This is a great place to go to great food and drinks ! A good to stop in and have a cold brew . I stopped there wile attending the Aviation school in colfax in 2010 a great experience for all .
They've got great food, all cooked-to-order. So far, I've had their hot dogs, pizza, garlic fries, and a couple of other offerings. You can't go wrong. Though a bar first, I wouldn't (and haven't) hesitate(d) to drop in for dinner.Get there while there is still daylight, and you will be rewarded with an incredible view of the hills surrounding Colfax, and if you're lucky, a train snaking its way up (or down) the Sierras.The decor here is ultra-cool. We have been coming here for years and always had to sit outside at the bar as the inside was closed. Parking is right out front. Now the inside is open and glad it is as it was a cold day. Seating is limited so we sat at the bar. Since we were at the bar service was excellent, friendly bartender, beer was cold, cheeseburgers and fries were what we expected. This is a "Dive Bar" and it delivers. We are looking forward to warm weather so we can sit outside as the view is outstanding.
