“When we arrived we were greeted by Cindy who seated us , gave us menus and took our drink orders. Sha returned shortly and took our orders. The food arrived hot and ready to eat. We enjoyed our dinner and were on our way. The service and food was outstanding and we will be back for another taste in the not to distant future.“
“Having breakfast at Black Bear is one of my favorite places to go to. We’ve gone randomly and for birthday breakfast celebrations. I ALWAYS ask for Xochitl to be my server because her service is always exceptional. She gets our order right and has our food arrive in a timely manner. Our coffee cups are never empty and we leave with a full belly!!! The food is delicious and her along with the other servers make it a great family restaurant!!!Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian I found it easy to get something great to eat and they have no issue making adjustments to my meals! 10/10“
“O wow I’m from Louisiana and Texas and I was born a foodie . This was food definitely made with love and perfection. ? I had the breakfast country fried steak with gravy and the gravy biscuits… it reminded me of a Sunday dinner with the family , after you eat you all take a nap lol … The waitress was really sweet too . “A local diner that serves great diner food at reasonable prices with friendly service and classic old school jams playing in the background. It's casual, old school feeling, with the familiar dual kitchen of American and Mexican food including menudo in the weekends. I hardly go out for breakfast but places like this make going out to breakfast for familiar non-complicated, not fancy, non-hipster good food make it worth while. Fourth visit and will be back again. Also, pastrami omelette with a side of perfectly cooked hash browns is amazing.“
