“Great selection of beers and wine. I've been back 2 times(many times now) and have had a great time each visit. Nice place to watch sports. The bartenders are all nice, friendly and attentive.I still need to explore the food menu. To be continued...Part 2: the food is amazing for bar food and the menu has many different types to choose from; Burgers, wings, lumpia, wraps, and much more. They offer many different dipping sauces. And some are uniquely made in house. They also offer free wi fi ???Update to review: The food has gotten even better! You will find a full menu with about 50 items and specials every night to keep things new. Every thing I've ordered has been almost gourmet level and delicious. The ownership is doing a superb job on the menu and food preparation.“

“We dropped into Baxter's randomly last night and we're lucky enough to be seated in the speakeasy. This was a side room of the restaurant but also a world away! The atmosphere was amazing, plush, comfortable and yet sleek with a bit of a club feel. Then the food! Not only was it beautiful in presentation but absolutely delicious. My husband had the lamb and practically licked the plate clean he loved it so much. The scallops were also amazing and not over sauced. Both came with mashed potatoes and veggies which at most restaurants aren't that great, Baxter's however made these side dishes equally fresh and appealing. Their bartender knew what he was doing and made some great martinis as well. Overall it was an excellent experience, highly recommended! Usually I'd have to go to SF to get this kind of service, food and atmosphere.“

I had Biscuit and Brisket (no photos too busy enjoying the food) and a margarita. Seriously everything was delicious!! So flavorful. Service was great. They sat us at a larger table so we wouldn't have to wait longer and our server was attentive and fast. We're definitely going back for dinner. And I want to check out their wine spot in Walnut Creek. Oh they have seating outside with heat lamps and inside too. It's family owned and you get a sense of pride from everyone! Go.Parking: The food is good and the folks who know are coming so a full parking lot tells you something. We find parking right across the street.“

“Ok so first, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, AMAZING, TERRIFIC, and so much more. Second, once you have ordered your food it will come in 15 or less minutes! Third, once you come into the restaurant, (you may have to wait in a line) the hostess will ask you for your name and phone number, if you want to be seated outside or inside, and how long the wait time is (about 20 minutes). Lastly, you should definitely consider coming to Jack's if you're feeling hungry! (They serve breakfast until 2:00pm and lunch all day.) PS you HAVE to try the Mac and cheese!Vegetarian options: You could get the omelet (which is very good) if you are looking for something that is for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: The hostess would ask you if you want a kid(s) menus. Plenty of options on the kids menu.“

“Great tasting food, cozy and charming location plus friendly and attentive service. It’s what makes a restaurant stand out from all the others. Nicki, the owner, goes above and beyond in making sure her guests are comfortable and satisfied. We’ve had brunch as well as Thai meals. Everything was super delicious! Parking is better than downtown Walnut Creek, Concord or Martinez which is another plus. Keep Skylar Bistro in mind for Art and Wine plus Concerts in the Grove later on.Parking: During festivals and concerts, nearby parking may be hard to find - nothing new there. That’s no reflection on the restaurant. Other times, there’s parking out front or across the street plus the Post Office.“

I have significant food allergies, but I was able to make slight adjustments without any problem, and without any annoyance by our waitress. “We were looking for Curry Up Now, didn't realize it was actually part of the Local Kitchens mini food hall, which we'd never seen before but were thrilled to find. We ended up ordering from The Melt and Sushirrito as well, and loved everything. Ordering and pickup were easy, the staff was friendly, and the whole place looked spotless. Our family of four got tikka masala paneer on rice, garlic parmesan fries, tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons, and chicken karaage with Peruvian herb sauce. There were so many great options, we'll definitely be back again soon. It's the perfect place for a group. It's sort of magical that the same little place can provide so many different types of food, all fresh and tasty. There are a few picnic tables out front in case you want to eat there. For takeout, I recommend using the Local Kitchens app to order in advance.“

“The food is very good. I ask for medium poached eggs, and I get them every time. It is incredibly hard nowadays to find REAL Hollandaise sauce..Egg yolks, real butter and lemon...it's here and good. I would also add the potatoes should have bell pepper and onion mixed in with them...imo...I will say this much, we were in there to sign paperwork for my daughter and her husband's very first house...we met there, specifically because it is an organic place, we had been there many times before. We were there this time to celebrate and sign papers. We were rushed out however, and it should have been noticed by the waiter that we were obviously celebrating... gift bags, mimosas, and an obvious celebratory atmosphere at our table.. pictures were being taken, and paper work everywhere... we were pushed out, the waiter was OBVIOUSLY annoyed that we had been sitting there longer than he deemed necessary, which was unfortunate. He was left, despite his obvious annoyance, a 30% tip. Other than that the food is very good and we will continue to come here. We WILL say, if we get "pushed out" again... it WILL be an issue. As an ex waitress myself, it is imperative that people understand in the service business, not everyone goes out to breakfast all the time, some of us go out to celebrate, to spend time together because we don't see each other that often..... we chose to come see you... it's important that that energy is picked up on. I understand the need to "turn" the table over, BUT when you have a table of six that's paying over $200+ for drinks, breakfast and time.... you should just back off and let us be. Read the table.“

“I was skeptical because I judged a book by its cover but was blown away by this place. It's so yummy and filling. While the ambiance isn't anything to leave you speechless it does add character to KeunJib. I've been to some very nice looking places that have served some pretty terrible food so trust me on this that they may be attached to a bowling alley but do not sleep on this place. I ordered the bibimbap with beef and it was over flowing with fresh veggies, a fried egg and beef. They also use the purple rice which most Korean places around here just use regular white rice which I find a let down. I also had the tofu soup and it was delicious and perfect for a cold rainy day. It came with all the side dishes which were tasty. I am looking forward to coming back.“

“Really great spot. The outdoor seating is a little hit and miss, but that's more the fault of the location than anything else. I recommend sitting inside unless it's a very nice day.The food there is great, and the staff are very friendly.Top recommendations:- L.E.S.: this is the best pastrami I've had outside of a famed Jewish deli, and even then it is a contender. Truly a perfect sandwich that I could never get tired of enjoying.- duck banh mi: not really a banh mi, but it is a delicious sandwich with duck and pickled vegetables.- Spicy lamb burger: this thing is HOT, and in the best way. My scalp was sweating by the end , and it is delicious if you're into lamb. Would make great meatballs (hint to the menu makers hehe). They have decent wines, a good beer selection, and a nice bar with classic cocktails and great whiskey options... Particularly if you like Elijah Craig haha (their distributor must have gotten a good bonus!).Overall, if you are in the area and want a fun spot to stop by for lunch or dinner, this should be on your list of places to try. If you have gone and haven't tried the L.E.S., go back and give it a go (you're welcome ?).“

“I am sure that Lucca has many delicious dishes; I can only speak to a simple lunch I had there. My lunch companion and I were pleased to be able to sit outside in front. It was very noisy and crowded inside. I had the $12 grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque soup. The bowl of soup was not very warm and there wasn't much of it, but it was good. The sandwich was just laughable. It tasted like Velveeta cheese in Wonder bread. I had expected a more interesting bread and cheese. This was what I used to make for my children when they were young! It was fun to sit outside and watch the passing parade. The servers did their best. There are obviously better choices than what I had ! But I expected much more from such a highly regarded restaurant.“

My kids favorite is burger and chicken tenders. There soup of the day is good and kid friendly. My only wish that they have more vegan friendly options and whole grains, instead of white rice. They have plenty of tables outside overlooking the pool area. Inside you can seat in the general launch area or at restaurant's tables and order your food from menu or at the bar.Service is friendly, but on a slower side. “We went here with no desire to cook after a long ,enjoyable, and hot day. Just small salads for us. Choice among 8 varied salad offerings. These are a nice size. The large salads are very generous. The smaller size is bigger than a side salad and great for those of us who are not big eaters. Bread basket complimentary with pretzel dough rolls and butter that tasted freshly made.Staff is good, respectful, and experienced. Creekside Grill, being located in a large retirement community, knows their clientele. We ate outside, and the place filled up rapidly after we arrived a little before six on a Thursday evening. We have had live music in the past, usually a single singer with an instrument. Always appropriate and worked well even with conversation around the table.By the way, indoor part of restaurant is relatively low noise even when full and one can converse easily.“
