“I came here on the weekend so the Claremont Village area was packed. I did have to park far and walk for errands. I was seated quickly at the bar since I came by myself.

I have been trying various brisket from restaurants in the area. This place had a ribs and 2 meat combo plate ($33.95), so I got their brisket, smoked sausage, and Memphis baby back ribs to try with their lemonade.

The brisket was tender with a good smoke ring, the table had bottles of various bbq sauce to try with the meats. The smoke sausage had a good snap and was moist. The baby back ribs were tender and came off the bone easily.

The place is loud with the tables filled with people inside and on the outside patio. They did have sports playing on the tv and people milling about the floor.
The wait time was not long and my platter arrived quickly.

“Overall 4star at best. Went for a date night to experience the Dia de los muertos fixed menu and it was pretty underwhelming. Cocktails are great. Tacos are very good but too damn small. Guac is excellent. Chile relleno very good. Service was atrocious though. Servers were hustling but booked too many patrons with short staff. Owner apologized and made it right by giving us a gift card to come back, which we will. Most times we come service is good. May have been homecoming weekend or something, seemed like an unusually large crowd Saturday night.
Keep making tweeks with the staff, menu and food to get those ratings higher. You guys are on the most prominent corner in downtown you have to stand up to that challenge and be the best. Ambiance and decor have that wow factor now the food and service need to catch up. Good luck.”

“I've been going to Viva Madrid since about 2008 and I always get a variety of their tapas. Many of the same ones every time. I've introduced this restaurant to more then 20+ people who now take their friends and families. The food is delicious but lately I'm having to ask for extra sauce on the chicken empanada (which is my favorite) and the spicy potatoes. If you don't, half will be without sauce and will be dry. Also try their red Sangria. It's delicious.”

The late night worker/ owner went beyond to provide an amazing service. Even though they were close to closing time he took the time to make everything with care and have a conversation as he cooked. Leaving with food and words as wisdom’s as he noticed I had a long day was the pick me up I needed to end the night will a smile. I truly enjoy small business that not only provide a delicious meal but an experience. Support those business!”

“Located in a small plaza next to another Chinese restaurant. I was in the plaza waiting for a to-go order from the Filipino restaurant near by when I saw this place. Small seating area inside and they had a good amount of people eating inside.

I decided to get their xiao long bao, popcorn chicken, and pan fried dumplings to try. They had 8 pieces of xiao long bao and they were pretty juicy inside. Their popcorn chicken was juicy inside with a crispy batter that was not too thick. It was seasoned nicely with a good portion size. My family liked the xiao long bao and the pan fried dumplings.

“Scrumptious, moist, and irresistible describes the cake I ordered from Some Crust for my mother’s memorial service reception. The cake was impeccably crafted and the designers decorated it in exactly the manner in which we requested, “Not too much.” The frosting was strikingly smooth and the piping adorned only the bottom of the cake, ensuring the decoration was not too much. The colors of the yellow and red roses and the green leaves on top of the cake were tastefully muted and maintained the minimal emphasis of the decorations. It was a spice cake in which all the flavors blended perfectly without one flavor standing out too predominantly. It was delivered exactly at the time it was scheduled to arrive at the location. I highly recommend this bakery when you have an occasion that requires a specialty cake.”

“I love spicy food and Ginkgo has the best delicious, spicy Chinese Sichuan food in our area.
The Sichuan Boiled Fish was especially memorable as the fish was fresh and tender. Must try!
Stir Fried Scallion Beef and Mapo Tofu were my kids’ favorite dishes.
We have been here many times and love everything we have tried so far.
The staff was super friendly!
Overall, the delicious food, impeccable service, and cozy ambiance made for a wonderful dining experience here.

Great for large groups--we gathered 30+ friends for a celebration and they could easily accommodate. Line moves swiftly (you order at the bar). Food trucks outdoors and the ability to bring food from elsewhere is a bonus. Lots of parking, both in the lot and in the adjacent street. Dog friendly.”

“It is a nice, and typical, Mexican restaurant. This one is located near Sprouts Farmers Market, in Claremont. I have visited this establishment, only once, in May of 2024. I came here, after work, to have my dinner. Since I live close by, I thought to visit this restaurant. The meal, that I have ordered was Chicken Mole, and for dessert I have ordered flan. If my memory serves me well, those meals were delicious. At the same time, the prices, too, were not on the expensive side. I have paid $28.00, with a tip. Furthermore, the place was neat. Without neatness, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. Of course, when I came, it was the middle of the week. So, I am not familiar with weekend service. Still, if anyone is in the Pomona/Claremont area, I would recommend to visit this restaurant. It is conveniently located on Foothill Boulevard.”

We were traveling to LA for the Harry Styles’ shows and ordered the cherry pants and added expedited shipping so they would arrive before we had to catch our plane. Two days out and still no pants. Working with McKenna and Katie, they offered to drop off a pair at our hotel when we arrived. Fortunately the pants showed up the day before our flight so they didn’t have to make that trip. I would definitely order from them again, super great customer service and cute cute cute items!”

“Place is packed with college students. The decor is clean with a good amount of tables with live plants scattered around. I ordered on the kiosk for a dozen mini donuts and a strawberry lemonade to try. They have various flavors of lemonade and types of coffee on their menu.

First disappointment, this place doesn’t just sell the only meat, either a pita sandwich or a plate, which I need since I made my own sides. Second disappointment after order something I wanted since you don’t sell just the meat, my order was so over cooked and dry, the cooked seems to and extra sauce to make moist again- pretty disappointed.
