family restaurant with excellent service and great food at reasonable prices. Now they have expanded their kitchen, and finally introduced an expanded menu with wonderful new dishes added to the popular favorites! I personally enjoy the outdoor dining option, but they have also got a nice little dining room. Prices have gone up a bit, but it is still a very reasonable breakfast, brnch and lunch choice.“
