“Cute boba place in the heart of downtown Covina on Citrus. They have a spacious dining area and looked like it was a former frozen yogurt shop. Decor was very cute and they still had Christmas decorations up. In addition to drinks, they offer bubble waffles, avocado toasts, and a variety of fried snacks. Order at the counter or kiosk. I got the Tarolicious (available only on weekends), the super fruit tea, and the lychee green tea with lychee jelly. All the drinks came out really good. The Tarolicious was not the typical powdered taro that other places use, but rather a house made taro paste that's smeared in the cup. It was tasty and I really enjoyed it (once you mix up the taro with the rest of the drink). The super fruit tea was refreshing and at the perfect level of sweetness at 70% sweet. The lychee drink is not on the menu but rather a "custom drink". There was only one girl working when I was there and I saw a constant flow of people coming in to order, so naturally it took a while for my drink to come out. Not sure if that's their normal staffing l, but I would recommend that if you're in a rush, ask to see how long it will take to get your drink. They also have a private party space available in the back, contact them for pricing and availability. Check in on Yelp to get 15% off your order!“
“Located in a small shopping center on S. Citrus Ave. & W. Puente St. near Del Taco with plenty of parking. We stopped here after lunch for a Boba.Besides Coffee, Tea, Shakes and Smoothies, they also serve snacks such as Chicken Wings, Tater Tots, Chili Cheese Fries, Egg Rolls, Chicken Sandwiches and more.Today, I tried their Taro MilkTea Boba and it tasted great. Their Oreo Shake is also very satisfying. Service was efficient, and the lobby was clean.Overall, we had a good experience at this treat spot and will definitely return to try other menu items.“
“My family and I decided to give this place a try since we had time to kill. The workers were very friendly and the lobby was clean. Food: + Popcorn Chicken ($8.25): Huge portions that can feed to 2-3 people! I got mild but I think they forgot to add the spices since I didn't see any and it looked exactly like my cousin's order and she got no spice. However, the chicken was very juicy and tender. I like how it came with multiple sauces (ranch, bbq and sweet chili) + French Fries ($3.75): Honestly, they tasted like regular fries. So if you're craving for french fries then get these. I personally wouldn't get them again. Drinks: + Taro Milk Tea: My mom enjoyed her drink! I'm glad that we can customize sweetness level. Especially since my mom prefers no sugar in hers since she's diabetic so it was great having this option for her. +Taro Milk Tea: Yummy! One of my go to when I'm not sure what else to order. I opted for crystal boba and it had a nice bite to it. Overall, this place was great!“
“Cute little dessert place! Coconut jelly is pretty good. Bit pricey tho. Came here one night for quick dessert for the original coconut jelly in a coconut shell. The jelly had really good flavors and the coconut was cool. Price is kinda high for $9. Service was fast and efficient. Whole place was nice and clean. Parking was ok in the busy plaza.“
“Very interesting flavors! Tried the brown sugar boba cup, and it's like getting a boba drink but with ice cream. Very yummy, but also sweet, so be ready. The red bean taro was less sweet, but still sweet enough and tasty. Also tried the Ninja, which is black sesame ice cream. Also very good if you like black sesame (and I do). Haven't tried the drinks, but if they're like the ice cream treats, I'm sure it'll be good. Cute spoons and cute atmosphere with a few games if you want to hang out.“
“Best Cream cheese foam I've ever had! As a coffee drinker, I always look for boba cafes that has coffee milk tea, but they have a genuine coffee what is so good to me. Also, their teas are specially and freshly brewed anytime, that aroma soothes me when I come across their making teas.Customer service is excellent too, and you'll never fail to take picture of your drink with their seasonal decorations. Inside is always clean and restroom is accessible easily too. :)“
“This is definitely a 7-8 out of 10. A huge shoutout for keeping prices low! The taste was good. The workers are all very friendly. The food comes out fast. If you want better Pho, you'll have to check out some neighboring places. If you happen to be in Baldwin Park, this will work.“
“I tried the My Sweet Heart and Jasmine Blossom. I love that they crafted speciality drinks that alrdy include toppings. The my sweet heart is milk tea mixed with rose. They actually use rose petals and probably a bit syrup because the drink has a hint of pink coloring. The boba is the perfect chewy texture and the sweetness level was good too. The jasmine blossom was refreshing and I love the mix of fruitiness with the aloe Vera. They have a self order machine but there is someone that can also take your order if you want to pay cash. I came mid day on a Friday and they only had one person on staff so if you don't use the self order, it can be a bit of a wait. The tea shop is cute and has a lot of seatings. The aesthetics of the shop is very cute and ig worthy haha.“
“I was craving something similar to yoshinoya while in the area and came across this place. I ordered a chicken bowl which arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. First thing I noticed was this place packs the food to the brim. The lid was barely hanging onto the bowl. There was plenty of well seasoned chicken cooked teriyaki style and generous amounts of veggies. The portion was way bigger than what I was expecting. The rice underneath was soft and fluffy too. Overall, this place served a very delicious chicken bowl. For the cost and quantity+quality of the food, it was definitely worth it. I'll be coming back to try other items on the menu.“
“Popular with the young and in competition with Oops a few store fronts away. The wishing tree took up quite a bit of the tight space in the store. Those with laptops are going to Oops just because it has less foot traffic. Middle of the road taste.Parking: Parking can be difficult during busy meal hours. Parking garage available to the side and rear near the hotel. Just need to walk over to the stores.“
“I was able to get a smoothie cookie and cream type of drink here. It was good. It would of been nice if the chocolate cookies were a little more bigger to drink it with a crunch to it. It was good though. I liked it. There is a variety of drinks to choose from in here. I just love chocolate ?. It is my favorite dessert.“
“Neighbors is an awesome spot to kickback with some friends! I finally decided to try this place out after driving past it so many times on Colima. Inside, there are a few booths with comfy couches that really allow you to relax for a conversation with friends. I noticed that some of the prices for drinks were just a step cheaper than some of the popular tea shops like 7 Leaves, Tiger Sugar, and Summerfield, which are selling milk tea at around $6 now. After trying their Vietnamese coffee, it didn't seem like they sacrificed on the quality for their better prices. I also tried their Hazelnut Cream dessert. While it was a little pricey ($9), I was really happy with the taste. The mousse was very light and it was not too sweet! I'll definitely be bringing my friends to try some of their other drinks next time.“
“Fresh teas and drinks. Follow them on Instagram for a free sticker. The drinks are good, with options of sweetness for all drinks. The location is nicely decorated and has a collection of Nikes on display. Instagram ready for picture options.“
“The food tastes good and is fresh. The amount of food is large, so if you order two plates of katsu, three people can enjoy it.My daughter loves chicken katsu and all kinds of roll.It is located on the corner of a supermarket building, so the surroundings are quiet. There is a patio outside, so you can eat in that patio if there are a lot of customers inside.Inside is clean.“
“I'm a regular here along with my significant other. We enjoy the consistency of the drinks and the very friendly staff. We're always nicely greeted and the drinks are good. If I ever don't like something they just make it again no hesitation, but that's only happened maybe 2 times out of the many many other times we go here. My favorite drinks are the lychee milk tea and the strawberry milk tea.“
“Nice little boba spot specializing in taro flavored things. Only in this area could you sustain such a niche Asian taste I think. They use fresh taro and you can taste it, much less sweet than the artificial taro taste, so it could be a little off-putting if you are expecting/used to the sugary sweet taro taste.“
“Boba St is walking distance from our home and I'm so excited that the drinks are tasty! We ordered a thai tea and mango swirl with popping boba. Service was great and welcoming. Great music. Loved the decors and cleanliness. We will come back to try the other drinks!“
“I am always looking for a good boba bar and this one didn't disappoint with a good variety of drinks. I ordered the Mango Green Tea, 50% sweetener and light lychee. It was good, but something was off, but good not sure how to explain it. I ordered the mozzarella 1/2 corndog and my first reaction is the batter was thick and didn't have much flavor and I was able to taste the oil. Overall, would I come back and grab a drink again?yes. There is so much potential with this location.“
“This place is an underrated gem. I'm actually surprised more people don't go here. You get a lot of tea for an affordable price and the quality of the tea is excellent. The baristas are kind and patient. It's inside a mini mart that also has many snacks and foods. If you're a tea lover YOU MUST GO HERE.“
“The best!!!! I love coming here to satisfy my cravings. I would recommend the Halo Halo, vanilla caramel milkshake and the coconut milk tea! The service is great and the atmosphere is amazing & very aesthetically pleasing. Lots of books to look at and places to sit and study.“
“Got into their tea drinks now!!!! Their ooh long tea is extremely delish with egg pudding inside.....if I'm in a rush, I'll just drink that with no time to eat lol jk. I uncovered this branch is because I needed to pull an all nighter this week for wrapping my work's location transfer papers. They happened to be opening late till 10pm since I was in Burbank, CA.'s 'Priscilla's Gourmet Coffee Shop. I drove from Burbank here this week. Any ways, I will return and try a different drink again soon probably like later today.“
“I was here yesterday while shopping at Tokyo Central. The boba was pretty OK, but the kitties were really cute. I think the store owner missed an opportunity. This place should be called BOBA CATT or BOBA CAT-FE. The pet store side had plenty of variety of treats for doggies too. Oh, you need to make a donation in order to go play with the cats, who are all up for adoption.“
“One of the most welcoming, warmest boba shops I've ever been to. The owner's so nice and her daughter is so sweet. Had a great experience here. Drinks are at a very reasonable price, especially for their size and quality. I paid roughly 13 for 2 drinks. There's also a promotion or event going on where students who bring in their students IDs will get a free cup of noodles with an order of a drink. The store is very pretty interior decoration and they sell pins and assortments of keychains for you to look through. I've never had such an experience a boba place. Really look forward to my next visit :)“
“We love this boba place! Whenever we're in the Baldwin Park area, we make sure to stop and get out boba and drinks here.My go to drink is the Mango smoothie!!! I love how cold, nice and refreshing it is!!! The strawberry smoothie is my son's favorite and anything matcha are my girls favs!!! Boba Lair has seasonal drinks as well which we'll try just because it's what they're featuring.Everything here is yummy yummy yummy! Come try for yourself.“
“Was craving for some quick hotpot on a cold day and this place definitely hit the spot I tried their stinky tofu hotpot and it did not disappoint. There's a decent amount of meat in there and other ingredients as well. I wish the broth was a bit stronger in terms of flavor but it was delicious. They have a sauce station where you get to put together your own sauce. Service was friendly and the food didn't take too long to come out. I actually prefer this over boiling point because of the less wait and the food is just as good, if not better.“
“This place has real avocado and taro smoothies, and make a lot of their menu items fresh. It's just the two of them working now usually but the owners are wonderful.Vegetarian options: They offer milk substitutes for their drinksParking: Spaces are a bit tight“
“The store is located inside a plaza with many stores but it's a very big parking lot. Didn't have trouble finding parking.I tried the green milk tea with boba. I love that they use organic teas and I could taste the tea and not masked by sugar and cream. The boba was a nice chewy consistency. Good drink.Staff was friendly. They have indoor seating. And I noticed a shelf with a few games if you wanted to hang out there for a little bit seemed like a nice little spot.“
“This was such a cute find from the 'City of Monrovia,' which neighbors, the 'City of Arcadia.' I normally stick to supporting the 'City of Arcadia,' but due to all the five star reviews I browsed, I Yelped my way here to support them late night on March/27/24. I ordered the Royal Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba but upgraded to the Surprise cup because I wanted the plushy toy which I got 'Plushy Toast.' I'm definitely keeping the surprise paper cup because that was super cute too. I only drank 1/3 of the tea because was sharing the rest of it with my dad. With all the stuff I got, my order came out $9 something, but it was totally worth it due to these super cute souvenirs. These are such cute concepts making this Tea House super innovative. Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Value: 10/10. PS. They still give out frequent buyer cards. I'll be back!!!! They had me at Hello.“
“I am delighted to give a glowing 5-star review to this fantastic boba store! Their consistent dedication to accommodating our large group every Friday is truly commendable. The staff goes above and beyond, providing exceptional service with a smile. The boba drinks are consistently delicious, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes our weekly visits a highlight.“
“I recommend you try this place whenever you can. They have a large option of drinks. The staff are always so kind. My favorite drinks are the horchata cinnamon crumbs, the brown sugar milk tea, and the butterfly mango. Soo delicious and big thank you to the staff!“
“Mochinut has made a name for itself, from wherever it is they originate from, somewhere between Taiwan and Japan I'm sure, they definitely deserve the praise and attention of all fellow donut lovers. The texture of mochi with the simple but thoughtfully-classic flavors makes it difficult to choose but impossible not to pass up. Everything is subtle but to the point, no frills, thrills or unnecessary grills, just the dollop of drizzle and a loving layer of icing or flavored sugar, it's the Krispy Kreme you want without the grease or the self-hate that is sure to follow minutes after the box had been emptied, crumbed and tossed in sad coffee jizzzz. The texture is very well balanced, the only thing I would maybe have to say that needs improvement is the freshness but we also didn't come until after 4:20pm-- so story would've been different if I'd shown up at the crack of first donut. If I was casing for more cheese and fried foods, without the OC fair, I'd consider stuffing my face with their multiple flavors of fun batter on a stick. Some of their corndog flavors looked.. like I need a bite or two. And I'm.. one of the last persons who'd ever volunteer to chomp down on corndogs-- any dogs, for that matter. Mochinut you have my blessing. Make sure to go a little extra and get a pack of at least three. Otherwise unveiling what's in this Tiffany box is going to be way sadder than a hungry tiger. If pastries could be animals, these would be the mane on lions. If you could eat a ring of pinchable powerful fur, wouldn't you? Then sleep for two days. I am full, Mochinut! Thank you!“
“Get the antarctic drink and the little cheese that looks like mouse cheese but is actually cheesecake. Amazing drinks and desserts that have little novelty accents that make great treats or gifts. I treat my teen daughter to this place when I want to reward her. We love it. There's also a cool chill spot when you walk in...bleachers to enjoy your drink and chat.“
“I absolutely adored the aesthetics of this shop. It was so peaceful and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The drink itself was super on point. I don’t treat myself to dessert drinks often but the matcha cheesecake was totally worth it. I also loved the special cup they put it in, it was a fun soda shaped container you don’t normally see.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor. No bathrooms available to public“
“Ok, so this tea place is definitely in my top 5 drink spots. I love that they have so many flavors and mix/match options. The employees are always nice and patient. They always give great recommendations if I ask. And they have a fridge with discounted pre-made drinks that I love to grab. The triple shot is my favorite!“
“This review is only for the oolong milk tea and service. This place also serves food. But I came in for the oolong milk tea. Really good. Met my expectations and the price was perfect! Service was really good. The woman working was Very nice and polite. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely come back. Ps: I found this place because I searched up "boba". Turns out this place used to be or is affiliated with "Quickly". S“
“This place has excellent tea and plenty of choices. The best thing about this location is that they make all teas fresh on site. This means there is a wait for your drink; however, it is worth the wait. I would recommend any of their milk teas. They also have red beans that can be added to most drinks.“
“Got a mango berry shaved snow, a jasmine milk tea with boba and coffee jelly, and a strawberry crepe. Drink was decent, next time would get without coffee jelly. Snow was also good but I should've got strawberry instead of mango berry. Their crepes are WILDLY delicious though, I don't know what they put in those strawberries but even out of season they taste incredible! Would definitely go back just for more crepes.Seating is very limited inside, more of a takeout than a hangout“
“I love tealove jasmine milk tea, taro milk, passion fruit with lychee. This location is consistent with picking up their phone unlike the Fontana location. Drinks are always made great and in a timely manner. The staff is also friendly and welcoming here.“
“Miss Tea is a great boba stop! Love the cute murals inside, and their drinks are buy one get one free :) I bought a coffee milk tea with boba and a mango peach tea with mango jelly - the total came out to $8.11. Definitely a couple dollars cheaper than other popular boba spots. The drinks tasted great and as a fun add on they also sell some Sanrio merch inside (hello kitty, etc) :) Parking is easy but FYI this shop is small, not a place to get boba and hang out.“
“I came here for the first time recently because it was the only place open in the area at the time. Looking at the menu, I was already a little wary because it suggests that you flavor your milktea, I suspect that the basic tea doesn't taste very good on its own.The clerk patiently answered my questions about the premium milk teas. I appreciate that they answered questions about the flavor of the drinks and what it contained (powder vs syrup) and details about the oolong milk tea. The drinks were prepared quickly after the order was placed which is great. However, the drinks were not so good. I would not get the Thai tea again. Albeit, it was half-sweet so that might have worsened the flavor, but it tasted strongly of powder and rather bland in terms of the tea flavor. The Phoenix oolong was ok, but it didn't have nearly as much of a roasted flavor as I had hoped. It would have been nice if it had a strong tea flavor as well. The pudding was decent.I don't plan to go back, despite the good service.“
“Been coming to this place after being introduced by our high school daughter. Our whole family is addicted to their yummy and flavorful fruit smoothie boba. Our favorite is the strawberry peach smoothie with boba. Thank you Cafe Bungalow for making our almost daily treat. The ambiance is clean and modern. The staff are friendly and respectful, they even accommodate my daughter's starbucks chai latte order with sea salt caramel syrup. My daughter loves it!“
“Came on a Saturday. Uranus had just opened. It was a rather quiet morning. The staff member who helped me was patient, kind, and gave me good recommendations. I ordered the Tiger Milk Tea, Strawberry Yakult, and Peach Oolong Tea. The Tiger Milk Tea was Thai tea with Boba. I would give it a 8/10. The Strawberry Yakult what is flavorful and had strawberries in it. I would give it a 9/10. I would want to try their other Yakult drinks. The Peach Oolong was very flavorful. I would also give this an 8/10. It was awesome that you could customize sweetness. I made all three drink 1/4 sweetness which was perfect. The parking was easy. I was the only one there until I put my drinks in the carrier and left. The ambiance was chill. The decor was a mish mash of legos and knickknacks. Definitely stop by for a refreshing drink!“
“First of all, poke was good. It was not my top 5 favorite poke but it was fresh and good. However the wing that they sell is awful.. its the same chicken nugget that they sell in AMC theater. They sell it as wings but its more like popcorn chicken. Taste is awful. Dont get bonless wings!! Not sure about the bone in wings though.“
“My friends & I came to Yomie after our lunch, and it was so worth it!! I’ve tried their rice yogurt drinks before, and they were creamy and tangy. I just tried their passion fruit green tea, & YUM~ There’s definitely less of a tea taste, but I love the sweetness to it ◡̈.“
“This is a cute hidden gem ideal for studying or doing some work! They had a BOGO 50% off promo on all drinks everyday from 5-7pm and we like that they offered snacks on their menu. But the popcorn chicken wasn't what we were expecting..we'd give it a 2.5/5. It honestly tasted frozen and the flavoring was not the traditional seasoning at other Taiwanese boba shops. The wintermelon fruit tea was really good even with only 25% sweetness. They had plenty of parking in the parking lot. Only downside is they close kind of early. Very excited to have a boba shop in this neighborhood!“
“It has been our second visit to this location and we've loved all the drinks we've gotten there. We live in NorCal and always make a spot to grab a drink here on the way in to see family in corona ca. I can tell their matcha is great quality and their selections of teas are blend well with the matcha. They have soft served too which is even more fun but hard in a good way when you want a drink and soft served ahah. They didn't have any more boba when we we there and hoping that is always available is small batches until they close so they don't waste it, cause it was yummy the last time we had it. I wish they had bathrooms available for customers for those who want to sit and hang or come far. We drove 5 hours and my baby needed to be changed as we were ordering and we didn't have anywhere to, they told us to go somewhere else, but hoping that maybe have something for paying customers for convenience as I'm sure their employees have a place to use. Parking can be bad on weekends as it's in a plaza with a lot of other yummy food/drink places, but recommend it's worth a spot if you love matcha and good boba tea. The place is small intimate with about 3 tables to sit and hang for a short time. Will still come back for the drinks and soft served!“
“my favorite place to get a strawberry mango smoothie ever since i found it on apple maps a few months ago, i love that they have regular non-slush fruit smoothies (although they also have slush smoothies as well). the workers are also nice as well!“
“This small eatery has been around for a while with new proprietor every few years The current proprietors are friendly and welcoming. Today, we had the 3-cup chicken, which was made up with one cup of chicken, one cup of cooking wine and one cup of garlics. Overall, it was delicious but just a bit too sweet. The other dish we had was the stewed pork over rice and it was decent. This place’s top choice is the traditional beef noodles where you can order all beef meat or 1/2 beef meat and 1/2 tendons. I’ve tried the 1/2 beef meat and 1/2 tendons before and it was pretty good. The menu offered a lot of typical lunch dishes that are popular in Taiwan and you should be able to find something new to try.Vegetarian options: Some options were available, but I won’t come here just to ear vegetarian dishes.Parking: There is a big lot here.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, barely. This is a tiny strip mall eatery.“
“My friend Dopey brought me here for my first time to try the popcorn chicken specifically! There are 3 spice levels i chose mild, never have I had such juicy perfectly crisp bites of chicken hands down the best i had. There is such a huge menu to choose from heard the fried porkchop is delicious. I there is a wide variety of jelly which is really cool i got a taro with rainbow jelly. I definitely recommend this place.“
“I have been looking for a new place to eat. Been driving by this place alot and decided to go in there for a drink 1st.I have been looking for a watermelon sushi for awhile. I found it. Taste greatI went back a few days later to try their meals. I ordered 2 different rice plates. One was a butterfly shrimp (8 pieces) with rice and a salad. The 2nd one was rice fish fillets. Both were very tasty. When I go back again, I will try their popcorn chicken.I would recommend this place. Will give an update when I order the popcorn chicken and crispy shrimp musubi“
