“Amazing home made Indian food. They make it fresh, were able to Taylor food for my 2 year old grandson (which is evident they make it fresh). Highly recommend eating here and talking it to-go, since Redding and Mt. Shasta do not have good Indian optionsVegetarian options: Paratha, Malai kofta and panner”
“Hands down the best Mexican food in town and very friendly staff! Quick and great prices too!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old loves the food and the staff is so sweet to her!”
“Their olive oil is DELICIOUS and so rich. We stopped here on a road trip so their bathrooms were very appreciated. I wish they had tourist-y stickers for my overhead cargo storage!! But they did have little stickers of some type of olive mascot that they gave me. A wonderful surprise for a PIT stop (ba dum psh)”
“Food is good and good portions but is a bit pricey. It's a family owned business and there is typically only two people working - one cook, one cashier so service is a bit on the slow side. Ambience is basic but the people are incredibly nice and I love their chip/salsa bar.”
“This place is spotless. Very very clean. The food was really good. I ordered the mixed grill and it's definitely enough for 2. I wished they peeled the shrimp because it's hard to peel after it's cooked. The salsa was very good. Chips were fresh. Hands down best Mexican food and best seafood in the area. Waitress was super nice and checked on us a few times”
“ABOSUTLY AMAZING. The chicken nuggets tasted decent, and at a cheap price. The atompshere was truly mexican. However, the only reason this place is getting a 5 star review is because the menus are built into the table. If you want to tree one of the 7 wonders of corning, go here.Parking: THERE WAS A MCDONALDS PANCAKE MAKER ON THE ASPLAT”
“The best mariscos out there. I am not from around here and where I come from it's KNOWN for food trucks. I have tried a lot of seafood food trucks but nothing compares to this one. This food truck is THE BEST OF THE BEST. I've tried everything on there menu but hands down the tostada misteriosa and the aguachiles with Tostitos are AMAZING. I could eat them everyday. They also have amazing service and are very fast and fresh with orders. Very clean food truck and person taking orders is always very helpful with recommendations. Will always be back. I would 100/10 recommend.”
“? FIRE !!!!!The best street tacos I’ve had in so longI ask well done on my meats and they actually listen ? Flavor on ?Salsa is authenticThey take cash or zelle”
“Easter Sunday, people have Easter things to do. Yet the gals are whipping out pizza's for us transients. Great pizza is only surpassed by wonderful staff. Make this a must stop anytime you pass by.Wheelchair accessibility: Single floor building. No steps or stairs on entry or inside.”
“This place is adorable! The food was delicious! I had the Concha French Toast, amazing! I wouldn’t have ever thought to make French toast out of conchitas. The employees and owners were extremely friendly and down to earth. If you are ever in Corning pay Chata’s a visit you will not regret it!”
“I tried the samosas chaat, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala. I also got garlic naan. The food was AMAZING! It was full of flavor and spices that awaken all of your senses. They are considerate and ask you what level of spiciness you would prefer as well. The mango lassi was a nice treat to wash everything down. My only complaint would be that I only recieved one container of rice with my 2 entrees. I will absolutely be returning!”
“Nice Casa with spacious dining hall and friendly service staff. Hector greets you with si/hola Senor / Senora etc. Chips come immediately with salsa - mostly likely because they are straight out of a Costco bag. And the spinach tamales comes from the freezer pretty sure but it does taste good. Fajitas are good. Overall, it’s a passable Mexican joint odd the I-5 but $16/entree for this stuff? Nah.”
“When's on recommendations to eat some sopes. And yes I will be coming back. They make them fresh no premade stuff. Delicious. My kids got the tacos the way they wanted no fuss. Friendly.”
“Been here the last two times I've passed through Corning and would come back daily if I could. The al pastor is on point, very good portion sizes, they are extremely friendly and service is top notch. Love this place. Can't wait to come back!”
