“Very Good Service. Amazing food, friendly atmosphere. I go here for lunch occasionally dinner. As good as the food is I can never finish the bowl of PHo. When I take home leftovers, they do an excellent job of separating the noodles and broth and packaging it for me. Highly recommend. One of the only places in Claremont where you can also watch the game and have tasty appetizers.“

“I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I haven't experienced an issue yet. I was here Friday night and ordered the tacos. I enjoyed them. I had 1 steak, 1 chicken and 1 shrimp. I really liked the fillings and thought the meats tasted good and cooked nice. I didn't really enjoy the tortilla part but it is just my taste buds and preference. Would I order them again, yes. I got a mini spicy chicken bowl today and thought it was substantial, filled me up and the price cannot be beat for what you're getting. I hope the consistency continues because it's convenient to where I'm living. I'm also close to the upland store but would prefer to keep coming here.My original review was all 5 stars. I just went to this location again today on Sunday to get a free bowl and the woman behind the counter is extremely rude and she only packed the bowl up 3/4's full.This is what I wrote to the contact us:Hi.This is my 4th trip to Waba grill.I originally tried the Rancho location on Hellman a week ago and ordered a steak bowl.   It was packed to the gills and had a bunch of great sauce.   This is what got me hooked.I then went on Friday night to the Claremont location and had tacos.  They were great and great service.I decided to get the app if I was going to become a regular.I went to Claremont yesterday and got a spicy chicken mini bowl and it was packed and full of sauce.I earned a free bowl worth up to 9.99.I returned to Claremont today and the woman firstly behind the counter was put off that I came in for a free bowl.  Secondly was upset that I wouldn't take chicken automatically.The bowl came out in minutes and with her back turned to me asked a question.   She was asking if I wanted sauce.  One, it's really rude to talk to customers and ask questions with your back towards them and two, it's hard to hear the voice.I was going to ask her how much a half avocado costs and if it was ripe.  But as I was asking she walked away to the back and pretended not to hear me.I didn't really want to interact with her anymore so I didn't pursue the topic and just went to Wholefoods and bought an avocado.I get home and this bowl is a weak excuse to how I've had meals prepared in the close past.I understand it's a free bowl but I feel like it should be treated the same way being prepared.   I would be awfully frustrated if I paid $10 for this when it's only 3/4 full and not much sauce & meat.If I go back and she's working I will not make a purchase.Thank You,Shaun HallSent from my T-Mobile 5G DeviceIt's 8:15 PM Sunday night and I'm updating my review back to 5 stars due to the caring phone call I received from Waba Grill.“

“The ramen here is amazing! My favorite is their Toki Cheese Lovers ramen. The cheese melted perfectly and gave the broth a creamier taste. The broth is also full of flavor and aromatics. I also love their anime themed decor! Makes the overall experience even better.“

Dollar extra, you got to choose between 3 specialty drinks they have as well. Everything tasted great, and the Mac salad was really good, too. “After 1h30’ driving from San Diego, we stopped by the Chef’s Pho at 4pm. Dine in was almost full house but we got our foods just less than 10 minutes.I highly recommend shaken tofu for vegetarians. “Nice place for brunch here. Had their GOAT egg omelette and coffee here. But the true star of the show that day was the special pancake of the month, Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancake. Take one bite and you'll want to be like Agnes from Despicable Me and scream out, "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!" This thing is unbelievably airy and has just the right amount of sweet and tartness.The staff at the location were super friendly and welcoming, and very helpful in recommending what to order. “Bowl House is fantastic. Service was on-par and the owners go beyond what you expect. I ordered 34 garlic sesame chicken plates and (some sides for me potstickers with ponzu - awesome, shrimp plate - awesome) - and requested all 34 plates to be prepared by a certain time. Not only was it ready, packed, but William and his wife helped me bring the boxes to my van. All 34 plates were eaten and University of Redlands Mens Water Polo players and coaches. They were super thankful. If I am in La Verne, I would come back to Bowl House. It is in kind of an old town La Verne area where you can park and walk around and visit the local shops. I ordered tofu cashew stir fry lunch special (see pic). It was nicely plated and the portion was sufficient. The ambiance was clean, A in the window, furniture is a bit of a mish mash. The gentleman serving was polite and attentive. He did not ask me about spice level. The dish was not the least bit spicy. I asked for chili sauce which made it better. “I found this restaurant on Yelp! What a great find! The inside is spacious. They have small curtain like partitions for privacy between tables. So far, I've been here twice. Both visits have gone well. This hot pot restaurant is shabu shabu style. You are given a slip and check off all the ingredients that you would like to put in your broth. The beef is cut fresh when you order it. I've tried the sichuan broth and the tom yum broth. They've been flavorful. I love adding tofu and potato vermicelli along with veggies and beef. Customer service is great. The waitress is attentive and friendly. She checks on you often and makes sure your cup is always full of water or your preferred drink. I also like how they are open late as this cold weather makes me crave hot pot. I'm looking forward to trying a new combination.“

“I had the Peking Duck Combo Meal twice, both times takeout and they were very good and tasty.The location was previously a Korean fast food and that’s why you see reviews of Korean food mixed in here. Google should really fix this problem.Back to the Duck Palace. The duck was well seasoned and delicious. The meat was carved out with both skin and meat so it is not just skin only. This is just another style of eating Peking Duck, not more or less “authentic “ as I had both styles in China, in Beijing no less. The combo meal comes with a Duck soup, first time it was real good, the second time I think the cook tipped the whole bottle of pepper in it ?. The carcass of the duck, mainly the neck and leg bones, were deep fried and they are surprisingly tasty, excellent when washed down with a cold beer.“

“I am a DoorDash aficionado, and always on the lookout for new and tasty fare. Tay Ho delivered! Their garlic noodles with filet mignon, as well as with tofu and mushrooms are super flavorful! The filet melts in your mouth and the vegetarian option is so full of texture and flavor! The crispy egg rolls are delicious, especially with the sauce for dipping that is provided. And, who doesn't love an iced Vietnamese coffee? This is a go to lunch now on our weekly rotation!“

It was a good size roll packed with flavor and tiny bits of mango made it that much more savory. The crunchy flakes a sauce added to the flavor and it was an excellent choice. Service was great, I was seated right away, the staff is nice and friendly. Different staff will ask if you need anything. It's great that they have tvs and have the game on. They also have the option to sit at the sushi bar. It's a nice place nothing fancy, clean, multiple sized tables and then again the sushi bar.“

“ive been to the Haven store a couple times but this location is closer to me and its my first time coming here. I'm not sure theres a difference between these two nearby locations. The food is quite good, seems healthy, convenient. 100 times better than Yoshinoya for sure, it was pretty disappointing how downhill that place went. My only thing about Waba is, its a little.. boring. or bland. something about it is a bit lackluster. and I noticed a few of the brown rice grains were smooth and hard so they did not get soaked properly. I wish i got paid for these reviews but honestly, Waba leaves something to be desired when you've had food from Flame Broiler. they are the best similar competing chicken rice bowl that I've had so far and even a little cheaper if that were somehow possible. even the rice and veggies seem to be more on point. Waba is definitely on par but they're taking 2nd place. just my honest opinion.“

“As a world renowned hot pot connoisseur and #2 fan of Boiling Point, I've decided to give Pot on Fire a try per high praise from a classmate that grew up in OC where all the good Eats are. However to her dismay, she had ordered her pot "mild" but it came out "dangerous spicy". Upon asking to have it changed because that's a drastic difference, she was told just to move the spice on the side. Anyways enough yapping about that, moving on about the food: -Popcorn chicken ($8.00): Decent portion for the price. Very crispy and good amount of flavoring, little on the saltier side. -Stuffed fish ball ($7.20): Filling was delicious and creamy. Outside is seasoned with a type of dry chili which elevated the dish. -Lamb pot ($21.50): I ordered it "spicy" and the name definitely lived up to the broth. Still very flavorful without the spice overpowering the taste. The lamb comes bone in and many pieces were pretty fatty. Decent balance of napa cabbage, vermicelli, tofu, and other things. I wish there was more enoki mushrooms but we in an enoki mushroom shortage right now so I understand. The sauces were okay, there is sesame, garlic soy sauce, and I think it was Huy fong chili garlic sauce which I do enjoy. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. If I were to compare to Boiling Point and Tasty Pot, Boiling Point still reigns supreme with Pot on Fire slightly being above Tasty Pot.“
