Enjoyed a side of breakfast sausages and bacon. Sausages were a good size and had a little spice/pepper... Just the right amount. Bacon was crispy & nice and salty.Ordered both at the aMuse restaurant inside the Marriott, but cost wise it's better to pay for the buffet (which is in a separate room). The only downside for the buffet is the sausage/bacon/ham rotates each day.Nice service, clean and bright space.
We were looking for an excellent brunch location for Mother's Day. We figured a hotel near South Coast Plaza should be a safe bet. We saw the menu online, and it looked great, and we got "reservations" through Open Table. Well, we arrived, and it was not what we expected. Unlike other big hotel chains, the "restaurant" was an eating space. They did not have the full menu on the weekends. And the buffet was simple and very basic. This is not a review for the hotel itself, just for the restaurant. The food itself should actually be a 4-star review as far as the freshness, quality, and portion size. If you were staying here, you could be satisfied by just eating here if you were not looking to do something special. Breakfast was about $20pp. not including tax, tip or drinks. The ambiance is just regular Marriott Hotel vibes, nothing even trying to make it exceptional, more just functional to serve the guests....read full review
