“Two Hommés is a culinary gem tuck away in Inglewood right next to the Ralphs on LaBrea and Centinela. I walked in during Sunday Brunch and I was welcomed by bigs smiles by the host. I learned that Two Hommés serves west African fusion and high quality food.I supported this Black-Owned business and ordered their house made crab cakes. They so fresh, delicious, and tasty. The owner Chef AB was so kind and lovely. He added grits, a biscuit, and a lemonade. 10/10 I recommend.“

“Clean, cute, good service, yummy. I got the Bachos which like a Jamaican nachos. I never had Jamaican food to know but I liked it. Salty for me but I don't add salt to anything and the Frito type chips already come that way I think. I got the lentil as my protein, which was like crumbled falafel. The cheese sauce was like a salad dressing texture and flavor. Reminded me of Cesar salad dressing. I think I found a raisin in there and I didn't mind. Would definitely come back. “The purple sweet potato soup was one of the best soups I ever had outside my own kitchen. The table water is fresh and filtered to refreshing taste. My fish sandwich had great coke slaw and special sauce with pickles and jalapeños however the fish had been fried twice to warm it up. It was crusty near burnt. Please do not use an old restraint hack to repurpose entrees.“

I knew they would be busy, so i called hours ahead for my pick up order and when i got there it wasn't ready because my ticket was buried under other orders and was missed. So i had to wait additional time for my food, per why i ordered ahead. Smdh. And my portions was small!!Second time around, i wanted to try chicken but they were out. The guy that took my order seemed like he didnt want to be there, no smile, no greeting, just no customer service skills what so ever. Food came out fast, bigger portions this time. Just dont know why both times bbq sauce was in my greens, i dont like that.“
“The food is great, a vegan take on soul food, but the wait is ridiculous. I've ordered many times hoping the wait improves, and as of current it hasn't. They open at 6pm and for me that is already late to have a meal, but worse I end up getting my order at least 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. after the designated pickup time. “I went for lunch with a friend during the week. It was near the holidays, so pretty empty. There was one guy working the tables and the service was fine (he was friendly but took his time to come over).They definitely give you large portions, which I was happy about. I had the jambalaya and my friend ordered the salmon croquettes. Both were seasoned well and the accompanying corn bread was delicious. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the chicken in my jambalaya had a slightly rubbery, processed taste/texture. Maybe I had a bad batch but to have such an important ingredient not work left me slightly disappointed.But I still enjoyed myself enough that I would go back again. I'd just have a different dish.“
“I've been going to the Inglewood Dulans for years and the food has always been consistently good. My wife loves the fried chicken and there red beans and rice are delicious. I've been getting the short rib meal for years and its for the most part always delicious. But recently I bought the short ribs dinner a couple times this month and I noticed they changed the cut of the meat to flanken cut short ribs that is now less seasoned and chewy like bubblegum. Very disappointing especially since the short rib dinner is one of the most expensive plates that they sale. Not sure if this is a temporary change but I hope they switch back to the original short ribs they were selling. If you're planning on trying the short ribs you might want to ask them if the short ribs are flanken and if they are I probably would choose a different meat. On a different note their peach cobbler is delicious“
“Went there today just before closing. Purchased oxtails with candied yams & rice and gravy. Excellent tasting, the gravy was delicious oxtails were falling off the bones and the candied yams were very good also. Did not really like the corn bread dressing. The hostess, Star was very friendly and welcoming. I'm from the Chi and recommend it highly. Price was right also.Looking for good food check Matthews at 2222 W. Rosecran out. “We had the turkey, dressing, greens, Mac n cheese, yams, and chicken. The food was a solid 4.8.The greens do not have any meat and as flavorful, but I wish they were a little more seasoned. “I finally got a chance to try this taco truck out. I have been seeing it all on instagram so I wanted to support this black owned business and also know if it lived up to the hype? Yes! First the service is great everyone was friendly and helpful. Also I didn't wait long. I want to say at the max I waited 6 or 7 minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered the LAtryguy special $27 + $1 for card. Which comes with 2 enchilada parm tacos (I got 1 steak and 1 chicken no olives or cilantro) and parm Doritos tacos (1 ground turkey and 1 chicken no onions or tomatoes) and a large kool-Aid fruit punch All of them were good but my favorite is the chicken and I did like the enchilada tacos the best. Very flavorful. My only con was the price. I felt like damn near $30 for 4 tacos is a bit much. To where I couldn't see my self coming here often to spend that on a regular. The food and service was really good and the kool-aid was the best I've ever had. But the prices will make me pause in returning.“

I'm a no sauce person and a lot of places can't deliver that "wow" effect when it comes to seasoning. But Rowes seasonings is to perfection. All the sides are fire, my favorite is the potato salad. Plates are well portioned, for a great price. And we ain't gonna talk about the Peach Cobbler??. Gotta get there early tho, because by 3 or 4 some food can be sold, that's just how good it is. My only issue would be that the host clustered all of the guests on one side of the restaurant and when i respectfully requested a booth instead of a table in-between two other familys she seems annoyed. “I am visiting LA for a sports event. I was looking for somewhere to have a soul food Sunday dinner. I found Dulan's on Google. The place was crouded but the line didn't take long. I ordered the oxtails and smother pork chops, collards, mac & cheese, cabbage and black eyed peas. Describing each item would only be a rating of good or great. The portions were large and the pricing was more than fair. I dined in and the service was superb. At least 5 times in a short period of time, different staff would come and check on me. I had Dr. Dunham the ambassador proactively come up to me to while i was in line to explain the ordering process, after their recent renovation & reopening. This is probably the best experience I've ever had at a soul food establishment, top to bottom. Please try Dulan's.“
