“Great food, a bit on the expensive side but ok with us. Great service and very friendly staff. Restaurant is loud and noisy, we couldn't hear each other conversation on the same table without yelling. I am gonna hold off making any cozy dinner rsvp with fiends until this get fixed. Looking forward to it. Really love the food.“

“Peanut sauce as usual was fantastic (with fresh vegetable rolls). Brussels sprouts were yummy. The only low point was the lamb chops. They were tiny and you only got 3 and they were charred. Everything else got hobbled up and the presentation, as usual, was stunning!“

“We had our Easter meal here, and it was fantastic. This was our third time, and every time we have been there the food has been outstanding. We ordered from the prix fix menu made especially for Easter for $65 per person. Find the menu below. Every item we had was amazing, and the portions were quite large. I have had all of those foods before but nowhere near as good. The best part, though, was Andrea. When we mentioned we were heading to Italy soon and asked how to pronounce "Grazie", he actually sat down with us and gave us some phrases to say, tours to go on and what foods to order. He was awesome! I realize they are new here and have some kinks to work out, but I really believe this could be an incredible addition to our awesome town. I'm hopeful the community supports it. “I took two friends to Reve to celebrate their birthdays, and we had a relaxing and delicious meal! The atmosphere in the outdoor heated garden tent was inviting and charming, and our waiter Joel was welcoming and gracious. We all enjoyed our starters of courgeres and pomme frites, and the Reve salad was delicious. The entrees of petrale sole and scallops were also delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts of chocolate mousse and lemon tart with birthday candles were a delightful finale. I'm looking forward to returning for another wonderful dinner! So nice to have such a great restaurant in Lafayette.“

“Amazing vibes- food, great wine you aren't buying at the grocery store and the feeling that you have walked into something special. But honestly the best part of this place is Benjamin HANDS DOWN- one of the most down to earth, does anything to make your experience special, brings the best energy as soon as he meets your table. This is the place you will want to come week after week to see what new wines B might have in store. Highly recommend the members club or getting on the waitlist for it asap. Pop ins are amazing and member parties are the best thing in east bay. Hard to share such a gem but this place deserves to be known!“

“Great tasting food, cozy and charming location plus friendly and attentive service. It’s what makes a restaurant stand out from all the others. Nicki, the owner, goes above and beyond in making sure her guests are comfortable and satisfied. We’ve had brunch as well as Thai meals. Everything was super delicious! Parking is better than downtown Walnut Creek, Concord or Martinez which is another plus. Keep Skylar Bistro in mind for Art and Wine plus Concerts in the Grove later on.Parking: During festivals and concerts, nearby parking may be hard to find - nothing new there. That’s no reflection on the restaurant. Other times, there’s parking out front or across the street plus the Post Office.“

“Love how elegant they've made this basement space - it's always a nice respite from the outside world. Enjoy their flights and great beer selection, and the popcorn is always tasty. Peer into the heart of deliciousness with the sous vide cheesecake, made of goat cheese with graham cracker crumbs and Irish whiskey dulce de leche. Quite tasty! But I admit, I was sad to see it served in jar form versus a slice. I probably should have guessed that from the "sous vide," huh?“

“Pretty good restaurant in Walnut Creek for some classic Italian dishes. The dining space is clean and gives more of an open family feeling to the place. They do also have a nice bar by the front that is kind of separated from the rest of the dining area. The drinks are a little hit or miss here, though. They do skimp on thr alcohol a little bit here, so make sure you order a more liquor-heavy drink or stick with their selection of wines. The food is great and really delicious. There was nothing that our table did not enjoy eating. They do have changing specials, and I highly recommend trying them. The desserts were also very good. Make sure to try their tiramisu since they do give a good portion of it. Overall a great place to take a date or the family.Dietary restrictions: They are able to serve gluten-free pasta upon request.Parking: There are plenty of parking garages if you want to spend money. Not that much free street parking around, though.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kids for a nice meal with the family.“

“This is a go-to place for business lunches in downtown. On my last visit I had a vegetarian pie and for some reason I was told it's not on the menu this time. Vinous Reverie Wine Bars •
554 Ygnacio Valley Rd unit a, Walnut Creek - 6.82 miles

“Several things that I like about this place that distinguish it from other wine shops:- It's less showy than Kermit Lynch, less overwhelming than KandL, and has much better variety than Total Wine - The Riesling selection is excellent and there's a lot of aged Riesling from not-as-well-known producers - The prices are generally fair and there are occasionally good discounts; this is *not* a place that's overloaded with high-end Burgundies and there are plenty of wines in the ~$20 range- The website is kept up up-to-date with new arrivals and accurate prices (this is very helpful and makes the inventory easy to look through before you get there) Igor is enthusiastic and happy to let you shop or talk through a recommendation. The weekly tastings are great too and there's sometimes even food trucks. Worth signing up for the newsletter to keep track of what's happening. It is a fairly small operation, so you're not necessarily going to get a lot of legendary wineries coming in for events or a lot of bells and whistles, but I like what they're going for here. Definitely a great neighborhood wine shop.“
