“Good selection of wines and beers, including a few varietals that you don't see every day. Mostly recent vintages and NV wines, but good sippable wines that are excellent for waiting for a restaurant reservation (waits can be very long nearby!).A bit pricey for relatively simple wines, but it's a good location and service is always quick and there's plenty of seating.“
“I took two friends to Reve to celebrate their birthdays, and we had a relaxing and delicious meal! The atmosphere in the outdoor heated garden tent was inviting and charming, and our waiter Joel was welcoming and gracious. We all enjoyed our starters of courgeres and pomme frites, and the Reve salad was delicious. The entrees of petrale sole and scallops were also delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts of chocolate mousse and lemon tart with birthday candles were a delightful finale. I'm looking forward to returning for another wonderful dinner! So nice to have such a great restaurant in Lafayette.“
“tables are set in a beautiful rustic narrow alley, greeting people with 2 pink flower tree in the side walk..that enough to caught our attention .the dish craftsmanship and taste quite okcomes with small portions, to allow you to explore more dishes.i am satisfying.“
“Amazing vibes- food, great wine you aren't buying at the grocery store and the feeling that you have walked into something special. But honestly the best part of this place is Benjamin HANDS DOWN- one of the most down to earth, does anything to make your experience special, brings the best energy as soon as he meets your table. This is the place you will want to come week after week to see what new wines B might have in store. Highly recommend the members club or getting on the waitlist for it asap. Pop ins are amazing and member parties are the best thing in east bay. Hard to share such a gem but this place deserves to be known!“
“Great tasting food, cozy and charming location plus friendly and attentive service. It’s what makes a restaurant stand out from all the others. Nicki, the owner, goes above and beyond in making sure her guests are comfortable and satisfied. We’ve had brunch as well as Thai meals. Everything was super delicious! Parking is better than downtown Walnut Creek, Concord or Martinez which is another plus. Keep Skylar Bistro in mind for Art and Wine plus Concerts in the Grove later on.Parking: During festivals and concerts, nearby parking may be hard to find - nothing new there. That’s no reflection on the restaurant. Other times, there’s parking out front or across the street plus the Post Office.“
“We’ve been members for maybe 6 years and we just love Buon Vino it is a great place to hang out and drink some delicious wine. The atmosphere is always great. We love the new location and all the fun events they come up with. Always our place to go to with my husband and great spot for girls “
“Me and a few friends went out 'bar hopping' - I'm sober personally - I had asked for a cup of coffee truly not expecting much at all.I shared with my best friend beside me and we talked about it all night. I don't say this lightly ~It was the best cup of coffee I have ever had~“
“This was our Valentine's Celebration and the experience was wonderful. Service was attentive yet not hovering. I had the seafood bouillabaisse special and my wife had the beef bourguignon. Both were excellent and a good value. We will definitely return“
“This restaurant is located in a place with three other businesses. It's like a market or something. There's two bars, an ice cream parlor and a pizza place I believe. They have an outdoor seating area as well in the back. First off, everyone is extremely friendly. Helpful in recommending food and drinks. I was with some friends so we got a few different things. For me, the Lobster Roll was the highlight. Was delicious and fresh tasting. Came on a brioche bun that was soft and yummy. Also came with a side of seasoned chips. The clam chowder bread bowls were good and the oysters were good but a few had little pieces of shell in them. The drinks were really good too. I ordered Manhattans. It's all very pricey though so be ready to spend some dough. I'd come here again for sure.“
“The restaurant is tucked just off the main downtown area. Relaxed open dining environment. Service was quick and attentive. I had the burger with side salad and crème brûlée for desert. Burger was cooked to order and the salad was a nice spring salad with candied pecans, feta cheese, and a simple vinaigrette. The crème brûlée was tasty but a little less crisp on top than would have been ideal. Overall a good place to grab a bite of comfort food.“
“Pretty good restaurant in Walnut Creek for some classic Italian dishes. The dining space is clean and gives more of an open family feeling to the place. They do also have a nice bar by the front that is kind of separated from the rest of the dining area. The drinks are a little hit or miss here, though. They do skimp on thr alcohol a little bit here, so make sure you order a more liquor-heavy drink or stick with their selection of wines. The food is great and really delicious. There was nothing that our table did not enjoy eating. They do have changing specials, and I highly recommend trying them. The desserts were also very good. Make sure to try their tiramisu since they do give a good portion of it. Overall a great place to take a date or the family.Dietary restrictions: They are able to serve gluten-free pasta upon request.Parking: There are plenty of parking garages if you want to spend money. Not that much free street parking around, though.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kids for a nice meal with the family.“
“We were there for a special event, so I can't speak to the regular day to day operations. Our food was great, the wine is good, and the beer selection was perfect for me. The place looks and feels great, like you are in a special place. The staff is super nice and ready to help and chat with you. I recommend this place very highly, if you are looking for wine and a place to hang with your friends and family.“
“First time eating at Brasas. We enjoyed the ambiance and service the most. Salad bar was good with some basic options enjoyed the Caesar, garbanzo beans and cheese options. The meats were very good and loved the Sirloin, pork ribs and bacon wrapped chicken. Service was fantastic and we enjoyed tasting the fine cognac and the end of our meal to top it off!“
