It's really hard to find a lettuce wrapped sandwich these days, let alone a vegetarian option. I'm gluten free and have a rare meat allergy forcing me to have strict dietary needs. This sandwich shop hit the spot!!!! I ordered the Veg-E-Tate sandwich lettuce wrapped add cheese and Mayo. It came out perfect! The size was beyond my expectations and the flavor was very fresh. I work in the area, and I get tired of the monotony of the same old, same old. As soon as I step up to the counter at Slicers I feel like I just stepped into Brooklyn's streets and I am taken back into my days living in Bay Ridge, walking from Sunset Park to Dyker heights, you will find some of the best delis in America. Slicers THANK YOU for bringing that same experience here on the West Coast... you make me miss Brooklyn every time I visit!
