“Try to get here as early as you can! I got here probably at 9.40 AM-ish. Definitely a pricey pastry BUT worth to try (and come back to). Probably one of the best croissants I’ve ever had in LA. Flake to perfection, inside is very buttery soft and fluffy. Atmosphere is very cozy and nice to work.“

“I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore. Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.“

“Come here all the time. Food portions are very generous and the coffee here is great. A bit on the strong side at times but you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. The breakfast burrito, crepe, French Toast combo, and of course their açaí bowls are my favorites. They make a pretty hearty breakfast sandwich as well.Because their portions are big, don’t come here expecting to pick up fast food. The service is not slow. These people work hard to get your food orders ready accurately but wait time for your meal could be anywhere from 10-18 minutes. But when I tell you it’s worth the wait, trust me. I come here before work and order ahead for my lunch breaks.Staff is of course always great and friendly.“

“Love this local sandwich shop with a bit of history, amazing staff, and delicious food! Not typically a sandwich person, but this place is definitely working on changing my mind! The tri-tip sandwich, available on Thursday and Friday only, is amazing, nice smoky flavor and melted cheese, works just so well. The Hey Joe sandwich is great any other day of the week if you're a meat lover - pastrami, roast beef, and a hot link! Give them a go and support, my favorite type of restaurant to support, cheers!“

“Good beans and they know how to make espresso but not as good as the better shops in Pasadena. Croissants are nothing special and a bit expensive, but other baked items are good. “Superba is an excellent breakfast/Lunch spot. You cant go wrong with anything on their menu and their baked goods are some of the most delicious around. Their madeleines and cookies are my two recommendations, especially fresh. My go to is their egg breakfast sandwich, but the breakfast burrito is also a must try. I recommend superba for a quick bite or a nice meal with friends, but not very many plugs for the internet cafe goers.“

My boyfriend visiting from Ireland said those were the best potatoes he’s had since visiting lolEverything was seasoned well and the burger was cooked just right. The staff were friendly and helpful, you order before you sit down.I went purposely on a rainy day and there was plenty of seating around 1:00pm in the afternoon. The menu selection was great, will definitely want to try one of the Benedict’s on my next visit. Will definitely come back again!“

“The famous franchising local coffee shop. Many people gather in the morning while the lane is sometimes long and the seats may face the shortage of the seats. The coffee is generally good as I tried the vanilla Bean Flavored Latte. There is somehow a secret menu of the affogato named as the Summer's Macchiato! The espresso with the vanilla ice-cream scroop! That's great in taste and cheap in price. Plenty of parking here and have the curbside pickup option if using the App. Might try for the good items next time.“

“I have walked past Yahaira's Cafe on many occasions when I was in the Pasadena area, but never once did I walk inside. I was informed it served Mediterranean foods, but it turns out, they serve Mexican and/or Yucatan foods. I finally took one big leap forward and decided to check them out for the very first time last weekend. I am so glad I did! This cafe is so beautiful and colorful inside... the decor is lovely and quaint! Lots of bright colors on the walls. I found out this cafe is named after the lady owner's daughter, Yahaira. How sweet and loving is that! There is a black and white painting of gorgeous Yahaira on the wall. There are two door entries; one door on the Colorado Blvd side and the other door is slightly adjacent to it. They have outside patio seating and indoor seating. I was greeted right away by the lady owner upon my entry. Muchas gracias senora! After looking at the two menus (each had different items on them), I knew exactly what I wanted to try. Let me tell you, when I go big, I go big especially when it comes to food LOL. I ordered the Shrimp Tostada... OMG, huge and amazingly delicioso... 6 big tasty shrimps (8 would have been better because I love shrimp LOL), 1 shrimp taco (this one was the #1 best tasting... love the 4 shrimps!), 1 fish taco (this one was #2 best tasting... tons of blackened fish by the way), 1 chicken taco (this was my least preferred... chicken was a tad dry IMHO), 1 order of fries (nice, thin, and crispy... yummy!), and 1 vampiro drink (good and very healthy). One thing I loved about the tacos was the tomatos and onions were not diced, they were in strips (first time ever seeing this form on a taco)... this gave it more depth in taste. Everything was served hot on vibrant and colorful plates... they were just delish... the foods not the plates LOL! My server was really nice and pleasant. The overall service was impeccable from the time I entered the cafe until the time I left. Thank you everyone! Yahaira's Cafe staff, keep doing what you do best at your craft! Thank you for sharing your passion in cooking up some amazing Mexican foods. I appreciate your warm and welcoming hospitality. I'll be back for more of your excellent foods and service!!!“

I hope they make it a permanent drink on their menu because it is so good and I'll be sad if they get rid of it. I also love the ambience of the shop. This is my favorite coffee/tea shop in Pasadena, hands down!“
